  1. I am seeing 2k PLN for EU and 2.5k for NA market. 4PLN is roughtly 1$. Those are my settings (shows "anywhere" but would be same for european union): ...and that's NA: I advise you to mark most expensive stores as "disliked", this alone can bring prices down significantly.
  2. Ah yes. The humble 1x2 plate. You can have your fancy 1x1 brackets, posing stands, cheese slopes, travis bricks... but when there is a REAL job to be done, 1x2 plates are doing the heavy lifting. If you encounter any issues please tell me - those weren't easy instructions to make (or render). Studio is barely working at such piece counts. We did check all we could but given the scope there will be some issues here and there.
  3. We have finished testing phase, I am doing final fixes in instructions and BV are doing some final preparations. Most importantly the physical model is 100% done and tested. I'd say week or two.
  4. No, at least not easily. I apologize. In general I sacrificed that feature for easier and safer handling of the model. Yellow area is the frame. Red dots are connection points for the angled sections. The upper section of the frame is directly where the rear room would be and it also serves as connection points for the angled sections on the sides. You could probably thin out the frame to incorporate that room, but it won't be easy and for sure will lessen general structural integrity of the ship. I was considering doing it, but the way those "cheek" areas are attached makes them hard - if not impossible - to easily remove for access to this section. So even though there is some space under the cockpit and you put a fig there, it is very hard to access.
  5. Sadly quite a common issue with studio. Your file is probably corrupted and saving no longer works. You can change it and do anything you want while having it open, but save is out of question. I had this multiple times, which is why I have bazillions of versions for each file + commit often into git. Try asking on bricklink studio forum, maybe one of the devs there can help you. If not, gg.
  6. I like it! Maybe it belongs more to generic sci-fi than star wars, but this is a really neat build. I like the transparent outer skin the most, such a cool idea. Perhaps I'd even ditch all armament and make it a civilian craft?
  7. Razor Crest Update #1! I believe that's final design. Roof is now properly flattened, while still retaining minscule but noticeable wing angle, section behind the cockpit has been changed for better shape, and engines were updated thanks to ScottishDave's input on Eurobricks. Now I need to update the studio model (not too hard, should be few hours at worst) and I can get to making instructions. In the meantime, Brickvault will commence their internal review to ensure there are no flaws in the model, parts lists or instructions. I'd like to thank everyone who preordered, commented and liked - fantastic support from you all! Stay tuned for future updates!
  8. Due to significantly different architecture (sideways brick-built smooth surfaces vs tiled plates), amount of pieces shared with the set is somewhat low. I could optimize it to up to about 50%, but it would make it worse for everyone who does not have the set. I recommend to get just the canopy now, since its price and availability shifts wildly!
  9. Guys, just to be clear: I do not own a patent for a TIE Fighter made with 8 of those quarter-dome pieces and brick-built panels. This here is clearly a different design aside from those elements. It so happens that any relatively good proportioned T/F using these parts will look similar, there is no way around it until some new piece happens to be made. Chill, its cool! The design itself also is!
  10. You basically have those options, and mine is not the thickest: - 1 plate thick wings which have studs on one side and understuds on the other side. I didn't like it because I generally don't like visible studs. - 2 plate thick wings, with tiled studs on one side and visible understuds on the other. This is better but only half better and you still have an ugly texture on one side. - 3 plate thick wings with tiled studs on both sides and some shenanigans inbetween allowing to have those tiles on both sides. Now this looks good from the sides, but is now in total 3-plate wide... - 1 stud thick wings which have smooth sides and edges. This is equivalent of 2.5 plate thick wings. To me this was the best solution. That said, we should not really look at total thickness but percieved thickness, which in turn is the thickness of an edge. Which means you could do something like what Reputator did in 2017 with his small but nice Interceptor: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/117309-moc-yet-another-tie-interceptor/ So this has narrow edges and also you could tile some of the studs. There is no way to tile all (or even most) of them really, and the edges have not very nice hole-y texture stemming from 2x4 / 2x3 wedge tiles. All in all, I believe for now, given the parts choice, the brick-built approach is optimal.
  11. o_O Alright, this MOC is pretty alright. Very much, in fact. Normally I'd produce sad noises due to all the studs but in this scale? Those are no studs, those are texture. I do not possess much knowledge about source material, but from what I managed to google quickly, it seems to be a really good reproduction. How is this thing managing to fly straight though, having just one engine at the side?
  12. This is a major rework. Panels are completely different, almost symmetrical lengthwise, while mine uses more tie-interceptor like panels. I'd say it needs to be done from scratch if you wish to have this look like this ship you posted. Really the only common part is the triple-fold symmetry. Even the front is not a ball anymore, but something else.
  13. Oh I am for sure going to attempt a redesign in studio. For now it seems it is doable to just angle the roof right and redo the tail. If I have to adjust those goddamned wing leading edges... v.1.0 is the FINAL and DEFINITE and it STAYS!
