  1. Yes the Forma project was a tester for a kinetic sculpture. It didn’t sell that well, I bought one and I like it and think it’s a shame that it hasn’t continued. But you have to remember that companies are always after good returns and perhaps from its sales figures and feedback they just didn’t see it being a new line. I think all those you’ve mentioned above would fall into the same category as I think they’d be too niche and only bought buy a limited audience. For the gbc stuff remember there are marble run toys being sold already (at least in the U.K.) and I bet TLG would look at the sale of those.
  2. Get yourself a flikr account, one of the easiest ways of posting photos
  3. It was blue on my iPhone when I did the VR app
  4. The unveiling today by Lamborghini was for a new road car the Huracan Evo Spyder. A few of us only wondered if they’d use it to give some details on the Lego model too. I think we’re all sure it’s the Sian so no convertible roof.
  5. Well it’s a manual not an auto so it’s fine
  6. Well perhaps it’s got too much Classic British sports car in it ;) ... it seemed more appropriate than having it on the forklift.
  7. It’ll be the standard Sian and I’d expect the only functions to be like the Chiron, with a gearbox and a deployable wing. I am curious if the hybrid system is going to be represented somehow
  8. As I’d finished my entry early (for a change) and I’m waiting for some lovely Star Wars sets to arrive, I thought I’d build something that was left on the shelf unopened. Thanks Eurobricks and @Jim for running these competitions
  9. Not heard it called a Froot here in the U.K. we’ve used Frunk in the car company I work at. Ours tend to be a random mix of British and American names for bits, I’ve never worked out if there’s any logic to it at my company!
  10. The accepted term for a storage space under the bonnet or hood at the front of a car is a frunk, well that’s what we call it at the company I work at.
  11. @Jundis I’d be surprised if it was the 2+2GT or the replacement for the Aventador. It’s more likely a version of the Urus or Huracan. There’s a rumour of a road car based off the Huracan race cars, or at least something more extreme than the current road offering
  12. I think the brakes are made from https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=93273#T=C and https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=2540#T=C both in Red with a "Lamborghni" sticker on it. they would then be mounted off droid arms or something like that
  13. Only just seen this thread, cool little hotrod I may have to built it too
  14. @ctx1769 it’s more likely that it was an agreement between TLG and Lamborghini to replicate the launch car colours. Also makes it more recognisable and better for promotion photos. @Technicallism the Sian has a wing like the Chiron, it sits flush with the body work when not deployed. So I’d expect this to be copied but the shape of it will potentially be challenging.
  15. So it’ll be a busy day watching the internet on Thursday. Shame I’ve already got people to buy me the A-Wing and SW Helmet collection for my birthday this year. Oh well it’ll just have to be a present to myself.
  16. Yes a slight tweak of colour, hue, saturation and it’s completely different
  17. a snapshot from my phone of the video on the website. This is the Lego model, you can see the small black panel and also the brakes are made up of a 1x4 curved tile with a 1x2 plate with bar
  18. It’s definitely a Sian, the black small panel behind the wheel in black is the give away. The video on the Lego website is wider and shows more of the car than the video above so it’s meant to represent the show car which was mainly green with gold wheels and the occasional black accent. I’m sold but then I always was!
  19. Just seen that on Facebook and Lego Store ... so I’d guess a reveal soon. so gold wheels definitely makes it the Sian, couldn’t quite make out the body colour in the shot of the model ... got to go to Teams meetings now (working from home) https://www.lego.com/en-gb/themes/technic/lamborghini?cmp=social-ngqe3n-SHOP
  20. I’d heard the Aventador replacement was delayed a few years, possibly 2024, but I may be wrong. I would expect a derivative of an existing car. Lots of car companies (At least in the U.K.) are slowly heading back to work but with heavily reduced production speed to maintain social distancing. Update : Sounds as if it’s likely to be 7th May for the new Lambo release and likely to either be an update to the Urus or more likely a special of the Huracan (Road car based on their Evo race car). But I don’t think this changes the logic that we think the Lego model is the Sian (exactly the same teaser image from Lambo and Lego) ... but I may be completely wrong.
  21. When are we expecting the last of the H2 sets to be shown, a lot of the other themes are having released
  22. You’ve got some good shapes going on there and I think the colour scheme helps, it’s recognisable as the GT. I do like your windscreen solution both the a-posts and the lower screen rail. looking forward to seeing what you manage to do in the engine bay.
