V8, the hood, it reminds me of F40 -
I thought of buying just green parts of 42008 and PF/pneumatics only on BL, as other parts are really common. But it turns out ithe price of parts is almost the same as complete new set. 42000 has cool tyres and new batches have new, Boss like, wheels. There lots of white, reb and black plates also. Better wait for sales and buy both.

41999 and small child warning

Look on it from a different side. The boy is interested in machinery, gears and technology and he tested his curiosity on LEGO rather on real life machinery, which could cause serious injuries. Well, you know, everyone tastes soap, sooner or later- 27 replies

Those wheels for forklift looks tiny! Well it isn't stealing. Sometimes idea is in the air, and couple of parties consider it as good option before at least one shows up with their product. -
Your Best Technic Bargains
zux replied to Kumbbl's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Recently bought 8284 B Model + RC motor with BB (similar to PF one) + Speed Computer for 40€ including shipping. Bargain! Original sale was on model with RC motor and BB, speed somputer was advertised by seller as a little suprise. And I really like the price and suprise! -
One of the greates things I see here is the presence of cars (sets) made by TLG. You know, when kids or parents would ask (and as I read they did ask during this event) if these could be bought - it is an awesome thing! You can build a good looking MOC or the one with greatest functions, but if you cannot buy it - well, no one will go to BL to buy all of the parts and search for instructions (these should exist at first). I think Crawler did help a lot of people to get into Technic more as it is the most successful remote controlled model as you can interact with the model and have your own. And don't forget 9398 has lost of parts too, these alone could be used for lots of own MOCs + PF = As a result - we need more remote controlled Crawlers or Buggies as an official sets!

Like the smoothness of the body surface, looks cool too! I wonder if rear wheels have some clearance between rubber and arches? -

I see you have one point of touch with an axle here. I have tested earlier, a bit different solution: use same 24T gear, but from both sides of the rim, with just two 3L pins in each of them. As a result RC rim is fixed on axle in two points and it doesn't slide too much into sides, some half bushes greatly improve this. -

Ok, now I know how that wheel is connected - look closer to the wheel center and you can see 24 teeth gear is used. 4 pcs. of 3L pins used inside can secure the wheel pretty good. And if you use 2pcs 24teeth gears with only 2 3L pins inside and attaching them from different sides as a result it gives rigid connection once you mount the wheel on an axle! Woohoo, I got new weels to use! And the best thing about it - rim has an offset. Rim's offset isn't that great, after all. -

> Zblj Awesome looks! I know the wheels have totally incompatible axle comparing with Technix axle. So I wonder if you could post an image how you attached those wheels to normal axles. -

What about rollcage body made from axles and connectors? This shouldn't be heavy at all and ther's a lot of ways to create your style.- 30 replies
