  1. OK, I see it. It's the same problem that Zbjl have remarked a couple of times with 6536 CROSS BLOCK.
  2. Hi XeroxDK, welcome the the LDD forum! Yepp, that's an important part, and we are many that miss it If it's any conciliation, I heard from the LDD Team that it's now in place, so we will get it with the next LDD update (whenever that is).
  3. Hi. Can you please help pinpoint which lift arm it will not fit on. Also, you used the wrong dark grey color. It should be the Dark Stone Grey
  4. Great spotting ya'll. All bugs up until now reported to our friends in Billund!
  5. I love to read your posts Front - you can't find anyone that know more about this then you
  6. I got a mail from the guys over at Hispabrick Magazine asking for feedback on their latest issue. So if you've got something to say - good or bad - you can do it here. (The latest issue can be downloaded here)
  7. It only costs 1 dollar so what do you have to loose
  8. Thanks for the review! Great job! PS: The link to the screenshot is not working ("private").
  9. OK Kyphur, maybe you can give us a review
  10. Ooops sorry, thanks for pointing out legolijntje. PM system can be found in the far top-right corner of the Eurobricks window. It says your username, and there is a small downwards pointing arrow to the right. Click on it and you get a dropdown list. Chose "Messenger".
  11. Very interesting app. Could you post some more pics on how to operate tha app, including a feature list. Also, a video would be great, like the one you have for Dude In a Tube.
  12. New issue of Hispabrick Magazine Hispabrick issue 9 is now out - as usual jam packed with high quality content. Click on here to download. EDIT: If you want to discuss or leave feedback about this issue, you can do it here
  13. Well, I'll have to agree with legolintje on this one. A small utility that ads a line to a text-file kind of takes away the point of LU Mode being made specifically for AFOLs (which I hope can follow the simple step-by-step instructions in the first post). But, having said that, it's a free world, so if someone wants to make a utility, by all means go ahead.
  14. This is a really great topic. What about expanding it to become a collection of LEGO fonts. I'll go first with these three, which are all "studs up / top view". In two of them I've used the macaroni, and in the third the new 87620 BRICK 2x2 W ANGLE 45 DEGREES. Also as you can see, there is some cheating (using a jumperplate or two). If you have some improvements on any of these fonts, by all means, mod away! LXF
  15. You're bringing up something that has annoyed me too for a long time. The underside of the grid is way to dark, and the stud outlines interfere with the underside of the bricks so you don't know which is which. About the the problem that LDD "ereases" the model, I'm not sure how you mean. Could be a a problem with the graphics card?
  16. Excellent build! PS: The wheel is actually there, but it's under the Technics section (the icon with the pin). But I agree - they sure hid it away.
  17. No problem. I'll see if I can check it, unless someone else beats me to it. EDIT: Well, just tried it and it seems its an illegal build. When put together, the bricks are under stress and it's not possible to fully seat them. So I guess we have a case of a technique that was allowed back then, but not anymore.
  18. No problem, I didn't think so. I was just dreaming/hoping for something along the line of "it will be the main centerpiece at the LEGO world exhibition 2011" or something like that From me you get an OK.
  19. Have you tried with real LEGO to see if it will fit well, or it if is a "illegal" building technique?
  20. If this is indeed a new trend that TLG are wrapping them separtely, that is good news. And it seems like a good idea to start with the "AFOL" oriented sets, since we tend to care more about these things
  21. Interesting idea. Can you tell us some more what you mean by showcasing, e.g. where and how?
  22. Hi Doc Glad you found these pages useful! Sure, adding any model to your existing city layout is easy. Just open a LXF of your choice, select the entire model in it, Copy, Open your city plan. Paste.
  23. Sorry, I'm closing this topic. shadowreaperx, please remember this is an AFOL site (Adult Fans of LEGO). Sure, you are allowed to ask simple noob questions, but then keep on an adult level. "Ah well, you can't take the easy route with everything, can ya?" is not approriate. Regarding the question about uploading/sharing pics - please read the help topics herefirst.
  24. Please shadowreaperx - what is the purpose of this post? Please remember this is a site for AFOLs (adults fans of LEGO), so your post has to be up to level.
  25. Well, it seems you've bumped into some bug in the 4081 brick (1x1 plate with closed loop on the side). A work-around would be to replace 4081 with a 6019 or 61252 (1x1 plate with clip on side). Note also that there is a small height difference (blue arrow in picture below) that should be eliminated too. Maybe someone else here on the forum can help do that. EDIT: Hm, on second thought - it may not be a brick bug in that sense but more the "discreet jump" problem we've seen before?
