The Imperial Battlefront Battlepack contains an Imperial Technician with new, accurate black kepi! :) The scars are great for action dioramas!

Hmmmmm... Looks like it could be a new minifig! Where did you find the pic? Definitely a change in printing for the Mon Cal head. And the torso looks new too. I don't think so...Totally different.

This is a rumours thread... so if there are no rumours then yes, no discussion ;) Plenty of other threads to discuss other topics.

What I don't understand is Lego outright cancelling orders for the X-Wing instead of putting it on backorder. I would have been quite happy waiting a few weeks, getting my VIP points and Yularen figure a bit later.

Interestingly, if you go to the UK Shop@home it lists the MF as 'Out of stock, expected ship date 15 Sep 2015' but you can still place an order. However, Poe's X-Wing is 'Temporarily out of stock' and the add to bag button is gone :( Yet it looks like I can still get the X-Wing from various local toy shops which are in-stock. Rather have gotten it from Lego to use my VIP points and get another Yularen fig though :(

Just got an email from Lego - my order for Poe's X-Wing has been cancelled!!! 'demand for the item(s) listed below has exceeded our expectations and the item(s) are no longer available' - can't understand why the order has been outright cancelled instead of simply delayed. Placed the order on the 4th just after they appeared on the Shop@home website using my saved up VIP points.

Just a heads up - a rather good photograph of the box artwork for the Revell T-70 X-wing model kit has surfaced, might be handy for accurising 75102 in a few days time!

Oddly enough, only 'Rey's Speeder' is out, not any other TFA sets. I expect the Mickey Police to be around any second... ;)

Wow! :) As you know I am a big fan of the B-Wing and this is fantastic! I love what you have done with the UCS design. The smooth look is very nice. I would love to incorporate some smoother portions into my design but it's impossible at minifig scale. Great work (and swooshable too!) :) Adywan is hoping to complete a revised version of ROTJ with the addition of more B-Wing action - using new model work! Hopefully it will eventually see the light of day. Of course he has to finish TESB first!

Does anyone have Cavegod's contact details? I have been trying to contact him to purchase a copy of his LDD instructions for the UCS AT-AT. I have already built most of the external parts from photos but need the instructions to get the internal superstructure correct.

That's a new generation X-Wing from Episode 7 and it's pretty accurate for a minifig-scale ship. What did you expect? The design in the film has not changed very much from the good old T-65. As far as the cockpit - it's the most accurate cockpit Lego have done and is a great replacement for the terribly inaccurate one we have had for 16 years. So thumbs up from me :)

What a relief to see a new windscreen cockpit piece specific to the X-wing! The original generic 1999 piece has long outstayed it's welcome.

Agreed. I think PT sets will be increasingly rare. With 'Rebels', the OT-set spin-off films, and Episodes 7-9, I think at most we may see one PT set a year (and probably less).

I would assume that the 2nd wave of TFA sets will include some battlepacks. Also there is a chance Captain Phasma will be a promo figure given the nature of the character. Hopefully I'm wrong!

As I said, I personally have no issue with it but I know others were making a big issue of any sort of 'spoiler' being posted in this thread. Just look back a few pages to get a taste of some of the outrage!

On another note, does anyone else think we may finally get a new, more accurate cockpit piece with the next generation X-Wing? Hopefully a slightly smaller, minifig-scale version of the UCS cockpit. It has always bugged me how the current, frequently used cockpit has never looked right.

NNOPMOC - Somebody is going to have a fit when they see your post! I don't have a problem with it but others would consider those pics major spoilers.
