Wow, seeing an actual picture of the minifigure makes it look even more awesome (I only saw a 3D digital version of it before)! Now I have to convince my mom to pre-order it in September, along with the LEGO Book. One thousandth post!

I agree with Spyder. It all depends on what you want more: a good set, or good minifigures. The Home One has new, amazing, and currently exclusive minifigures, but is pretty overpriced. The RBR's price is on the spot, and the set looks really good. However, there seems to be only a small amount of space inside the set, and only comes with one exclusive figure. Good luck on picking a set!

I'm sorry to hear about your problem with the helmets. I might get Endor Battle tomorrow on Tuesday (yay! ), so I'll post another reply to this thread if/when I get the set and tell you if the helmets are like yours. (never mind, my LEGO Store didn't have the set) If this happens to all helmets, it's probably because it's made in China. Believe me, items made in China tend to be lower quality and cheaper to produce, so that is why printed items (like Mola Ram's helmet, the Endor rebel helmets, the new Ewoks, cows) are made there. Of course, I'm not saying China is a bad country. I'm Chinese. If this doesn't happen to all helmets, you can always get a replacement at LEGO's customer service section. EDIT: fixed a broken emoticon... EDIT: fixed a mistake...

If you have to take 5 off: Hailfire Droid and Spider Droid (a bit small for a $20 set IMO, but a pretty good battle pack) Separatist Spider Droid (nothing good except for Commander Fox) Droid Gunship (no good figures, but the set looks pretty good) Corporate Alliance Tank Droid (too small and overpriced) Hyena Droid Bomber (looks odd) and if you have to take 8 off: Hailfire Droid and Spider Droid Separatist Spider Droid Droid Gunship Corporate Alliance Tank Droid Hyena Droid Bomber V-19 Torrent (pretty overpriced, and only comes with one minifigure) AT-TE Walker (a bit overpriced and color is bland IMO) Republic Attack Shuttle or MagnaGuard Starfighter (no comment ) I would listen to some other people before you kick some sets off your list, though.

Wow, your car is exploding with all of those battle packs! Did anyone give you a funny look when you came out of the store with all of the sets? But why would you spend over $10,000 (tax is around $1000...) on the exact same set? It's going to be really boring sorting out all of those parts and digging for the minifigures. By the way, what are you going to do with all the pieces? Also, if you get any misprints, can you post a picture of them? They can't, since they do not have the license to Star Wars minifigures just by themselves. The closest they can get to that are magnet sets.

Thanks for the review! I don't understand why this set costs $80 USD. It looks like all you can do is fire flick-fire missiles, transport the crystals in a never-ending circle, and fling rocks at the buildings with the large rock monster. The set also looks really empty... I would much rather get a set like Temple of the Crystal Skull (which I did today for 50% off), since it has more play features, and around 300 more pieces, for the same price.
-
Today I got a Temple of the Crystal Skull for 50% off (now $40, normal price $80). The odd thing was that the price tag still said that it was $68, but when I scanned it, it showed it as $40. Also, Flickr member chantastic found Jungle Cutters and Speedboat Rescues on clearance $10 each. http://www.flickr.com/photos/chantastic/3774656905/

BrickLink is your friend. It's a new piece, by the way. All I got for my 13th birthday was General Grievous (on sale for $30 USD), two Public Works impulse sets (on sale for $1), and the LEGO Star Wars 10th Anniversary Poster (free). You're so spoiled. Seriously, though, you got $843 USD worth of stuff (not including tax). That's how much I would probably spend on LEGO for 3 years.
-
I got a Temple of the Crystal Skull for 50% off at Target today! A few days ago, I also got a Squidman Escape.

I think that over 2,000 or so members either never made a post, stopped going on Eurobricks, or are banned... Anyways, this is a good sign, as the LEGO community is now expanding, and more people are coming out of their dark ages!

Happy birthday Natman! I hope you get like 10,000 Tusken warriors!
-
Oh, I see what's going on (I also did some experimenting with the "numbers" in the address bar )...

You're replying to a post that's over 4 years old. By the way, I think that "midi" should be added to the glossary; it means a scale-size that's larger than mini, but smaller than minifig-scale.

Stop bragging. I think that this should be merged with the mega-topic about tags, which can be found here.

Argh, I really have to read all of the chapters completely sometime...I probably skipped over half of the story, and I'm still behind on chapter 7 or so. By the way, about how many chapters are there going to be, and how long is this going to last? -
All replies are suddenly "branching tree" variety?

Oh, sorry. -

Oh, I think I found out why this happens randomly! Some links to other topics on EuroBricks have the display mode placed into the link. Here's an example of a link that would change your display mode to "outline": http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?...p;mode=threaded As you can see, the link has an extra extension that says "&mode=threaded". That's probably why it happens randomly to people; they click links to topics on Eurobricks that have the extension in it. -
LEGO probably doesn't consider the Midi-scale Millennium Falcon as a tenth anniversary set. I can't wait either! It'll be useful for LEGO Star Wars Reviewer's Academy reviewers, since they can use the site as another link to the product. It's also great to see LEGO finally make an index of their products (at least for LEGO Star Wars).
-
You're welcoming someone who's been on Eurobricks longer than you? EDIT: Oh, I see what happened.
-
Wow! That looks great! I agree with def; the use of the ball sockets for the leg joints is a great idea! About how long and wide is it?
-
Actually, people do sell Brickmaster magazines on BrickLink. Just do a search for "brickmaster" in "catalog items", and you'll end up with this: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?q=brickmaster The magazines are at the bottom half of the search. They're also very cheap (only around $1 USD each!).

Congratulations to our favorite walrus and Eurobricks's own bug murderer slayer (read this if you don't know what I mean)! By the way, what was your old rank? I must have been brainwashed or something after you got promoted. EDIT: fixed a messed up code thingy...

Happy birthday dunamis! I always love reading your great reviews. Also, happy birthday to filefolders, who hit the big 100 (three digits!) today! (that's not your real birthday, right?) Unfortunately, filefolders is now too old for those sets.

More new products from Shop@Home (2009 later half)

The telescope already exists in dark brown. And please don't use font size seven for something that isn't that important (we got orange telescopes in two Agents 2.0 sets and no one was excited).I really like those Christmas themed items. The candle seems interesting, but I've never heard of an "advent candle" before. The small Christmas set with Santa is pretty cool. It's a good way to get Santa, and it looks like it comes with a nice printed tile. The ornaments are weird... EDIT: Added my thoughts on the Christmas themed items. EDIT: Fixed a grammar mistake... -
I found a picture of the inside of the Brickmaster Comic-Con 2009 set on The Brothers Brick (the picture belongs to Yupa-sama on Flickr): It looks like it includes: 20009 AT-TE Walker (July-August Brickmaster exclusive) mini Republic Dropship pieces in a zipper bag mini Republic Dropship instructions July-August Brickmaster magazine You might want to add this picture to the news topic, KimT (other pictures of the set in the news topic just show the outside and the built models).
