  1. I do not own any LEGO Harry Potter sets, but I think that 5378 is the best out of all the three. It has great minifigures (Snape is one of my favorite Harry Potter minifigures) and lots of stuff inside. If you want to know more about it, you can read Matn's review: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?...c=26899&hl= Good luck on choosing a set!
  2. I never tried using Sharpies on LEGO, but if you use it on hard plastics, it can come off if you use soap and stuff. A few months ago, I remember seeing a five year bump (2004 -> 2009) in the Star Wars forum.
  3. Wow, even though it's pretty simple, those are some nice additions to the Tauntaun! I'll probably do something like this when I get enough extra parts. Thanks showing us this!
  4. Great story, jansued! It makes a great addition to the actual review. No, the set includes regular smiley heads ( ).
  5. You guys can stop posting. He already found his answer yesterday, and even said that this topic can be closed.
  6. It has around 1,400 pieces (see quote below). The T-shirt does look pretty good, but I would rather have another chrome figure or chrome Darth Vaders for sale just like the chrome stormies.
  7. Awesome review, jansued! After seeing this, I really want this set. If I get a modular house set, it's probably going to be this (I might change my mind later). I'm going to try to get this for Christmas or something. If only Green Grocer and Fire Brigade were different prices; then I could easily decide which one to get.
  8. Thanks for the review. Two reviews of an exclusive set in two days is pretty quick for a set this small. It does look a bit small (for a 100 piece set) after the comparison picture with the V-19 Torrent and General Grievous' Starfighter mini sets (thanks for the picture by the way).
  9. Wow! LEGO employees are so lucky. Are these bonuses are also for LEGO Store workers? Or just for the people who work in the LEGO headquarters?
  10. I would like to see more minifig parts and minifig accessories (like food and stuff) and more rare colors of existing pieces (like dark blue).
  11. What are you talking about? You don't have to do anything at all to join the Reviewer's Academy. Thanks for a great review of a LEGO Star Wars set that I never knew existed, liquidcross! The model looks a bit too long compared to the large MTT, though. Is the mini model line that comes with one-fourth of a fifth model?
  12. I think that the easiest (and cheapest) way to get a Captain Rex minifigure is to get a keychain, remove the helmet (the head will be glued to it) and take off the blue arms, then attach the helmet and arms to a clone torso (without arms). Then you can just put on a black hip and white legs assembly. The whole thing will practicably be a minifigure, except for the fact that the helmet and head are stuck together. But it will only work if you don't plan on taking Rex's helmet off in your brickfilms. Also, I agree with darthperson; you could have just searched for "Ahsoka" and "Captain Rex" on BrickLink in less time than making this topic.
  13. Thanks for the review, mutley! I like all of the useful parts in this set (levers, hinges, dark bley battle droid torsos, dishes, etc.) and would definitely buy it if it was available to the public. It could use some printed parts, though (like its predecessor). Also, I like the comparison picture of all three mini sets so far. My current favorite is the Venator-class Republic Attack Cruiser. Overall, this is a good set, and I hope that these will be continued to be made (after the Republic Attack Gunship Brickmaster set).
  14. When it's my first time building a set, I just dump each bag in a separate pile. When I rebuild an old set, I sort by color, but usually I find that sorting by color makes it even harder to find a part, since the parts around the one you're looking for are the same color.
  15. I've found that LEGO sends free parts if you lost only 1-2 parts, and if it is your first two or so times getting a replacement part. If you get more than five or so, or you ordered parts twice already, you usually get charged (sometimes $5 USD for a single part!). I've already ordered some parts and got them for free, so I know.
  16. Isn't that one like ten years old?
  17. Yay! I can't wait to see it! But we already saw pictures of almost every part of the set.
  18. You already answered my question (your first answer is down there).
  19. And they're also made in China, and the leg and hips assembly is just one mold. But was the figure really CHROME gold, or pearl gold?
  20. I found some LEGO Games prototypes in this article (thanks to Brickset): http://www.brettspiel.co.uk/2009/07/lego-b...ith-cephas.html The LEGO die: The microfig: Lava Dragon: Enjoy!
  21. But your name only changed twice in two years.
  22. Actually, topics can be deleted. I've seen lots of spam topics that were deleted. Thanks for the pictures, anyways.
  23. To me, the RBR looks pretty cool, but I probably won't be able to get it if it costs over $100, and I think the people at the forum that the pictures were found at said that the set will cost around 250 Euros...
