  1. Thanks for testing. The 298c01 did not import because it has a yellow lever. I'll look into it. And you're right about the 3004. Gotta fix that. BTW: What version of Access do you have?
  2. To all LDD Manager users - I need you help. I can only test on my own computer with Win7 and Access 2003, so I don't know if it works on other configurations. If any of you have Access 2007 or Access 2010 running on either on Win7, Vista or XP, let me know if it works OK for you? Thanks!

  4. Maybe TLG MaterialID 108 Earth Yellow, or 128 DarkNougat? I've been looking at this list, among other. Does that help you in any way?
  5. What do you mean, what was the PM for? Did you see my PM? If you respond to the PM, we can talk there instead, OK?
  6. Aha, that explains it OK, at the top right in you window you will have a box that says "BrickWild". If you click on the your name, a dropdown list will appear. One of the n there named "Messenger()" Click on it and you will see all your private messages. What puzzles me is that you should get a mail also when you get a PM. Either you have disables that feature, or the mails are all classified as junk in you mail software.
  7. Hi Please have a look at your inbox. I sent you a PM, and I'd like you to reply. Thanks
  8. From what I've been told, that's exactly how it is. And also connecting studs to a technic hole seems to be a bit of a general "legal/illegal" problem . Hopefully in the future there will be a major overhaul by DesignLab of the rules that govern this. Very well spotted, doc.
  9. That is an interesting one. I assume you mean that a 6961 cannot attach to four 30565 placed as a circle? I wonder if this is a brick bug or not? Because for it to work, LDD would have to know when four 30565 have been placed, and only then allow connectivity, and I don't think LDD at the moment has conditional connectivity.
  10. Finalized pictures of the 2011 sets are now starting to appear across the forum. Here some examples: Star Wars - Creator - City - Technic- Pharaoh's Quest - Atlantis - Ninja Go! Thanks to Darth Jar Jar, Navy Trooper Fenson and Prateek for posting.
  11. Hey Ghosty When signing up on a new forum, it's always a good idea to browse around for a while and check out any index topics. The LU mode is not exactly news here on this forum. Please look around before posting, OK?
  12. It will work if you use the brick 44822 instead. The brick 95120 that you have used has a major flaw in it. Please replace with brick 44822 and update your post. Thanks!
  13. Sorry guys for mixing you up. Alienwar9 it should be
  14. Got it! I'm sending back a BOM (Bill of Material) via mail. But since I could open the LXF, I can't find anything wrong with the program. I read somewhere it could be a read-only issue. Can you check so that you have full read/write access to the folder in which you placed LDD Manager? Also check the file itself (LDDManager.mdb). YOu can do this by right clicking the folder and file respectively and selectiong "Properties". Un-check the "read-only" flags, and look at the Security tab so you have full rights.
  15. News in the brief: Over at the LDD forum, we are trying out a concept called RCB (Relay Community Build). Basically it is about building a MOC together by passing the model from builder to builder, and that each builder adds on what the previous have done. If you want to see what this is all about and follow the build, have a look here.
  16. I think it's starting to look really good (despite all the joking...or perhaps thanks to) Anyway, I think we should continue to keep the building somewhat serious. This is the world's first LDD RCB build, and it would be nice if it was somewhat presentable . We have the SpiderSpacemans "artsy" RCB for those who want to go completely artistic. Also question to ADHO15: To avoid a total skyscraper, and allowing upcoming builder something to build, is it allowed to build "supporting" objects. For example like the fire truck in the 10197 Fire Brigade?
  17. No mail received yet. I'll check my inbox again after work.
  18. You put that in really good words! That's a fair point!
  19. The way tubes flex in your application is just wonderful.
  20. Sorry, not sure I understand; Can you move bricks around and place them where you want to?
  21. I just read over at Brickset.com that there seems to be a new LEGO Games Creationary app for the iPhone/iPod, with bricks that looks very much like LDD. If we could only have some in-game video, it'd be cool to see what it looks like in action.
  22. @ Aanchir: I'm not sure how EB came into the discussion. By "we" I meant the AFOL community at large. And naturally you're right, every contest organizer can decide what they want. I guess I just wanted to point at an interesting development of our Lego hobby and the potential consequences.
  23. Well, in my mind the introduction of a more structural element by BrickForge, makes a huge difference. Before it was only minifig accessories, weapons etc. And that was fine, because its use was limited mostly to minifig customisers (I'm probably going to get flamed now ). But now, we're talking a new type Lego-like elements. Let me give an example: Let's say that the BrickForge lamppost is accepted to use in a MOC. Now, what if Megabloks also have Lamppost that they have designed themselves (just like BrickForge). Would we accept the BrickForge and not the Megabloks one.
