  1. Oh yeah. I've become used to seeing it without stickers though.
  2. Your video must be the first time I've seen somebody apply the stickers.
  3. What I meant was using the same angle-connector technique surrounding the grill, since the nose part is similar in both versions of the real Zetros. Look at the 6x6 prototype. See the area surrounding the grill? That should have been retained.
  4. I still think it should have been framed identically to the previous grill. It lacks some definition in the final version.
  5. You're right. I still prefer the old grille though.
  6. I don't know why the grill was changed from the 6x6 version; it looked so much cleaner, and was more accurate. The final design is a bit muddled and awkward.
  7. This is an "18+" (seriously, what does that even mean?) set - complex features and elaborate detailing should be a given. 2WD and stickered headlamps would be an absolute joke even if this thing was labelled 10+.
  8. While I don't hate the styling on 42129, I simply think any kind of utilitarian configuration would've worked better. It'd fit in more with the precedent set by the previous Mercs.
  9. I'm not accusing Dyen of copying anything. I'm fully aware that this was developed entirely separately from 42128. I merely wanted to see the two trucks side-by-side for a simple comparison. It's an arbitrary wonderment that's understandably been taken the wrong way. And once more to Dyen: fantastic job!
  10. It does indeed look superb! Maybe a side-by-side comparison with 42128 is warranted here?
  11. Sorry Dyen, but your timing might be a bit off...
  12. They'll also work great on previous sets that used the balloon tyre.
  13. I'm personally quite happy with the tyres. Maybe a tread similar to that seen on 42124's tyres would work better here, at least visually, but the chevron patterns probably lend more grip.
  14. Yeah. Seeing as this thing lost an axle and is fairly small, more manoeuvrability would have been great.
  15. "No B-model despite enormous B-model potential"; "+8 to disliking LEGO marketing and accounting people". Sums it up quite nicely!
