Yah, discussion of the TV series trailer elsewhere please! I'm looking out for translated price points, while making a guess on a simple Euro to GBP conversion might be right, it isn't proof and I am on a strict budget! (Between an Ice palace and GL, an actual Balloon set and the amazing colours in Elves...) It will be interesting to see what sort of polybags will be out there too.

Are you using internet explorer? The board software and IE do not play nice. Compatibility Mode helps if you can't use another browser. -
Original LEGO Heroes and Villains
Peppermint_M replied to Zorglorfian's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Essentially any Action/Adventure Theme has characters, it is one of the core aspects that turns something from Town to Action. Would it be simply any character from a non-licesed theme or does there need to be some other media attached the LEGO theme, like games or tv series? -
Disney Princess 2015 Rumors and Discussion
Peppermint_M replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
It is a well known thing that less than moral stock room employees skim off (though not steal, they'll use employee purchasing schemes) high desireability items for megabucks resale online. Probably all very risky but nets good money! -

You can post in the wider forum. To post your MOC you need to upload a photo to an image hosting site and then, using one of the fine tutorials if you need more help, post the picture in a new topic in the Town forum. So long as it conforms to the rules, you're entered into the competition. -
MOC: Adventurer's Observation Helicopter
Peppermint_M replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I'm glad you like it! I used 2 of One is the bottom part and one is at the back. The front part is this (pics are links) I joined the front two using 1x2 transblack tiles and the wedge/slope brick and the base windscreen is then connected to a SNOT plate, the back is pretty easy to see what I did.- 5 replies

Disney Princess 2015 Rumors and Discussion
Peppermint_M replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Okay. Can we dail it back a little here? I get it, emotions and stresses are running high because of whatever (Least said about crimmas the better). However arguments like this aren't going to make things better. No, you shouldn't nag customer services about release dates. TLG set them for their reasons and if other retailers break ranks it is on their corporate backs. It is a pity that these sets have a January release instead of one for the hoilday, but these things happen. You could gift the exact price or more in cash/vouchers/giftcard and let your little girl feel very grown up to be purchasing her own LEGO just as soon as the set is in in stores. So, lets close this argument here please and not start any trouble further. Thank you. -
[MOC] STEAMarine, a pirate ship gone underwater without sinking...

Ah lovely! The engine details are excellent and the "specialised" part use puts anyone who claims they are single-use to shame! -
MOC: Chibi - Laval's Fire lion

Super Deformed/Chibi is always best! That looks great. -
Adventurers, duh. Nothing beats it, ever! Every LEGO product since Adventurers has just been a way to expand the theme!

Okay, but, does it post out as the video? Unlike pictures, if you use the dialogue box it does not show the video until you submit the reply/post. Otherwise, there might be some issue with the URL you have chosen? Try a copy/paste of the code from my post into your own, then hit reply. If that works then it might be the URL for your media isn't co-operating.

Such wonderful colours! I also like the look of what I hope are elemental stickers, or printed round tiles. It will be interesting to see what media tie-in there is.

Is there a Videogame Discussion Forum?
Peppermint_M replied to Cy_Bored1337's topic in Forum Information and Help
We run the risk of making a forum with very low activity. While there are a lot of LEGO games, is there enough discussion to be had for a dedicated forum? If there were regular and persistent threads that outnumbered all the other C&Mm discussions to the point of drowning out any other topic then maybe a forum would be justified. -
Do you use Internet Explorer? Try compatibility mode or a different browser if possible. Board software and IE do not play nice. Are you using the special media code? In the specail BB code dropdown, select media and paste the URL into the prompt box. This is what you'll get. [media]http://youtu.be/nepQuVNFtfo[/media] If this isn't working, I'm not sure what to suggest!

How can I restore cloth ship flags?
Peppermint_M replied to knight_40k's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Flattening it out and pressing it under some heavy books also works. I stuck a sail and a tent under some hardback tomes and after a few days they were fine. I suppose this is the more patient less ironing based method! (Uch, Ironing....) -
Ooo, I like these new outfits! Maybe I will get some Ninjago next year.

Eurobricks. While indeed a global membership has arrived over the years and are most welcome I think it would be a bit odd for a summer theme when we are having winter in Europe!

Peppermint_M replied to TheLegoNewbie's topic in Forum Information and Help
Are you using Internet Explorer? IE does not play nice with the software that runs Eurobricks. Enable Compatibility Mode on IE, as this should help. Or, if it is an option, try using a different web browser. -

Building Highbury Stadium-Help

Well Excellent! I hope you can get it built. Bricklink is great for parts if you've not heard of it. -
Building Highbury Stadium-Help
Peppermint_M replied to valdemordor's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Yep. while the stand is built bottom-to-top on the sides, the decorative glass section is made by using these In white and building the whole area out from these bricks. It is a possibility that all the wider white sections are made from those bricks and then the "glass" slotted into place. I might give it a go on LDD to share, or you could ask the folks in the LDD forum if they have a similar build effect on file already. -

REVIEW: 71008 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 13
Peppermint_M replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Well, I want at least a few of the Disco Diva, those purple printed legs with the chain belt? A few other parts later and I have a goth girl to hang out with my many other 'alternative' folks! The Egyptian Warrior is a nice addition and plenty of parts will look great for new Adventures! ™ Thanks for the review and for the interview, Fangtastic work as always!- 104 replies

It happens all the time at Christmas they need some toy related stories and once we get past the (media says)Must Have Toys!! and the different ways in which these can be looked at/by (Kids, Adults, Students, Old People, Posh People, etc) we start with the "Barbie is bad for body image!!!" "LEGO Isn't six basic bricks in three colours anymore!!!" "I The Journalist Feel Old Because My Rose Tinted Past Is No Longer the Present!!!!!" type stories. Anyone who knows LEGO products knows there is creativity to be had. It is only limited by the hands the bricks are in.

It is like Paradisa! Soo pretty. And yes Friendszerising is a word (now). Friendszerise - Verb. To Make a LEGO Set more Friends compatible through modification of colour palette.
