  1. Looks good, very clean. so you decided to use liftarms instead of a panel for the doors. I like how you squeezed the anniversary liftarms in
  2. 17. Monochrome Roadster A modern classic roadster, styled to be a mix of old and new. Front engined, rear wheel drive with a long bonnet and a short rear overhang. Features: Straight Six Direct linkage steering Suspension in rear axle Interior with Centre console Roll hoops for safety protection Specs: Length - 34 studs Width - 15 studs Height - 11 studs (Main body 6 studs) Parts - 611 Photos: Video: WIP Thread:
  3. Pretty good little chassis there, but it’s a flat 4 not a v4 you’ve built.
  4. I agree the white seat panels on the nose don’t work. I’m not sure if it the image (the one from the front 3/4 view) but to me the vehicle looks too long and tall compared to its width. I think the front overhang is definitely a couple of studs too long. What does it look like if you do a pure side view ? the back end looks great though oh and referring back to an earlier comment ... I’m well aware Tata own Jaguar, I work in the industry:)
  5. But that would have been true for the Porsche ( 265/35 ZR 20 tyres on 9.5 J × 20 wheels at the front, 325/30 ZR 21 tyres on 12.5 J × 21 wheels at the rear) and Bugatti (285/30 R20 ZR tyres on the front, with 355/25 R21 ZR at the rear). in fact most high performance cars will be like this
  6. The rumour was the same olive green as the Land Rover, but resurrecting the old metallic green would be more correct for this if it is the Sian as the launch car was metallic green with gold wheels.
  7. I think we need to be careful of the conversation here, we shouldn’t be talking about clone brands in the forum. @Jim - thoughts please ?
  8. That’s a great way of representing the diff. i wouldn’t use BrickLink at all myself at the moment, which did dictate my TC18 build. You just don’t know what each persons restrictions are with Covid.
  9. Not having followed this thread in detail but what are the 4 white clutch gears in a row for?
  10. I don’t think they’ve made anything. I think this is just a computer image. In software you can easily make impossible connections so placing Porsche rims on Bugatti hubs can happen in a computer.
  11. But to me this looks like a computer render, so these parts might not exist in the real world! There is always Additive Manufacturing / 3D printing / Rapid Prototyping (depending on what you want to call it) that could make some parts. As I said it’s not the colour we’re expecting and it’s got a lot of new panels on it which I wouldn’t expect. I spot 3 new panels, front wheel arch and 2 on the rear arch. So that makes 6 new moulds. And it’s on Porsche wheels which look nothing like the Sian wheels. So I just don’t think this is representative of what we’re going to get and we should just all be patient and wait for official news. It shouldn’t be long now considering all the other Lego releases recently.
  12. @amorti the reason I said this was fake as that I don’t believe this is the real Lego model or based off it. But Instead someone’s MOC.
  13. I think it’s fake, it’s not green which I thought was semi officially confirmed and it’s got too many new panels. If you think the wheels will be new I’d be surprised to have more than 1 new panel too
  14. Love the chassis work, some very good touches. Is the body going to open up like a funny car?
  15. So build is underway and found a few errors in my CAD but nothing critical, just mainly missing pins. Here’s the Chassis shot
  16. You could use the new diff and use a gear mounted direct to a transverse engine to drive it and then a second gear off the back mounted longitudinally to drive the rear axle ... I might have to play with knocking this up out of interest
  17. No doing a Working transverse I4 in this scale would be very difficult, I think it would end up too tall
  18. General rule for most design is try to limit to 3 colours in proximity to each other. I’d do LBG for your side inlets as it matches the thin liftarm. As to the main body keep the Blue and Black
  19. I do love a Delta Integrale and I do think your chassis looks like a good start, but I assume you’ve put a bigger engine in it as the real car only had an transverse I4. looking forward to seeing a Delta in this scale
  20. I don’t think @Jim has a definitive amount of System you’re allowed. I think like most things it needs to look like a Technic model and not something made or covered in system bricks
  21. @Limga I was planning on doing exactly that. Build my full car and a second assembly of the rolling chassis. I assume that’s ok @Jim
  22. Looks good overall but as has been commented I think the front is too slabby, the nose of an AMG is very low and curved
  23. I think you’re right. It looks like the body is widest in line with the seat back and then narrows again towards the rear of the car. cool looking hot rod in that pic
