  1. Looks good, but should the interior really be purple. You know this thread with official sets is a bit boring in the sence that no spicing is allowed
  2. May I please ask you to check the models carefully before uploading 1) There are no grey of these, so I'm not sure what you mean. And why would you have to take those instead of 32604? 2) When you open the LXF-file you get a warning "2 bricks have been removed from your model". It is always a good practice to save and the open a LXF before posting, just to make sure it's all OK. You are certainly right about the flag pieces. I'll report those to Lego. Great find.
  3. Another fix. I nudged the blue "1x1 plate with clip" hinge part directly in the LXF-file. This way there's not need to fiddle in the GUI with all the surrounding parts, which I notice leaves strange glitches etc. Just cut and paste this code into a text-file and save with a LFXML ending, then open in LDD and copy the part. NOTE: It's this row that control the position of the blue 1x1 plate with clip: <Bone refID="0" transformation="0,0,-1,0,1,0,1,0,0,0.30000001192092896,1.6349999904632568,1.2000000476837158"> And if you're interested in numbers, there's no need for the precision in the floating numbers. You could just as well write like this and it would open fine in LDD: <Bone refID="0" transformation="0,0,-1,0,1,0,1,0,0,0.3,1.635,1.2"> i.e. the 0.30000 etc is rounded to 0.3 This makes it easier to edit values directly in the XML code. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no" ?> <LXFML versionMajor="5" versionMinor="0" name="Gallardo-fix3"> <Meta> <Application name="LEGO Digital Designer" versionMajor="3" versionMinor="1"/> <Brand name="LEGOUniverse"/> <BrickSet version="114.3"/> </Meta> <Cameras> <Camera refID="0" fieldOfView="80" distance="21.357938766479492" transformation="0.94336909055709839,0,-0.33174484968185425,-0.16649724543094635,0.86493527889251709,- 0.4734613299369812,0.28693780303001404,0.50188344717025757,0.81595313549041748,7 .6554031372070312,11.79150390625,18.640081405639648"/> </Cameras> <Bricks cameraRef="0"> <Brick refID="0" designID="61252"> <Part refID="0" designID="61252" materials="23"> <Bone refID="0" transformation="0,0,-1,0,1,0,1,0,0,0.30000001192092896,1.6349999904632568,1.2000000476837158"> </Bone> </Part> </Brick> <Brick refID="1" designID="60478"> <Part refID="1" designID="60478" materials="26"> <Bone refID="1" transformation="0.37172198295593262,-0.92834419012069702,0,0.92834419012069702,0.37172198295593262,0,0,0,1,1.26751863 95645142,1.0504896640777588,1.2130012512207031"> </Bone> </Part> </Brick> </Bricks> </LXFML>
  4. I think everyone wants to see that fix Zbjl
  5. Welcome to the Eurobricks Autoargus. Hope you will enjoy it here!!
  6. Hi Josh. Good to see you here in the LDD section Regarding this build, there are actually quite a few problems: - First, read the rules of the topic - you must provide a link to the LXF-file - Secondly, the green color should be Lime Green. There is a topic here on the LDD forum how to get access to the all colors, inlcuding Lime. - Thirdly, you've used several replacedment parts when the original is actually in LDD Universe Mode (like the spoiler plate, the antenna etc). Please note that the models in the topic should be as accurate as possible, and if there are any parts not in LDD, you must list them carefully, preferable with parts numbers and links to Peeron or BrickLink. - Fourthly, the eyes of the car are not modeled correctly. When you build Official sets in LDD, you must build them exactly as the official Lego instructions so they are true to the original. But if you fix the above, you're on the road to becoming a real good LDD user.
  7. That one I have an answer to. There are two version of that bar. The older one have holes trough it (Bar 1 x 6 with Studs Open). However, the new one does not (Bar 1 x 6 with Studs Closed), and it's only the new one that is in LDD.
