  1. I know; I used to think that they were both equal in size, but then I saw the AT-OT & Dropship on display at a LEGO Store, and it was huge (much larger than I expected)!
  2. Thanks for another fine review/restoration project, starstreak. As always, your pictures are great. This set doesn't look that appealing to me, but that's probably just because I don't like Technic.
  3. It was probably removed by moderators.
  4. Wow, nice comic! I really enjoyed reading it. Just one thing - one of the green bars of text wasn't translated into English. It says "Nach 10 minuten..." which I'm guessing means "Ten minutes later..." in English.
  5. Here are some of the most expensive new parts (though some people just overprice some items): http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?viewFr...ort=B&sz=25 And some of the most expensive used parts (again, some people may just overprice the items): http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?viewFr...ort=B&sz=25 Also, welcome to EuroBricks.
  6. I think that there is a review of the Dino 2010 set, 7296 Dino 4WD Trapper / 7475 Fire Hammer vs. Mutant Lizards, but I don't know if it's a complete review or not: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?...ost&p=37776
  7. Did you even read my post (and everyone else's)? It is a real set, but probably only 32 of these exist. Also, the Inside Tour costs around $1,500... It would be awesome if more would be made and be sold to the public, but that will probably never happen.
  8. I like how this set has four minifigures instead of three (Gary counts as one, since things like mouse droids do). I might not pick up this magnet set, but it does look pretty good. I just don't like how Gary has no eye printing on the cherries piece...
  9. Probably not. I'm guessing that only 32 will ever be made. It looks really nice, though. EDIT: Nice find, too.
  10. Yeah, and anyways, we already saw the reviews of the Pirate Tank (7753) and the Home One Mon Calamari Star Cruiser (7754).
  11. Nice find, Navy Trooper Fenson. $10 is a much better deal than $13 (or was it $12?). Now I'll probably be able to get two of them (one to open, one to keep MISB)!
  12. Congratulations, svelte, Jansued, and Oky Wan! Everyone made some really good MOCs (at least probably better than mine ) and I hope to see more in the next contest.
  13. Here's a picture of the Valley Fair one: Those holes you see on the bottom left corner are the holes where the parts are. The words up there say "Hat or hair + 1 Accessory + (head) + (torso) + (legs and hips) = (minifig)" and "each minifigure consists of 5 elements".
  14. Thanks for the review, TheBrickster. This set seems really empty in my opinion. It looks like a large version of the Imperial Dropship (to me at least). The alien (Frenzy) looks too bland (only one color), and the printing on the torso doesn't look that good. Frenzy is actually my least favorite alien. I also don't like how almost all of the Space Police sets have no actual weapons. For example, this set does have weapons, but they are part of the ship, and you have to pull them off to use them. EDIT: I voted below average (2) for this set.
  15. This one also comes with a special carrying case thing that can hold the three minifigures. This thing just started this month, as I saw it on June 17 and the July 2009 LEGO Store calendar has more info on it (for some reason the June 2009 one doesn't). I forgot to check what parts were are the Valley Fair, CA store, since I was too busy filling my PaB cup. EDIT: Fixed my post to make what I was trying to say clearer.
  16. Really? My currency converter gadget on Windows Vista says that 25 Euros is around $40 CAD. EDIT: Look at this, too: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&cli...mp;oq=&aqi=
  17. I just found something on my LEGO Store Calendar (July 2009): For July 5, it says you can get the new LEGO Catalog. If you look closely at the picture of the catalog, you can see the golden minifigure keychain on the left of all of the aliens. There is some text on the minifigure that I can barely make out, but it looks like it says "FREE". Does anyone know what that might mean? EDIT: Here is an enlarged version of the catalog picture (scanned it myself). You can see the gold minifig keychain.
  18. I just want to point out that even though the large Castle chess set was reviewed, the set number still says "xxxx" instead of "852293". Also, I think that the name of the set is "Castle Giant Chess Set". Quote included below:
  19. Wow, nice work, Guss! This MOC is very detailed and huge! My favorite part is probably the pool of water and the vegetable patch.
  20. I just found a picture of Squidman's Pitstop from zephyr1934's BrickShelf gallery (looks like it was displayed at BrickWorld): And the box art: EDIT: Fixed a typo and deeplinked the first picture.
  21. Oh, and here's a thought: Do you think that the hands aren't chromed because they might flake off over time from holding weapons and stuff? The chrome gold minifig keychain doesn't have chromed hands, either.
  22. Thanks for the pictures, KimT. I guess that's why it isn't that expensive (only the visible parts are chromed). I'll probably be getting one or two of them, though. By the way, where did you find yours?
  23. I don't know if he's allowed to, since you have to pay for BrickJournal. svelte, did the preliminary models look extremely better than the final versions of SPIII sets?
  24. If you are talking about that scooter thing by Arealight, it's going to be available from BrickForge soon. EDIT: These scooters, right?: (Picture from Hinckley)
  25. For some reason, it's listed as new, at least for the U.S.
