Wow, three people quoted Oky Wan's post, so there's now four of the exact same picture on the exact same page. After seeing these pictures, I can say that the Tantive IV looks awesome.
-
That exclusive Comic Con set looks pretty cool. I bet it would go well with the real Republic Dropship with AT-OT set. Now I'm just hoping that someone will do a detailed review with a complete scan of the instructions.
-
WOW! Those are some awesome minifigs! Oky Wan basically summed up all the comments I was going to make.
-
It seems just about right, since 98 GBP is around $164 USD.
-
That's probably because they're UCS sets. Does anyone think that Captain Antilles' face printing looks evil? Because if you look at this picture, his face looks like >:) It would have been better if the eyebrows were changed a bit.

I checked my Target today, and all they have are: Tower Raid for $20 (originally $30) Mission 4: Speedboat Rescue for $28 (originally $40) Ice Rally for $10 (originally $15) I would've gotten Tower Raid if I was a Castle fan, but I'm going to save my money for Star Wars sets.

This thread has some info on the modular houses: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?...&hl=modular cottonwood, can you also update the link in your first post? It's a broken link right now.

6 PM PST (Comic Con is in California)? That's like 7 hours (but probably have to wait longer, since people will have to upload the pictures and stuff). I can't wait to see the minifigs, though.

A few months ago I just broke off the metal loop on my Royal Guard keychain, and then took the head off (which reveals a long metal rod). You can then just cut off the metal rod and it will look just like a normal minifigure (but only the head can come off), except that it's chrome.

Wow, the RBR looks pretty cool, and $150 is a great deal. At least Captain Antilles is smiling instead of frowning. Unfortunately I won't be able to get it... I really like those "collectible display cases". I wish that they would be released to the public. I've also deeplinked the pictures (but the credit goes to LEGOscum): I agree with everything you said!

I was browsing the LEGO frontpage early today, and I saw that there is a product recall for the 8879 Power Functions IR Speed Remote Control for people in the U.S. and Canada. Apparently it "poses a thermal burn hazard to users if the batteries inside overheat." I just thought that everyone who owns one should know. Here is the link to the page: http://service.lego.com/en-US/productrecal...ntrol%20US.aspx EDIT: A picture of the remote control:

Ah, I remembered when this happened a few months ago to me. I freaked out, thinking that this was permanent, and I spent like ten minutes looking for how to change it back to normal. I finally found that options button by myself at the top right and fixed it.

Here's an online link to Target's LEGO page if anyone's interested: http://www.target.com/LEGO-Toy-Toys/b?ie=U...mp;node=1038710 I'm not completely sure, but you might also be able to buy online to get the discount (at least for California), since the words "10% off toy orders over $50" appear on the products that you can only buy online. And does the LEGO clearance at Target have good deals?
-
I don't recall getting any so far. Hopefully I will get some in the future.

I know that she isn't supposed to have smooth hair, but isn't this more of a "mis-mold" instead of a "misprint"? I wonder how this could have happened, though? Maybe the smooth hair was a prototype that accidentally got into a set?
-
How exactly is that a "misprint"? They're both probably two different molds.

Do you think they should make a Star Trek Theme
ILikePi replied to Go Cubs Go!'s topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I voted no because I barely know anything about Star Trek. Thanks for the picture of that line, CP5670. -
Wow! This MOC is one of the best that I have ever laid my eyes on! The size and detail make it so awesome. The castle walls are very detailed, the ground is colorful and bumpy, the rocks on the castle are nicely done, and just about everything else is amazing. How long did it take to make this fine castle?
-
Is this for the U.S.? And LEGO Stores have a better LEGO selection than Target.
-
Hopefully there's nothing exclusive so we won't complain. Thanks for the pic, though. The box looks really good, even though there aren't that many colors. I'm guessing that the set will cost $20?

Japanese Mini-Figure 35th Anniversary Celebration!
ILikePi replied to def's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Wow, those are some great deals! I especially love the "Clone Trooper Platoon". 35 normal Clone Wars clone troopers are worth around $80 USD. If you try entering, good luck, def, and thanks for sharing this with us! -
That's an amazing ship, Erdbeereis! I really like the smooth and futuristic look of the ship (all of the tiles) and how you added some cheese slopes inside the wings to add some color. Great interior, too! Thanks for pointing that out (otherwise I wouldn't have seen it)! That's a funny "easter egg" you added there, Erdy.

Wow, that's an awesome vintage LEGO collection, Polish Guy! Those non-System LEGO cars are cool, as well as the garages. Are the cars made of plastic, or metal? It's weird how Modulex ended up as an architectural sign company. But it's cool how they mention that they were founded by the LEGO Group. Anyways, I like how there are Modulex brick-tiles (a piece the size of a brick, but with a flat top). It would be great if LEGO decided to make this piece. Also, that LEGO jumbo brick is so cool that I can't find another synonym of awesome/cool to describe it. Do you remember how you got it? And is the bottom just like a normal LEGO brick (can it fit with other jumbo bricks?)?

It is old news. We already got a review of it, and there was a thread about it. Looks like you don't check LEGOshop.com and the Eurobricks General Discussion forum a lot. The price iamded stated is in New Zealand Dollars, not USD.
