    I don't own any of the LotR wave 2 sets, because they are quite expensive for the amount of pieces you get. But I'll get all of them with the exception of the pirate ship, when they are reduced on Amazon. What I've seen so far, the Council of Elrond is my favourite set in that wave. The minifigs and pieces are just faboulous.

    Ordered 10937 Arkham Asylum last weekend and i got it from the mailman just three days later. Can't wait for building it in summer holiday.

    These are good news, I am still full of hope, that Salzburg will get a store some day. Who knows, maybe the next Austrian store in a few years.

    That's insane, I really don't know what to say. The use of all this different colors and the ground textures seem extremely thoughtful selected. I also like your self-created animals, especially the fox.

    That's a great idea to redesign some old 1980's sets. I always wanted to do it myself - rebuilding the Black Falcon Castle or one of those Knights Kingdom castles, cause of the baseplate. Looking forward to see some more remakes soon.

    Ordered "10223 Kingdoms Joust" a week ago. I wanted to buy the Tower of Orthanc, but then I saw this set and fell in love with it.

    For an 11-year old that's really good. Especially the roof looks gread. The only thing that bothers are the yellow windows, white ones might look better.

    A nice looking vignette. The minifigure posing and the choice of headprint for this scene is well done. I also like the little trees in the background!

    What a fantastic review and set as well. For the moment this set has been announced I wanted it so bad, but then I've decided to pass and buy the Kingdoms joust instead. I love the design of Grima Wormtongue and Saruman, maybe I have to max my budget for LEGO to get this wonderful set.

    What a nice model. Anyway, I won't be able to afford it, becaus I've already planned to spend my money on the new LotR Sets and some medieval LEGO stuff.

    That's a great work. This moc shows real emotions, before reading the description I watched the pictures and noticed all the distress. Well done!

    I like your review, but that set looks quite poor. The colors in this new line are far too bright and dazzling, I mean the medieval was a quite dark time in history. Though the new barding and swords of this line are really useful.

    Great review - love that last pic! I bought some reduced Belville sets back in the day for my Fabuland figures. And this Friends sets seem to include as useful pieces as Belville did. Now I think about getting some sets at cut rates. By the way, am I the only one that thinks Mrs. Stevens looks like Dr. Jennifer Melfi?

    Thank you Damaximus When I built something in the past my mocs quite often lacked of details. But this time it was actually my aim to include as many details as possible, or at least I could think of.

    Thank you -Carson Haupt- Thank you Reagan Youth Actually you can see some parts I always wanted to use in my creations (brain-piece, Belville carafe) but they never seemed to fit. Further I really enjoyed to "design" this minifigures, I think light flesh heads and hands look much more realistic than yellow ones.

    This ruined wall looks insane, that's a great technique. And the gore effect is simply brilliant.

    Hello everyone, in this thread I want to present you my latest build. After building some 16x16 vignettes, I was desperate to build something bigger and add a little story to my creation. Sir Junus of Rorickshelm comes to the capital too meet his old friend Salhãm a rich financier and merchant from the south-eastern lands. The reason why Sir Junus has travelled to the capital is the mission to convince the richt merchant to support the armies of the Lords from the North in the war against the wildmen. Both meet in a park near the wall of the city boundary, a lively place where merchants from all over the realm have their stands and selling foreign goods. And people who aren't interested in trading can gaze at the beautiful fireworks of a jester or enjoy a walk under the shady trees in the park. Despite all this idyll, you always have to be on one's guard against slick-fingered pick-pockets. I hope you like it!

    That looks superb, the official LEGO set should look like this! But how did you manage to attache the rocks for the hill?

    Yeah, would be interesting to know the prices for France, should be the same for Germany as well.
