  1. I don't want to veer too off-topic, but the retail catalog is a catalog for toy retailers to see which LEGO sets they want to stock and such. It is usually seen by smaller toy retailers, and we get descriptions from people who visit their local toy store and are allowed to see the sets by that retailer.
  2. Yeah, the info for LEGO is usually never correct when it comes to future stuff on Wikipedia. They didn't even add a source. I'd disregard that.
  3. Hmm, I'm curious about the Rhino figure. If anyone can snag a picture of that.
  4. Don't want to veer off topic, but may you post descriptions of the sets in the Movie theme topic? I'm really curious about how they'll look like. Thanks!
  5. Wow, yeah, that sounds awful.
  6. Oh, like a Unicorn Kitty! That make sense now. That's odd.
  7. Those have been out for a couple weeks now on Amazon, and it's really nothing special as it says "for solicitation use only", which means that those aren't the final covers.
  8. I don't even know why that's there. Doesn't look like Uni-Kitty from a quick Google search, though.
  9. Holy cajoli, they knocked out A LOT of projects. That really blows. As much as the Exo-Suit impresses, I really wanted the Minishops, Galaxy Patrol, and Portal sets. Oh well.
  10. '2011lilibetho10', who tends to get his hands on figures early, listed the brick-compatible (non-LEGO) Hot Wheels on eBay. The interesting part is that he also include a figure in the listing which seems to be a new Luchador figure, and I'm guessing it's from The LEGO Movie CMF Series...
  11. Did they have some 2014 City Police sets on display here?
  12. Well, 'Itaria No Shintaku' who saw the latest retail catalog said this... Basically, the set was kinda shown in the catalog, but they didn't show the set itself to keep it a surprise or something.
  13. Ha! Reminds me of my posts on a LEGO The Simpsons topic here back in 2009! Also, if the House set is in the retailer catalog, it must mean it's not a D2C. Drat. I was hoping it would be like $180-$200, but if it's wide release, it will be like $70-$130. I doubt they'd pull a Millennium Falcon and make it $150 and a wide release.
  14. The Euro prices aren't that. They translate to... $20 $30 $50 $70 But with the biggest set, a lot of $60 sets like Black Gate were $70 on the site, so it MAY be $60.
  15. There hasn't been any 2014 Castle rumors yet. If there will be sets in 2014 (which I personally think is unlikely), they'd be coming out in the summer. So, we'll see.
  16. Well, to be fair, I personally think that one of the major flaws of these sets are that they're lacking playability. My favorite play-feature from all four of this year's sets is the little swinging feature in the $20 set. The rest of the play-features are very standard. I guess the one in the biggest set with the rotating wall is decent, but I've seen that one done many times.
  17. If it's a summer theme, the polybags are listed online in the beginning of June, so it's safe to say that this theme won't be getting any polybags this year.
  18. Oh, no, it's not larger. I'm just going crazy. Move along people! I still think the color variation is for the Junior sets, though. A lot of the "toddler" Batman toys I see are in that color.
  19. I'm 90% sure that's the Junior set version. The larger mask is for safety reasons with younger children.
  20. I think LEGO can't do SW CMFs as it is in there license agreement that they can't make individual "action figure" toys, which counts as minifigures. However, they can have promotional sets like that.
  21. Based on the Euro prices, which are usually the same as the US prices, they're all of those, except Dol Guldur Battle is $70.
  22. Well, interesting! I'm not really into LEGO Star Wars, but I like the visor printing, as it looks cartoon-y.
  23. I feel you. This is my most anticipated theme for 2014, and probably my most hyped up theme since the Toy Story 3 wave of sets in 2010. I love the look of the Ned and Homer figures! I'm starting to wonder if LEGO or Fox will do a special announcement for this license like LEGO did with the LOTR/Hobbit license in December 2011. If they do, we'll see official pictures soon. And, I really don't see why they wouldn't. It would be good publicity as it's bound to be featured on non-AFOL sites.
