LED (or other) replacement for old #4771 light brick?
Chilis replied to NateStraight's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Sorry I am a bit off topic here but PLEASE Lego, bring this great lights back! Bring more life and joy to vehicles, accessories and buildings! (Yes, you are allowed to bring them back with LED) -
Incredible cool building and design both exterior and interior! LOVE IT! Put it on Lego Ideas, please!

Hi everyone! I`ve just put my Retro Arcade & Games MOC out at Lego Ideas. This is a design I´ve made by my own and I wanted to catch a kinda middle-1990`s-feeling of games and LAN. My brother founded a Internet Cafe back in 1995 and it was the first place in our town to offer LAN gaming/LAN parties and easy internet access for everyone. PacMan was a 80`s thing and I don`t know about you but I sure played the game a lot into the 90` as well. That is the reason for a potential mismatch. There`s three coin-op machines in the 2nd floor. It`s easy to add more by removing the LANcomputers. I`m born in 1979 so I remember both decades very well and have a lot of good childhood memories. The pictures speak for themselves but I`ve used a 16 x 32 baseplate and the building consist of approx 850 pieces. I think this would be a fun and great addition to any Lego City! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/78146 Thank you

You`ve GOT to be kidding!? Insurance is my everyday work. Take pictures of everything in your home. Make a _list_ of your _collections_. Brickset is a very good place to keep it. You can also import your list to Excel. Remember to have a high enough amount of home contents insurance, it needs to be high enough to cover all of your inventory. Important! Save the pictures secure by keeping them online, like Dropbox or iCloud.

As I should say it myself. No mixing old/new parts in the same MOC or in any other way. If a part/brick is damaged it will be banned from the collection for lifetime. Everything* (as you have listed) have to be functional and realistic. No StarWars or other themes in my CITY, that is the main rule, but nobodys perfect ait :) *is awesome

Thank you for asking, its a interesting dilemma. I have all the modulars from Cafe Corner to the lastest Parisian Restaurant, Market Street included. Most of them in several duplicates. I haven`t build PC og PR yet because lack of space at the moment, but that will change in near future. Something inside me says that I´m not allowed to MOD a modular other than add more floors in the same original style or add a 2.nd, 3rd or 4th building of the same next to each other. <- Looking very good with 4 Grand Emporiums . The same rules for other, smaller sets as Police cars, garbage trucks, town houses etc.. I do (believe it or not) build MOCs but only with new parts from PaB, BrickLink or LugBulks. And on top of that I do not allow mixing old bricks (from my own childhood) with new ones. This means that my old Lego is used once in a while and only by my 4 kids. I guess `The Lego Movie` is very representable for me. But thats me ;) (Where is my psychologist you may ask, I don`t have one and I don`t think (hope) I need one?) Edit: There`s two exceptions: The Tower Bridge, want to MOD into one, tall tower and the City Garage, MOD`ed into one taller garage. (See my Brickshelf-link below)

I really love your work but could never do the same thing with my PC or the other modulars.... Something inside me says that I´m not allowed to MOD a modular other than add more floors in the same original style or add a 2.nd, 3rd or 4th building of the same next to each other. Looking very good with the Grand Emporium. But thats me ;)

Review Review: 70816 Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP!
Chilis replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thank you for another fantastic review! Sadly it make me NOT want the set (whaat). Its just not enough Classic Space-alike. And it was the stickers that put it on the No-Go list. Too bad.- 228 replies

Your layout looking very nice (and look a little like my layout)! Its named "KimVille" and are always under construction (ucs?) Anyway, fun to see your layout and how it develops! I have about the same sized tables and thinking of only have the modular buildings, roads and a traintrack, skip all the small stuff..

Love it! Got a feeling I`ve bin there before? :) Very realistic!