  14. Yeah... I started using a 3d model found on shapeways: https://www.shapeways.com/product/XMY9UMY6V/razor-crest-1-270?optionId=133650239 It just looked right to me. It honestly is a great 3d model and kudos to its author(s)! Since when I started there was only first season available, which had no shots showing the roof from the side, I had no idea it is wrong. Also I guess this is why the shapeways author, Mel Miniatures got it wrong too. And then Season Two came and aside from other bad stuff it did for the Razor Crest, it also shown me I messed up up there :D
  15. Poor ship. I have to say, I am not a huge fan of its looks. It is like an UPS truck, or a beat-down cab in poorer part of the city. Gets the job done and offers just minimal creature comforts. On top of that this particular ship had no easy life either. If I had to write all the accidents it had I'd basically describe half or more of the story of the Mandalorian show, so to avoid spoilers - go watch it yourself. For now just believe me: Millennium Falcon had really easy and nice life compared to the Razor Crest. I did not plan to build it initially, but Brickvault guys asked me one time if I would and I agreed. After all this is quite a small ship, right? And boxy, easy shape, right? So I'll just do a month or maybe month-and-half detour from my plan, riiight? Oh boy. This aged like milk. We talked in May and, uh, I am not done yet, but more on that later :D This one-and-half month detour took half of the year, almost 5k pieces and was far harder than I expected it would be. Once again, an angular thing proves to be far more difficult in LEGO than a curved one. Got a tiny angle wrong and everything falls apart. And the size? Just about 70 studs. Yeah. There goes "quite a small ship". Btw, would you consider it an UCS or minifig scale, considering it is... kinda... both? So what do we have here? 5k pieces, a bit over 3 kilos of mass, plenty of features, internal frame strong enough to do this: https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipP6ZbI-UJ09F5vPPMEbTkF1L9q2EZkMnegT8EbEC4fFMUba0WqZii3KR3Pcg_Waag/photo/AF1QipOPONHBr-6ATUGQnvs1n3uJr-Gy7C0HCNvY79DY?key=MmRXMFNjTFVIU3Rmekg3UTZqOUhvTEY1MzB3TUxB I had some fun at, uh, "temporary local beach" (on quite a high floor!) ...and on the Levitating Plate: All the hatches open: there are also additional hatches to access interior details. Truth to be told, access is not great. This is not really a play model because it is so heavy, but you can adjust stuff inside. The cockpit seats three, front seat folds for easy access to the back row: ...and of course there's plenty of space for Mando's quarries: So, why is it not done yet? I probably got the roof angle wrong. Actually, I definitely got it wrong. But is it a big deal? What do you think? Should I just proceed with instructions "as-is" or would like to see this updated? Or maybe you actually like this slightly slanted roof section? Instructions will be available on brickvault when complete, and there's a nice preorder for reduced price for now: https://www.brickvault.toys/products/razorcrest ------------------------------------------------------------ Razor Crest Update #1! 16. Yeah and finally I have to do that long-promised update. We are out of hatches on bricklink. It will be just like in FO T/F, no dish in the bottom and more sturdy attachment for the canopy.
  17. Uh? Why? What's wrong with that? Not to mention it was a year ago ;)
  18. Thanks a lot! :D It was a super fun build and I am glad you like it!
  19. Thanks! As for the chestplate, totally! I miss these 1x2 curved wedges sooooooooooo much. Wonderful little piece. I am happy I was able to do anything with olive (....which for example has no 1x2 tiles ?!?!?!?), but those wedges are so versatile. If those get released in olive I will do a redesign for sure!
  20. Hello! I am a fan of DOOM games. Since the original released in 1993, up to last-year hit of Doom Eternal. During that time I built plenty of DOOM builds, some I released like the Cacodemon or the Spider Mastermind (...with assorted green crustacean,s because why not). Some were failures I won't show here :D And yet, during all that time, I never tackled the most obvious thing you can build: The Doom Slayer himself. Until now. Let me present you the Doom Slayer himself! This is more a statue than a poseable figure, as I wanted to cover the joints as much as possible. There is some limited movement range here and there, but this was not a priority. Fun fact: The Slayer started in different color - in sand green. This is because on some pre-release renders and images it looked more like sand-green than olive to me: ...and then I took some in-game photos which were also definitely sand green. Except, uh, I made them in blue-tinted room so yeah, olive + blue -> sand green. The effect? I had this much: And then I decided to do a full rework. Was it worth it? I say yes, even though olive parts selection is pretty limited compared to what you have in sand green. What do you think? As usual instructions are available at brickvault.com.
  21. Yeah this is simply beyond my capabilities. I don't even own a place big enough to store not to mean place big enough to disassemble it in a planned fashion. Eviscerator is fantastic and uses more modern pieces I would use nowadays anyway. Go for it!
  22. Which color variant are you interested in? I can check for you. Please also tell me your region. As for those super expensive wheels, you can use a cheaper variant and it will work too.
  23. Thanks! No stands are included in brickvault instructions package; at the time we weren't doing them. As for ecmo47 stand you'd need to ask him. As for bundling the Defender as far as I understand there is some trouble with the sales platform. I'll ask.
  24. I can send you a parts list. Right away it can be done white or red, but if you can substitute few pieces like 1x3 panels and live with little gaps, other colors should be possible.
  25. The biggest dealbreaker for me would be making the struts so thick (3 plates now), buuuuuuuuuuuuut, I can now see the appeal of it. Maybe there is a way to make it viable in 2 plate-thick struts somehow. Even if there would be some gaps?