  8. Thanks for clearifying the leafs. And about putting two elements at the same, there is an archictural problem in LDD that has to do with instantiation of bricks with dual connectivity. I have posted a more thorough explanation about it here at the forum some time ago, but I can't find the post right now, sorry
  9. Can you post peeron or bricklink links to the three parts you have replaced/changed, so that it's easier for others to understand your alterations. Thanks!
  10. That's a bit of an odd question. Why do you ask? (And I guess you have read about the huge size and 4200 pieces, so allready there you have a clue )
  11. Great finds Andy. Concider them all reported to Lego (but I'm not sure what you mean by 2) Which palm tree leaves do you mean? And while we're at it, here's a message from PA in the LDD team who is sitting with Maya everyday preparing all the brick geometries that go into LDD: "Thank you all for helping us find problems with the bricks. We really appreciate it!"
  12. To all contestants: 1) Please specify which class you enter, i.e. "LDD Only" or "LDD + Physcial Bricks" 2) If you are entering the LDD Only class you MUST also link to the LXF-file, or you will be disqualified. 3) Make sure you use the IMG-tag, so they show up in the post, not like links, but like pictures 4) Observe - Max 3 pictures that are max 800 pixels in size.
  13. Yeah, but were are you supposed to place such a monster? I'm completely swamped allready with sets, and now one that's 1 meter (!) long.
  14. Hi Enigma You're more than welcome to EB. I sure hope to see you over at our LDD forum. About your user name, what about making a WW2 Enigma machine in LDD? And if you get it working you get extra bonus
  15. Hi Welcome to the forums, hope you're going to enjoy it here with the rest of us AFOLs. Really like that C27. It has some sort of cool chunkieness to it. And the wings with the intergrate engines are very nice. Keep up the good work!!! Also, I see a potential speciality for you - roller coasters in Lego. That'd be awesome to see
  16. Hi there karl1 Yes, it's huge forum for AFOLs, so please feel welcome to look around. If you get lost, don't hesitate to holler for help Looking forward to seeing you in the forums
  17. If you want to participate in the contest, you need to add a link to the LXF-file too.
  18. Hi and very welcome to the EB Forum!
  19. Welcome to a place full of peers
  20. Love that Ambulance, specially since real thing it's sitting right in front of me at my desk Yepp, the torch doesn't fit. LDD is missing the right one: 64647
  21. Calabar, in your LDD file the black 1x4 bracket is not placed in it's correct place. That is what AndyC is trying to say (right, AndyC?). It should be placed 1 stud more in towards the car, that's why it's not connected. Or is that what you mean by "best approximation"? So as far as I understand, this is still unsolved, right? If it is indeed an illegal building by LEGO, then this is quite some news gentlemen!
  22. A very intresting problem. At first I thought it was a LDD brick boundary bug, that the 1x4 bracket wouldn't go into the cavity on the underside of the 2x2 tile. But then I pulled out my trusty old yellow Gallardo and re-built the front to match the new blue one, and yes the angled 2x2 tiles seemingly fit (but very, very tight). But still it's not possible to do in LDD. I'm not going to jump to any conclusions here, but can we possibly have an illegal building technique by TLG themselves at our hands (i.e. they have squeezed in the 2x2 tile in a spot that crams the other bricks)? Or is it a plain old LDD brick problem? What do you guys think? PS: Designers at Lego uses the paper test to see if a techniqe is legal or not. If you cannot slip a piece of paper in the gap between two adjecent bricks, then the fit is too tight. And I for one can't fit a paper between the angled 2x2 tile and the 2x3 wedge plate!
  23. I second that as the internal LEGO category ID for this category is "203 - Bricks: Special Circles And Angles". Having said that, I do too find the LDD category system quite strange sometimes. Specially when you're used to the BrickLink taxonomy (fancy word for classification system). Actually, the interesting thing with LDD is that it offers an insight to how bricks are identified, categorized and named within TLG. So using LDD we're actually looking into the bizzare and sometimes illogical world of TLG EDIT: I just realized that I'm a bit off-topic here. Now it won't be long until Index Master Calabar will come by and take me by the ear
  24. Absolutely no problem to call Lego Direct. My experience is very positive. They are helpful and will almost always just send out the missing part(s).
