    42023 is the best official set to do that with. So cool!! It reminds me of that transformers scene where all the mining equipment turns into the massive transformer. I really like this, I never thought about combining sets like this until you starting doing it. I am still against putting stuff like this into a contest thought, sorry. I can easily tell the official set from the rest of the MOC. It would have to be a totally redesigned and rebuilt MOC for it to be legal in the contest.

    So I can finally show you my work space. I just finished building the desk and have everything situated. This is my Technic Workspace Sorry for the phone picture quality, but there it is. Not a professional workspace, but it will do the trick :) Next is a shelf for above the drawers and some kind of a shelving unit for the red containers. But that will come at a later time. Thanks for looking!

    As a kid, I would not have let go of the controler. I have to keep the balls moving for the system to work and it is my mission to do so.... Even now as an adult, that is a really nice GBC, not only is it functional but playable. GBCs are cool, but most of the time they lack the playability factor. Well done!

    I got the BWE for $185 shipped, I didn't think that was a bad deal at all. It was used, but none of the parts show any kind of wear.

    When efferman was asking about the boom size, that is what I was comparing it to. IMO, this set should be military based, but I think we all know that LEGO and military don't mix. If we have olive green parts. I'd buy the set and make it a full on military recovery truck.

    I have not done anything with my Technic parts since TC11, maybe I will start a project soon, not necessarily to celebrate the 40 year anniversary.

    Maybe LEGO will do what they did for the Arocs (Mercedes symbol), make a badge for the truck (bulldog)

    A lot of you are talking about the rally car, which is fine, I am just more curious about the MACK truck. I would think that it uses the newer gear racks for out riggers similar to how 42070 uses them, so that kind of gives us an idea of the size of the model. Some of you have said that you do not think that the model will be pf, which I agree, it does not look like it has enough room for the entire thing to be remote controlled. We do not know anything for sure about any of these new released/leaked photos of the 2018 sets, but for the MACK truck in particular, what would you like to see happen to it? What size tires? PF? All mechanical? Do you like the trailer idea? I want to know your opinions about this truck. It has me very excited, possibly even more than 42009.... nah, who m I kidding, I love that set.

    Well I am not spending any more money on lego for the next year. The Mack truck is looking mighty fine. Don't let me down LEGO!!

    Hey guys, Every year we have a discussion and speculation for that year's new sets. A lot of the time we have a lot of big hopes and dreams for sets and we never really get it. I am wondering what kind of sets you guys hope you see in the future, whether it be next year or in 5 years. I am curious to know what you want to see in the Technic lineup. Anything from what it is to motorized or not to new PF parts. Let's hear it!

    even if 42070 was $200, that is too expensive for those tires.... because that is all I would want haha BTW, just tires, not even the wheels, I do not need more yellow rims!!!

    That's a really cool MOC. Yes, I do not like the stance, but the car itself it very cool. If you build a Honda Civic or something, stance that garage, not a beautiful Ferrari. Well done!

    I think you are misunderstanding what I am saying. The modified boom you made is a good size, maybe too square? But the extension part looks skimpy IMO if you beef up the main boom, the extension needs some beefing up as well. It is your build, you do what you want. I am just telling you my opinion.
