  1. That sounds like it belongs in Community if it belongs in the forum at all.
  2. Yes, it does matter. This is not an image board or a chat room. It is a forum to discuss and appreciate LEGO products. So, the images posted in the forum should be LEGO related, those images that are not of LEGO are ususally the real life item that a MOC is based upon. The community section is the area for non LEGO related things.
  3. "I'll take on the Spear Mob B, Dryw! Let us shed some light in this darkness eh old friend?" Dumora Nur Tesni Ellaria Atramor
  4. Ooh, dynamic posing. There needs to be more MOCs that can show such excellent dynamic posing, what with ninjas being so action-y. Thanks for sharing
  5. What is the concept here? Is it simply arguing which character is better or making up a story as to why X character would beat Y character? Or is it a sort of Top Trumps or other stat based comparison game? Forum fads and hobbies have evolved a lot since I started using them, so I've not come across anything called a Battle topic...
  6. Yes, but the search function means you can choose something and search it. So, I choose a torso, than I go to the parts section and the minifig torso assembly section. Now I choose a feature of the torso. There is a pretty prominent Dolphin on that one torso. Only seven results, much easier to look through and find the right one. Then you can find what minifigs it came from. It isn't super amazing fast, but it is quicker than google, minifig books, 8000 minifigures on the list or even asking here. Nine times out of ten you can find a match and figure out which minifig it could have been in.
  7. Now you just need a tile printed to say "Protector of the King's Peice" to stick on the bottom of the truncheon. Another excellent MOC.
  8. Landscaping, water-work, historically accurate (Anachronisms are fun!) structures. Not only that, it reminds me of somewhere I used to visit. Brilliant!
  9. Not come across it here in the UK (I would love a price like that!), it might be a US retail strategy test. Kudos on that "steal" there.
  10. Tesni knew this was not the place to try and intimidate, though she was certainly ready if anyone decided to get objectionable and waved weapons in her face.
  11. Some Adventurers just can't catch a break can they? Eurobricks member Graham Gidman brings us more of the mis-adventures of his little character, proving that small scenes can tell a big story. Take a look and make a comment in Action and Adventure Themes.
  12. What a hapless adventurer he is! Lovely terrain, the simplicity of the presentation really highlights the clever techniques used. Another stellar build
  13. Yes, when we were expecting something lasting and large it was decided to make a subforum. Once the game wound down and eventually shut down for good the threads were put into C&M. There was little point in an inactive forum where the focus no longer existed.
  14. Okay. Can it be agreed finally that a Cars character will not be included in a minifigures series as it is a car and not a humanoid figure. If it was LEGO Characters: Disney then yes, as Wikkeze and Figure Pods include them. But LEGO wants a car to be a playable car, not a solid figure. End of discussion please.
  15. "Far be it for me to suggest caution, but I doubt diplomacy or intimidation will help here." Tesni said. "Though," she shrugged "If in doubt kill everything? or at least knock it down hard"
  16. I love lots like this as you can sometimes sneak some hard to find parts on the cheap, with the larger number of collectors/scalpers dismissing the hodge podge without a second look. I use all kinds of obtuse terms to pull out lots like this and the misnamed lots too, to get a few bargains. If they go for a low price they are a good way to build up a minifigure parts collection too. It begs the question though: Who is under the trooper helmet?
  17. Painted up Scabbers might work as Remy, it seems a lot of the new animals are the Minidoll styled animals (is there an accepted term yet?) but it isn't like the CMFs do not originate a lot of new animals too (Monkey, Snowball II etc) I had no idea this was an actual thing, an actually decent licensed CMF series? (Not a big Simpsons fan either.) Keeping an eye out with interest then
  18. "Not a problem to me. Fair is fair."
  19. "No problem. You;d best have them now before we face more foes." Tesni handed them over. "Onwards through the tunnle then?"
  20. There was a whole section accessible for new members to read and learn how to use the forum. There are a number of help threads and tutorials in the Forum Information and Help section. Including assistance for posting your creations to the forum. Also, I'll be moving this to the appropriate section.
  21. Community posts do not add to post count. It was found people were somewhat abusing the off topic area in ways that looked to us like "post count boosters". As this is a forum for LEGO fans and members are LEGO fans, it shouldn't be hard to post enough in the rest of the forum on LEGO related subjects to get a larger post count.
  22. "Hurrrrra!" Tesni roared and threw herself deeper into the fray.
  23. That is lovely! I adore classic Adventurers MOCs. Well done
  24. "Thank you Dryw. Now Mellt, let us fell Dark Dwarf Load Worker A from the front row of course!" Tesni swapped to her axe. "Nur, your fine battle tactics have served us well here so far!"
  25. Never had that kind of problem and I'm having stuff shipped to Wales! Maybe it is just a case of bad luck. The only annoying postal issue I faced was with a Zoid from Hong Kong. That probably got lost during airport strikes in the UK some years ago.
