IMHO 'Admiral' Thrawn is a disaster. Such a missed opportunity. Unfortunately somebody at Lego did not pay attention and slipped up quite badly. The price of 'The Phantom' is a bit ridiculous. I am not sure why they changed the colour of the A-Wing pilot to green from dark green - but no matter, I have a squadron of A-Wing pilots already. However, the technician is excellent - many bricklink orders loom in the near future. The prices are a bit disheartening but at least they are guaranteed to drop on Amazon etc.

General Calrissian's torso seems a little too bright for Alliance officers (e.g. compared to Crix Madine), I'd prefer if they stuck with dark tan. Can't complain about the cape or hair though. And after 17 years we finally get a quantum leap in accurate Alliance technicians!

I saw the recent Rogue One featurette and thought I'd have a go at Cassian and Jyn in disguise on Scarif. "That is a bad idea!"

The U-Wing pilot has a completely new helmet design - very different from previous OT designs. I haven't seen that design in any promotional materials yet. I actually hope that Lego don't update the X-Wing helmet design to a dual mould. As it would be a real pain to replace all the current individual helmets. Personally I like the current design.

It is especially annoying because it is the same minifigure as in the Star Destroyer microfighter.

Moroff - a Rogue One Character

To be honest, it makes more sense for Admiral Raddus to be in the set. I do wish we could get another minifig with a Dark Grey Kepi. We have not had one since the Star Destroyer in 2014 with the Imperial Crewman and Officer.

At least Hothbricks will have to release any hi-res images now :) Nice looking sets! I cannot wait to get my hands on the Admiral Raddus minifig. I do wish Lego had added a Endor Trooper-style helmet to the Rebel Battlepack for more variation. Krennic's Shuttle Microfighter is disappointing - would have been nice to have an officer instead of another technician/pilot minifig. Dark bley kepis are so rare! So is the Thrawn set a summer release?

The U-Wing is definitely worth it. One of the better Star Wars sets of the year IMHO. Krennic's Shuttle is pretty good too. If you don't like the design, blame the R1 movie designers - it is very accurate to the movie design.

Picked up the Hovertank and TIE Striker at my local Toymaster today!

What a new Y-Wing really needs is better scaled engine nacelles, hopefully with a new custom piece for the steering vanes/disk ventrals at the end of the nacelles.

I think he means a new Y-Wing cockpit mold - not the X-Wing cockpit.

The sets and prices have been listed on Argos website for a good few days.

For a flagship UCS set, including an obscure unclassified officer seen for roughly the same amount of time as the ESB ice cream guy is rather odd.

None of this has anything to do with LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors....

I think calling 2016 the worst year ever for Lego Star Wars is exaggeration and hyperbole. A terrible UCS set for sure, but hopefully the DS will be a vast improvement. The year is not over. The Rogue One sets look fantastic. Also you know you can always build a better version yourself - it is Lego afterall :)

Fantastic model Kit! I have always preferred five-studs wide in the middle for my A-Wings. Your design is quite similar to my own with some wonderful new modifications :) You have managed to capture the larger size and different look of the early A-Wing almost perfectly.
