LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
Renegade Clone replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
What really annoys and confuses me is why they never release a special edition with an exclusive mini-fig with any PC version of a LEGO game!!! For example, if I want to get the Silver Centurion Ironman figure then I have to buy the X-Box, or PS4 version, then remove the mini-fig and try to sell the game on ebay. -
Absolutely gorgeous mini-fig version of the AT-ST Fantastic detailing - just beautiful

I'm waiting for that piece in Dark Red too :). Lots of useful new parts appearing. The Lego ingots are useful for greebling. The Nexo Knights range are introducing some very nice new parts.

Hey guys, I was happy to see this part... ... finally available in Bricklink in good quantities and in Sand Blue. I thought it would be useful to add to my B-wing as you can see... Hope you like the modification! I have a few alternate B-wing configurations in the works too which I hope to release soon - the squadron is nearly complete Renegade Clone

I tried the ISB officers with black legs but in Lego form it just does not look right. White legs look much better IMHO

I thought that my original diagram was well overdue for an update There may be a First Order version coming in the near future too...

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
Renegade Clone replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Not entirely true. There is a rumour circulating from a reliable source that Thrawn will appear on Rebels S3. And already a fair number of Legends ships and characters have been reintegrated into canon. For example, the 'Flurry' - Quasar Fire-class bulk cruiser from 'The Truce at Bakura' is seen in the last Rebels trailer. -

Incorrect. 'The Clone Wars' is no longer in production. Note I said the only canon show is Rebels at present - as in now! -

The animated show people are referring to is a SW LEGO show similar to Yoda Chronicles. This is likely to be non-canonical. The only canon animated show is SW: Rebels at present. -

So I guess the TIE Advanced vs A-Wing will come with... Darth Vader - Maybe with red eyes since it is Rebels? Probably with the Type-2 helmet. Sabine A-Wing pilot - Probably new torso print, since Rebels figures always have simplified printing. New helmet printing I hope for variation. Maybe they will go with Grey-Wing helmet as they often wear in the show. Commander Jun Sato or Phoenix Squadron trooper based on Ralph McQuarrie's original designs. Did not see the confirmation of Grand Moff Tarkin - updated Grand Moff Torso! -

Brickset reports the TIE Advanced vs A-Wing is £80, not £30. Not really a surprise. -
Thanks for the comments everyone. I've managed to finally get around to putting together the LDD file for my T-16. Enjoy! T-16 Skyhopper v1.0.lxf

Always love seeing other interpretations of the B-Wing! Very nice mod of 75050

Looks amazing! Congratulations on a superlative design It is probably slightly oversized for a true minifig-scale model but that is a very minor issue. Can't wait to see the real life build

[MOC] Vader kills Admiral Harkov - scene from Tie Fighter game
Renegade Clone replied to Kalais's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Fantastic MOC! I remember playing TIE Fighter when it was first released - it still stands up today as the best Star Wars videogame. You have captured that cutscene brilliantly in LEGO. Congratulations. If you have not already played TIE Fighter or X-Wing, pick them up from GOG - they are optimised to play on modern PC's and they only cost a few pounds each :) -
If anyone is interested, I installed a new X-Wing cockpit on a Psiaki T-65, with a few modifications and additional greebling. It is purposefully angled to match the actual model. It gives you an idea how one would look on this magnificent T-70 design. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/RenegadeClone/X-Wing/20151231_004730.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/RenegadeClone/X-Wing/20151231_004806.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/RenegadeClone/X-Wing/20151231_004839.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/RenegadeClone/X-Wing/20151231_041511.jpg

[MOC] Upsilon-class command shuttle
Renegade Clone replied to Renegade Clone's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Actually it is pretty accurate as compared to the schematics. Each grid square represents 2 studs squared.- 24 replies

I’ve been working for the past three months on this project. After the 1:93 scale kit from Revell was released I reverse engineered the correct measurements and planned out a minifigure scale version. The build consists of two wings and the central body. These are mostly finished with a little more work needed to lockdown the final assembly and stability issues. I should be able to include the boarding ramp and some interior elements. Current size is 32cm (w), 44cm (l) and 56cm (h). If you watched closely during the movie you will have noticed that the upper wings slide inwards and down behind the lower wings. However, the cross-sections book and schematics show retraction tracks to pull the wings inside the lower section. Much like the original design of the shuttle (which was painted white in early promotional material) this detail must have changed late in post-production. Once I get hold of newer reference material I can change the wing design. For now I'll keep the wings in retracted mode, as a build with them deployed would be 96cm tall! As I make more progress, I'll upload photos into the album. Hope you like it.

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors

It has already broken all records with advanced booking of seats, so its a good chance it will be one of, if not the highest grossing film of all time. Oddly, in the US the film is opening on only 3,900 screens which is far less than many other recent blockbusters. -

It's Star Wars!!! It is so embedded in the psyche of generations of moviegoers, it hardly requires much promotion. To be honest, the fact that the original trio is back would be enough to get millions into cinema seats on opening night! It is interesting that Disney is also really putting the Original Trilogy in the forefront, and quietly letting the prequels.... disappear... -

I will never understand the psychology of someone posting what is quite clearly a fake list of releases. What possible satisfaction can someone get from such an act? Otherwise, I cannot wait for the new battlepacks to be released :) Very cool! -

Indeed, there has been confirmation that the New Republic does exist in pre-TFA literature.
