    How did you expect LEGO to actually do these? This seems like the perfect way to keep them accurate to the TV show and to keep the costs down. If they did it as minifigure heads, it wouldn't look right as the noses really can't be done (among other things). Even if they did have regular minifigure heads, I'm sure the style wouldn't fit with the other minifigures (think of the Clone Wars figures), so it's not like the heads could be used in any City setting or what not. I'm sure the heads will be the only non-traditional minifigure-like thing in this line. Also, I actually don't really want a "fat" torso for Homer. I think it would look odd with him. Belly printing would be just fine.

    I can tell just from the picture that it can't be. Think of the Toy Story figures, like Woody... But, like I always say- only time will tell.

    True. I hope they just scaled down just a little bit. But, I'm pretty satisfied with the current look. So glad we're getting Ned!

    Well, what I'm saying is that I believe LEGO is under contract to not reveal anything unti the studio says they can.

    Indeed, but I believe the movie company itself has an embargo for picture releases to avoid spoilers and such.

    I don't watch the show, but that's really cool of Disney to do. Wonder if it will air on Cartoon Network or Disney XD.

    Well well well... Been looking at the prelims recently, and the sets are half and half for me. Really, I love the Beach House set- it looks like a cuter and more City-looking version of the 2012 Creator one with different colors. I still like the look of the Creator version more, but this one is (hopefully) much cheaper. eXtremely excited (sorry my phone is whacking out) to get the smallest sets, and the Animal Packs look cute, too. I'm a bit underwhelmed by the News Van set, as it looks a lot like the 2012 Camper set, but it looks like there's a male minidoll in it. To be honest, those farm sets look a lot like the Horse Friends sets from 2012- meh. ... So, yeah, I forgot to post about the Juice Bar set. Essentially, it's another one of the $30ish buildings- and it is very basic (most likely because I saw prelims) and isn't even on a beach!

    Yeah, the Lifegaurd set looks great with the Dolphin, umbrella, and the overall design. But, that Lemonade Stand... not only do we get that moped and a Friends helmet, but those printed 1x1 round tiles... That Lamb set is the weakest of the three. I do like the inclusion of the spray bottle piece, though.

    Well, when it comes to sets on upcoming movies, the sets usually are not shown- even in preliminary catalogs. The just list a name (usually "[movie name] set x") and a price. That's how it seems to be with this, and how it was with stuff like Iron Man 3 sets, Lone Ranger, ect.

    I'm sure we'll aee the Tri Fighter and Police Gunship later in October, as that's when we saw last year's retailer exclusives.

    The first one says "Nindroid" and the second says "General Cryptor". Yeah, it is the same as the Lone Ranger one. It's supposedly has a part in the TV show, though.

    I like your thinking. Heck, if they didn't have so many Marvel sets next year, I'd love to have a set based on the new Hulk and the Agent of S.M.A.S.H. TV show. But nooooo, we have to get three Spidey sets.

    Wow, that's freakin' beautiful! Holy... wow! LEGO has topped what they did with the AUJ box arts... Where did you find that?

    Yeah, they usually get released on S@H the last few days of the December, but start to appear in stores like Toys"R"Us around mid-December.
