  1. Have you tried running motor with gears for longer time? I would worry about gear overheating due to friction, as motor spins really fast.
  2. I have discovered similar issue some time ago. My suggestion would be to use 42000 wheel hubs with liftarms of required length.
  3. Woah, what a good looking MOC! Body is very cool - I really would love to build it.
  4. Some of us like to collect too, not just build and MOC. I can allow myself to pick some parts temporarly from sets I prefer to keep assembled, just to make sure these parts are the ones needed for MOC and I'd buy copy from BL later.
  5. Does anyone know how long it takes to receive parts after paying for them? Time scales in EU would be appreciated.
  6. Thanks both! I didn't recognize the part since because of not seeing its "legs" extension.
  7. I wonder, what kind of part is that in the center?
  8. This is something I'm happy about, if you can say so. TLG could fight and try to ban this item somehow. But now imagine you see your MOC is being build and distributed by some unknown chinese company.
  9. Below is not personally to Vee: I just don't get it why people collect Architecure series not even knowing the subject. It looks really strange when people blame TLG for releasing "never known before' landmark. I'm not the fan of a series, but didn't know some of initially released sets, new ones - are obviously well known. The funny thing is even when you don't know what it is, you still NEED IT. Something is not right.
  10. Mmmm, I can imagine how cool it would be having all Technic pins, connectors and liftarms in those funky colors other themes have
  11. Well I think everyone with new parts would come up with the same or similar setup.
  12. Yeah, colored Technic parts have issues with color being of slightly different shades for some reason I can understand that when comparing liftarms and say connectors (these looks like made of a different plastic or mixture), but when two same liftarm have different shades - that's bad. I've noticed this with yellow, red and blue parts. Black, LBG and DBG seems to be fine.
  13. Not sure what you really need, but have you heard about Bricklink or Rebrickable.
  14. Since which year you call items modern? Recently I had a look at my LEGO from childhood - I was really disapointed to see lower arm part of almost all minifigs to be cracked heavily, some even have sliced cracks (that is "parallel") . All sets from early 90's.
  15. You need to physiccally cut old differential to make 24 teeth clutch gear from part of it.
  16. Yes, YES, I like it! F40 is one of best looking Ferraries for me, so I'd love to build one.
  17. I was wondering what is the point of these numbers and why did you point to that. And theeeen it hit me - it's LEGO written upside down. Didn't know that before.
  18. Wow, clean and smooth lines - I like it very much. Those tires tend to make any MOC looking great.
  19. Your construction should be heavy enough too, so tires won't loose grip.
  20. These are new items released in small amount in sets. So I think there might be a high demand at the beginning, but eventually price will go down with more parts appearing on BL.
  21. I have never bought parts directly from LEgo, so I wonder what are delivery rates?
  22. Friends sets have some Technic parts, like 12 stud long white axles, some yellow connectors. Some SW sets have Technic parts in unusual colours.
  23. It is real. Sets produced earlier have 3-hole rims unlike the later sets having 6-hole rims with reinforcements. How do reinforced (6-hole) rims perform, is there any bumping, or uneven roll of the tyre?
  24. so you mean that tyres, maybe even most of them come from China? Actually there is no wonder about it. I have several tyres that have proper shape, but visually tyre sides are a bit distorted.
  25. Nice one, this really makes me want to scrap long going modification of A-model and build the B one.
