  1. Wouldn’t call Land Rover a competitor of Lamborghini. I’m just waiting to see the official pics of the model before I make decisions on if I think it’s the right colour or not. The Land Rover works well in the green.
  2. Only the Lambo is of current interest to me. Got some new diffs and small wheel arch panels in the post though
  3. if that happens I'll most probably stick to buying the occasional official set and spending more of my money on my other hobby ... weekend toy / sportscar
  4. It could be TLG being concerned about Their Porsche licence. In the world of computer games Porsche are well known for being very restrictive on licensing.
  5. @Technicallism - you miss read my post. I know Geneva is cancelled as I work for a well known Car company. What I was saying is that I expect Lego and Lamborghini would work out a new way of releasing the car or a teaser like the other car companies are doing as the Geneva show isn’t on. We’ve just released a car via YouTube
  6. 15: 10 22: 6 19: 4 4: 3 9: 2 8: 1 Some great entries by all, and I have to admit difficult to just select 6 great models. Good luck to everyone.
  7. As I said earlier it’s supposed to be Geneva motorshow this week so I would have at least expected a teaser from Lego like they did with the Chiron. So I assume like other manufacturers they’re making new plans. Morgan has been driving its new car Back to Malvern for its launch and a car company I may know well (hint) is showing its very special car at 8:30am GMT on its YouTube channel. So I’d say watch this space I’d hope we’d get something from Lego and Lamborghini this week.
  8. So I saw online that Lego are saying the Lego House Tree of Creativity exclusive set is to be discontinued and a new set released end of May this year. Any ideas what it’ll be?
  9. I thought we’d all worked out the Lamborghini is going to be the Sian. Especially as Lego used exactly the same image (but in Lego form) as Lamborghini did when they unveiled it at the Geneva motorshow. oh and while talking about Geneva it was supposed to be next week but has been cancelled because of the Coronavirus. All the car companies are now working out new strategies for the cars they were due to launch. If Lego was due to do a new teaser (parts in a display case like they did with the Chiron) or a full mode reveal it won’t be at Geneva anymore.
  10. @JamesJT as Rudivdk could you just modify the pdf to include details of what to swap out?
  11. I’ll wait for the one with the black bits to be available then before buying
  12. Great B model. Do your instructions include the further ones where you’ve used parts from other sets. Looks like you’ve used the roof parts from the corvette to get your bonnet stripes :)
  13. I’d assume in the next few hours if @Jim decides to close it this evening. I believe he lives in Europe.
  14. Looks like it’s straight out of Fury Road
  15. Looks great, I could see some wasteland warrior searching for a pool of water in this mad trike
  16. @Bartybum the problem with the black ones is people on BrickLink only had single wings and wanted 3. The only other “new” bits on this build are the flames and the head on the bonnet. Everything else is from my collection. also with the deadline being Monday it’s a bit late to change my mind now ?
  17. Thanks everyone. @HorcikDesigns yes unfortunately the blades I wanted were very expensive and hard to find so these had to do. I like the shape but the colour could be better. I’m going to try and carry over as much of the body as possible but all the interior will be fresh for the standard Austin
  18. All finished I'm going to try and finish the Stud.io file over the next couple of weeks and then I’ll start on something @I_Igor will like ... converting it back into an FX4
  19. 7. Taxidermy As the world descended into chaos a London Cabbie modified his trusty Austin FX4 Black Taxi. Adding a big flame spitting V6, heavy duty suspension, ramming spikes and a rear platform with a harpoon he set off to explore the wilderness Tech Specs: 2 x XL PF motor driving the rear wheels PF Servo motor steering PF Rechargeable battery Sbrick controller Fake V6 Fully independent suspension Approx 1:13 scale Stud.io model available
  20. So a couple of final details ... managed to squeeze a simple dashboard in which was good as it also provided a screen rail to separate the engine from cabin better ... and also an add of a custom sticker. I’ll hope weather and light is good tomorrow for taking final photos and doing a video.
  21. The Charger will be the Fast & Furious Technic car we're supposedly getting
  22. Looks great, youve got some great solutions to the shapes in there
  23. Looking forward to seeing what the rest of your group created
  24. It’s a pure copy of the film car. Amazing that it is I can’t see how this would be valid as a competition entry.
