Looks like a Zoid to me. Very cool MOC, great technique, it is really posable but still looks sturdy enough to withstand "play".

Love the band, love the sound! I also love the look and the entire video. I have got to re-condition a spectrum zapper into a lazergun. (I am not action regulator for nothing!) Trivia: The bald guy is Grant Morrison, comic book writer of great talent.

Another for the pink star. It is a good thing that more girls are joining even more proof that I am not alone

Eurobricks: Uniting LEG Fans around the world...
Peppermint_M replied to Shadows's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Manly LEGs are Manly. Everyone loves straps and strapping and suchlike, as long as there is a safe word... Blue jeans and knee pads are always a good look. -
Can I get an Elflands people? We gave up on figuring such things from throwaway comments after the Fantasy Castle "map" displayed an "Elf Lands" in one corner.
-
My position exactly. Tool and brick detail, the many weapons with the nice paint application. I treat them the same as "custom" products.

It's a rare occurance I know, but every now and then I do think of something to build with a Star Wars theme. I think this is the fourth? (possibly). Who knows, maybe The Master will face off against some other Star Wars faces?
-
Thanks Chaps. Fangy, all that Sluban There was a terminal lack of any building toys in any of the places I went, that was just the infusion I needed
-
A preview set would be most welcome I hope they turn up in the UK sooner rather than later.

The News (I knew I could dig out a link somewhere) Mr May is at the Stig Barn at this moment. The three of them looked a bit crowded at the fence when I built the scene.
-
Well, I read in the news that a new Stig was being sought at the Stig Farm. No pictures were forthcoming so I made my own in Lego.

In a galaxy far far away The Master duels a dark character on a narrow walkway. It is a forunate thing that his sky metal blade is made from something called "Phrik". As The Master travels through the Lego themes he comes across Star Wars. I am buildig a few more as I think of them. This is the Third so far. The Master vs the Ninja Vampires The Master on the Path

New Lego Shop in Westfields (London)
Peppermint_M replied to Duke's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Congratulations on the job. In the current financial climate *waffle blah rubarb...* Behind the scenes would include stock yes? I wonder if it will match the Cardiff store opening date. (Which would mean I won't have to pop down there in my fancy clothes having gone to a wedding...) -
Thanks everyone! I had some really nice Ale I enjoy, a good curry and some LEGO from the Daily Mirror, as I am saving and waiting for the Cardiff Lego store opening. As for action, There was a lot of climbing and exploring in Tintagel (Cornwall).

I imagine some sort of rivalry between them. He's east of the Nile, Jake is West. Johnny went to Oxford, Jake to Cambridge. It would be fun to play

When I was in school they took us to a disc factory in the area. It was quite impressive to see the machines working (they were printing a large number of Dreamworks El Dorado at the time). Thanks for the video link Big Cam

You could imagine it following after the chopper... With the big dozy headed skeleton in control! Totally BlockBlock!

No. Hello, I'm the staff member in charge of this sub-forum. Please keep things on topic. Or you might just attract the attention and ire of more senior staff.

The Ninja vs Motorcycle Skeleton Soldier wasn't a tip off? I guess I watch some odd anime then...

All that can happen is Customs Officals or TLG themselves are allowed to confiscate the priducts and fine those importing the products. So Enlighten and it's spin offs get nabbed while fully legit brands can carry on as they are.

The only thing anyone can call a failure is Galidor and this is because it was dire and was trying to get into a market that needs a good source material to make any profit. By your reckoning then, all Action themes are a failure and indeed the pirates re-boot must be a failure, seeing as most don't last long and the only one to have multiple lines is only tentatively "Action" as it was too modern to be historic but not modern enough to be Town. Bakugan, Pokemon and countless other things have become immense hits due to their collectable nature and battle based games. If kids can play it in the school yard, then chances are it will gain some popularity. All it takes is four or five of the "cool" kids to play it and everyone is begging their older relatives to buy them the toy and all the varied extras. The massive effort Lego is making to promote this theme increases the chances of this being a hit with kids. The increased exposure, through a variety of products in a number of media will attract the target demographic to the theme. No wonder TLG was so concerned when they found out that AFOLs were significant in number, they knew a lot of their products stood to have a scathing reception from stick-in-the-muds and grumpy nerds! (A la the action figure manufacturers).

Chaps, this seems to be devolving from a discussion on Ninja Go into a discussion on the merits of Bionicle. I worthy subject I am sure, but better suited to the Action Figures sub forum. Yes, I am aware many Action Themes incorprate such parts, but the focus here needs to be the new theme Ninja Go.
-
I for one was already aware that my mother was a ninja (she sneaks around better than any ninja I've ever known.) Remember folks, LEGO is marketed at children in the main, Action Themes doubly so. Only a select few themes have enough of an AFOL following to warrant special sets and sub-themes (USC, Modular Buildings etc) and the minisites are quite certainly for the kids.
