Anywhoo, I agree with pig man that Lord Duvors flipping town takes away most if the argument against Dar. not sure exactly where that leaves us, but I do think that looking into some of the more silent individuals may be prudent. Toki, tar, ragnvald, and KoTZ are all big "?"s to me.

I agree that the week-length week is perfect! Shmails' offer though is a great one. I know! There's only one woman? I'm pretty sure there are a few... or at least more than one. although I do refer to some members by the gender of their character on accident now and again. I was just joking... but seriously... I won't lie. I would abuse that timeframe. Figs on baseplates every other day... I'd probably get 2s consistently, with a few 3s, but I'd still get more points than otherwise. I may not be the best builder playing... but I can churn out vignettes. I agree with literally everything you said here, from the motivation issue, down to the "more Mocs than the past 20 years of life." I third this. I actually agree that a week off after challenges would be great! At the very least it would enable me to make a reserve build to make up for the one I used in "chemical rain" ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Thanks for the reply, Bob! Your answer does leave me with a question, though: Cat B needs to be minifig scale, right? I guess I'm just confused about how an interior of the same ship could be entered as part of Cat C, without its interior being a judgement point of Cat B. You're saying that a build for Cat B which is minifig scale, and does have 5 seats might not have a real interior apart from the cockpit with the seat, and that a seperate build entered for Cat C could show what an interior of the ship would look like? Sorry to bump this topic, but I've been pretty busy. I really love this build so much! It is simply fantastic! The best Octan land vehicle! And I'm in there too! wonderful build! And wonderful reference to Octan's scorpion problem! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

I'm pretty sure that's just a wording thing. Correct me if I'm wrong, someone, but all of the Categories are required to be different ships. Category A is for a small ship. 1 person to 3, from a small fighter to a personal shuttle. Category B is a medium to however large you want ship, from a freighter to a carrier ship. Category C is for the interior of a truly massive ship, like the Axle. Something just too big to make the exterior in minifig scale. There is no micro challange, so Cat C is there for those colossal ships that just can't be built in a month. "Your" ship just means it's a ship that you inhabit. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

I'm fairly certain that regardless of what you do for Cat B, your Cat C has to be on a different ship... a bigger ship. Cat B is a whole ship, with enough interior to fit 5 people, but Cat C is just an interior. A build cannot serve as your entry for both categories. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

I was actually referring to the MANTIS ship behind it! It's a flyer, and the tech bonus doesn't specify it has to be an Octan ship! By the way, the Tank is just awesome! Love this build! Love the rough and tumble MANTIS Operatives holding out valiantly against Octan's superior imperial force! I also love how you mentioned Octan deemed the operation "illegal" that's a very Octan move! One suggestion, maybe add some text in between the pictures to explain what's going on? It's pretty clear, but some dialogue or narration would certainly elevate and elucidate the narrative. Thanks included a land vehicle, and a space vehicle! 2 extra DP! Thanks for the confirmation, Bob. I have a question too... Members of corps can add to the "Known aliens" section, right? Is it required that a known Alien be featured in an Alien build or freebuild as opposed to a weekly corp build? This may be relevant to my build for this week. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
