One function of these sort of threads is it does bring to attention the worst offenders who can then be reported to the platforms they use for sale of goods. Not only to us the fanbase who can pop in and hit report as a private person but also to the companies involved who have an easy one stop spot so they know what to target. Members want to discuss it, the percentage of users who participate in that thread is very small in comparison to total EB membership, so it isn't exactly taking over. It is a morally grey area, but there are a lot of those and we can't police people's thoughts.

Heroica RPG - Quest #132: The Clans Under the Mountain
Peppermint_M replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
"All true. Though I mostly come along to hit exotic creatures with magical weapons and maybe accidentally solve a local problem or two. I can't dictate political things or economic decision, but I still think it is wise for the truth to be known." -
Heroica RPG - Quest #132: The Clans Under the Mountain
Peppermint_M replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
"We can't end it all down in this dark. Let's take it up to the light so everyone can see the scheming." Tesni said to the vindicator. "A swift blade now seems like the best thing, I can see that. But it will not be ended. More shadows will fall and the bad will crawl out to snatch hearts with lies." -
Oh good! I'm also glad to see its not stopped you hitting up the reports on spam. Sometimes an eagle-eyed mod catches the garbage posts quickly, but we appreciate the effort that members go to, it akes the job a lot easier AS thanks. Have some Monty Python

5935 Island Hopper Redux
Peppermint_M replied to Sci-FiFleetAdmiral's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Ah, the Island Hopper, one of the many sets on my wishlist from the long-ago. Love the redux, the presentation and all the rest. A revival of the adventure is most welcome!- 14 replies

That is a toughie. If you are making a vast MOC, then I'd say a new thread that links back to the WIP is for the better. Maybe try asking the Moderator of the specific theme you are building within. Everyone has what they prefer their forum to be like.

It is more likely that there was a slip of the finger/mouse and you're profile was selected instead of the spammer profile. I find that a lot of spam appears first thing in my morning, so there have been a few risky moments when I am blasting through half a dozen or so spammers and nearly catch a member too! (The avatar/profile picture clues me in, so I've not hit a member yet). It is a shame about the lost thread, I know admin are looking into a solution. Just know that we're all people and sometimes mistakes are made.

Heroica RPG - Quest #132: The Clans Under the Mountain
Peppermint_M replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
Calming from the battle was a struggle. Tapping into the dark power of Cysgodion was becoming risky... "Aye, a fair share of the loot for all. Thank's Nur..." -

Heroica RPG - Quest #132: The Clans Under the Mountain
Peppermint_M replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Will you too fall like the honourless Honour Guard?" Tesni said, a purple gleam lighting her eyes. -
Actually, the 10 meaningful posts can't be hard for legitimate members joing the community to discuss and enjoy their hobby. There is nothing stopping a new member from posting a thread for their own creation, weighing in on a discussion on new sets or any number of other topics. Many new members manage to make 10 contributing posts very quickly after joining.

Heroica RPG - Quest #132: The Clans Under the Mountain
Peppermint_M replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Cheers! That fellow packs a little more of a punch than expected!" Tesni stood ground again. "Let's try that again eh?" -
2016 Speed Champions Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Peppermint_M replied to CM4Sci's topic in LEGO Town
Going to send this across to town where the speed champions live. -
Thank you for the wise words Nabii, also the inside information is always neat! Now. Will everyone please GIVE IT A REST. By consensus of the moderators and plenty of user demand, Nexo Knights was deemed to better fit the Action and Adventure Theme template than the Historic Theme template here on Eurobricks. Please take your assorted whinging and complaining to a more fitting thread elsewhere. I am sure Historic has somewhere you can wring your hands about the lack of traditional castle themes, there is certainly a thread active about gender in LEGO marketing/themes and it is not difficult to create a thread to debate how EB places themes within the forum architecture over in Forum Information and Help. This thread is here to discuss the Nexo Knight themes in the context of the sets, their features, appearance in stores, advertising and elements. While there is some space for comparative discussion, long winded or one sentence posts about how it is/is not castle don't add anything to the thread and are getting really boring now. Personally, I think many features of Nexo Knights fit into the Action and Adventure Theme classification. (Shameless self promotion) So, could we stick to the actual topic of the thread now?

Please can we put this to rest? It is an Action Castle theme. We get Action Diving, we get Action Ninjas, we get Action Mining... Now we can add Action Castle to the list.

[MOC] Flinx's Flaming CHI Fortress
Peppermint_M replied to CM4Sci's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Love the build. I have great admiration for MOCs that look like sets While art pieces and monster creations are visually impressive, there is nothing like creating something that looks official. Well done.- 48 replies

Heroica RPG - Quest #132: The Clans Under the Mountain
Peppermint_M replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Cysgodion. Bring me Darkness. Bring me Strength." Tesni drew the dark blade "An Honour Guard without honour will face my steel, my darkness..." The dark blade glowed, it alsmost seemed pleased to be used in battle once more. Repeat Battle order? -
What got you into collecting Lego as an Adult?
Peppermint_M replied to badchriss's topic in Community
One day I realised through external circumstances that "Dammit, I'm an Adult now aren't I?" There is no escaping it... I never stopped being addicted to the brick, so it just rolled on. -
LEGO Parts Not Available In Sets?
Peppermint_M replied to Boettner Builds's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Sometimes these are "Q Parts", elements created for LEGOLAND displays or projects that have found there way to sellers or collectors somehow. I'm not really an expert on those though, so that's about as much as I could say! -
I'm from Wales, South Wales. We randomly greet each other on the street and can chatter like lifelong friends in when on the bus having just met. If people are loud in the LEGO aisle I am quite happily browsing, I'll chip in an opinion when they're discussing the merits of a set. Between the Superhero t-shirts and the colourful trainers, people can tell I'm on the geeky side and will have a chat if they need an opinion for a gift. I also end up shanghaid into finiding CMFs once my skills are demonstrated

Heroica RPG - Quest #132: The Clans Under the Mountain

"Attack the drill then felllows?" Tesni raised her axe ready to fight. (If it ain't broke, don't fix it, same battle order?) -
Help with identifying parts/sets!
Peppermint_M replied to WhiteFang's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Or Tyco. Tyco made a few like that if I recall correctly. -
Hoots! Gloryhammer aren't visiting the mighty land of Cymru, but I have created some little plastic version to make up for it. If you were not aware, Gloryhammer are a metal band. Their latest album Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards has been pretty much on repeat in my Car. Being a little bored and thinking that the promo shot: Had a number of elements that matched well with LEGO I in fact owned... I couldn't resist! The castle in the background is Caerphilly Castle, I visted there today with my sister and her friends, but it has long been a favourite of the family to visit. I thought it would make a pretty epic backdrop. Hope you enjoy these figs!

Lego Ninjago 2016
Peppermint_M replied to LegendsOfNinjago's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
IT is vexing, but with all the pictures taken away, all we have are the discussions. Head back a few days worth of pages instead of spamming all the thread please. That's why there is a "last read" function to use on the forum, so you can spot everything you missed. (Or parse through and find all the rule breaking )
