  1. Thanks for confirming the error! Can anyone else using Office/Access2010 or 2007 test if it works or doesn't on their computer?
  2. OS = Operating System I'll look into that LXF as soon as I get it.
  3. I wasn't primarliy refering to the business situation, but the use of parts in MOCs from various suppliers. I think the topic is intresting because to my knowledge it's the first time that one of the small manufacturers (BrickForge, Brick Arms etc) have made ordinary LEGO-like elements.
  4. No problem on my behalf. I just thought it was so funny. Sure, the rules said you couldn't change a previous builders stuff, but it didn't say anything about encapsulating it
  5. It seems our friends over at BrickForge has now started selling ordinary elements, such as this lamppost: It's going to be interesting to see how this affects that age old question: Is it OK with clone brands in a LEGO MOC. And if so, is it OK to use BrickForge and such, but not MegaBloks? The discussion rages on....
  6. Ha, ha....that was exactly what I was thinking too
  7. I haven't heard about this error before. Could you please tell me what OS and what version of Access you are using. Also, if possible, can you please zip and mail me the LXF (my mail adress can be found in the program under About & Help).
  8. Aha....interesting. After the first curious and friendly phase (aka "wow, a community build"), we're are moving into the next phase - (aka "dont mess with my stuff") Soon we'll be going into the next phase (which I have not clue whatseover what that may be)
  9. Well, it was just an idea to create a template LXF-file with like a library of floor variants. It didn't acutally have anything to do with the RCB. Sorry for the confusion.
  10. It's actually new for the latest release of LDD Mnager. NOTE: There is a bug which means you can only use it for IE at the moment, but I will have a release out in a few days that support all browsers. Read more in the LDD Manager topic
  11. That floor tiling is absolutely wonderful Randal! Actually it gives me an idea: I'm going a bit off-topic here, but maybe it's OK since this community build is somehow about ideas It'd be cool is someone (*Ran..cough..dal* ) could start making a sample file of various pavement and floor patterns. Then another person can continoue work on that file. Each persons that adds patterns can put a special colored brick combination next to that pattern indicating he/she did it, so if someone decide to use it, they can credit the right person (or is this complicating things? - I guess each person can also create a LXF of their own - but that wouldn't be so much a community feel to it).
  12. Well, I guess you're right ADHO15. We'll have to take this as a learning test too (Sorry to whomever planted the tree, no offense meant)
  13. Simple "one-piece" pine-trees in a Cafe Corner style building ADHO15, you are the master, can someone down the line have the possibilty to exchange those with ones made from individual bricks? Or is it "once its planted, its there"?
  14. Thanks for those kind words. I think I found a solution to the import from other browsers then IE. However, to check, can you please copy "BL set list" and paste it in to a .txt-file, zip it, and then upload for me. That way I can identify the characters used to separate the different columns. Also, I'm looking into adding support for the decorations, so any bricks in BL with a decorations that exist in LDD, will import correctly.
  15. I'll defintely look into this. Thanks for letting me know.
  16. You need to make sure to select the entire first row in LDD Manager so that it is turned black, before pasting. See Figure 12 in the help file. (PS: I know it's not very user friendly, but it's the best I could do at the moment )
  17. And here is the link to the IGN review And another one at Platform nation
  18. There is a new feature in LDD Manager that may be of use when building official sets. The feature allows you to import all bricks from a set-listing at BrickLink, and then create a LXF-file with them. That way you can save time by getting all bricks layed out in the correct colors.
  19. It seems the new LDD Manager is working fine, since I haven't heard any complaints. I haven't been able to test it other then on my own computer using IE8. If any of you guys bump into problems, let me know. Thanks!
  20. Here is the LEGO LXFML reference information for your reading pleaseure. It's been poster earlier in the forum, but here it is in this topic LXFML5.zip
  21. I'll KEY topic it if it takes off properly.
  22. UPDATE: All bugs reported so far has been repoted to TGL. And keep up the good work - the bugs you find seems to be gradually fixed (as we can see in 4.0).
  23. Sorry if this has been asked before, but which is the official TLG Color ID for "Fabuland Brown". In BrickLink it has color ID "106".
