  1. Awesome custom minifigs as usual, The Penguin! Commander Gree looks good. The only bad thing I can find is that his legs seem too plain. The cold assault droids are great, too. You hand-painted them really well. Do they have those three red arrows on their backs? By the way, I wouldn't recommend putting those guns on the SBDs; when I did that, a part of one of the hands of my SBD broke off (I got a replacement, though ).
  2. He can't; the moderators at Brickshelf decide when to publicize the folder. Here is a tutorial on how to deeplink images: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=18451
  3. If you are still here Natman, I would like to say good bye (I almost never read the community forum ). Of course, I'll remember to PM you on your birthday.
  4. Thanks for the review, Erdbeereis! It looks really shiny and great, even if it is plain. I might be able to get one. What did you buy to get yours? By the way, does it have the same chroming problems as the chrome stormie (some unchromed parts near the arm sockets and stuff)? That's probably because if the hands were chromed, the chrome would flake off over time from having items attached and taken off multiple times.
  5. Nice find, Darth Lion! It looks very interesting, with all of those LEGO sets and descriptions of the real thing. I'll try to get this book (along with the LEGO Book).
  6. Happy birthday Crystal! I wonder why someone would say happy birthday to you when you were only a member for one day (everyone ignored my birthday). And there were nine EB birthdays today! Although there was one person who just signed up to make a post and never went on again. There's also a person who signed up in November and never even posted!
  7. Thanks for the review! Wait...so $80 CAD is around $70 USD. I don't really see why people like this set that much. In my opinion this set is much more different than the Vestas set (I looked at all of the instructions books, and it looks really good), and doesn't have a motor. By the way, since this is an off-site review, it won't be indexed.
  8. I don't really know which ones are the best for these three, since usually all impulses/$6 USD sets are pretty good, and these are no exception. I wouldn't recommend getting Sports Car, since it is (IMO) really overpriced and has nothing special. If you can get only two, I would recommend Emerald Night and MMV.
  9. Those chrome weapons look awesome. I don't really like how "empty" the blade pack is, but the sci-fi and modern packs look really good. I wish I could get one, but my parents probably wouldn't let me, since they would say it's too expensive. Also, the glow-in-the-dark and Star Wars weapons look good.
  10. ADHO15, you're not supposed to post your Reviewer's Academy reviews until you make three and all of them pass.
  11. I looked at your links in the review, and I think that you are just copying the address bar of the picture. You have to right click the picture and click "copy image address". Then just click the button and paste the link.
  12. I prefer clear as opposed to solid stickers, since clear is made of plastic, while solid is a paperish plastic. Also, there won't be any color differences on a brick when a clear sticker is placed on it, while some solid stickers have a completely different shade of color than the brick that they are on.
  13. Some one already posted it on the last page (quote under here). Also, I sent an e-mail to LEGO a few days ago, and they replied with this:
  14. Can you guys stop going off-topic? Over 15 of the posts in this thread include something or is off-topic. I can't say that I like this MOC, as it is a bit plain and undetailed IMO. But it looks fine.
  15. Nice find, Shine! That's a really high-quality picture. I just wish that there were printed parts, as it looks really plain. By the way, you can see a reflection of the studio that the picture was taken in on the feet (the dishes).
  16. That was a good and funny review, EB News team! I hope to see more in the future! EDIT: By the way, you spelled Siegfried incorrectly around two times (once in the beginning, once in the end).
  17. Thanks for the review, KimT! I really like the look of this nice little set (I always like small sets similar to this ), but it is too expensive for me. If all of the parts were printed, then I would say the price would be just OK, but unfortunately, 8 pieces are not. However, I do like the greebles and the use of the trans-light blue tube as the engine. I hope to see more midi-scale sets in the future! By the way, what does the back of the box have? EDIT: I voted above average for this fine little set. EDIT II: Also, what's up with all of the random colors inside the set? It looks like LEGO was trying to get rid of some tan, yellow, red, and blue bricks/plates.
  18. Wait...does Squidman's Pitstop include 5 minifigures or 4? The description of it says "5 figurines." (which probably means 5 minifigures ), while the box says 4 minifigures. The impulse sets are on S@H for the U.S., too. Also, those collections are jokes. You only get $0.50 to $5 USD off (there's a CITY, Bionicle Glatorian/Legends, and Space Police one) from an $80 to $250 purchase. Only the Bionicle Glatorian Collection is a good deal ($5 off).
  19. No problem. Did you buy some WWII artifacts and antiques? And I think that over 5 people posted (on EuroBricks, just in different sections of the forum) about the Star Wars and Indiana Jones sets being available on S@H in the U.S.
  20. No, a chrome Vader was attached to the box as a special release promotion for Japan at a fair. $69 NZD or $69 USD? $69 NZD is equivalent to $45 USD. def's price is $75 USD. EDIT: I read a comment made by legoman in a different thread, and he said that it costs $70 NZD. So I'm guessing the price you said was in NZD...
  21. Finally they're here!
  22. Looks like lots of people are already a fan of your work, Hinckley! Congratulations on getting the position of LEGO master builder. So does that mean that you're going to be building some huge creations for a LEGOLAND Malaysia amusement park?
  23. Wait, what? Booger was talking about the new magnet set which includes a battle-damaged Darth Vader, a snowtrooper, and a shadow trooper. You must be talking about the Rogue Shadow, since you mentioned Juno Eclipse.
  24. Sharpies are a well known brand of permanent markers. What I was asking was what did you use to color the droids? EDIT: I just noticed that ADHO15 already answered your question in page 2. EDIT II: I also noticed that you already said what you used to color the droids in page 2 also. EDIT III: I'll just say you're welcome for thanking me.
  25. Sorry about ignoring what you said, booger540. Thanks for posting that, too. Otherwise I would have never known that it's up on S@H. I probably won't be getting that magnet set, but it does look nice. And legolandia, I would recommend using BrickLink's Star Wars minifig catalog to see all of the Star Wars minifigs that have been made. It is (in my opinion) much more detailed than minifigs.net. Also, welcome to EuroBricks!
