With the set numbers known for these 4 sets, that leaves 2 unknown ones - presumably the two battlpacks? 7660 Naboo Starfighter 7661 Jedi interceptor 7662 MTT 7663 Sith Infiltrator 7664 TIE Crawler 7665 Radiant VII 7666 Echo Base Gate(!) 7667 ? Battlepack ? 7668 ? Interesting news, I'd lean towards a Royal Naboo cruiser than the Consular-class cruiser being released - might finally get Padme and Panaka or Typho! Oh yeah, the reason I came to post: The caption thread is at @ pwot.com, a bit adult here-&-there, but funny nonetheless! http://pointlesswasteoftime.com/new_captio...&contest_id=407

The black stormtrooper is not a Dark Trooper! He is a Blackhole Stormtrooper... Databank entry Wookiepedia entry Hope this clears up any confusion! *sweet*

7146 TIE Fighter? - Pilot & Stormtrooper 7163 TIE Fighter? - Pilot & Vader TIE Bomber? - One Pilot TIE Interceptor - One Pilot Final Duel II? - Luke Imperial Inspection? - Vader & Emperor TIE Fighter Collection? -Vader They've hardly put many imperials in *on their own* without core/hero characters, at the most 2 in the 1st TIE fighter.

Aye, the problem is what context TLC puts the landing craft in. For instance they could avoid pauldron stormtroopers by setting it (box cover) inside an star destroyer hanger bay! As opposed to landing on Tatooine and depoying dewbacks & stormtrooper commanders, etc. It'll be the first set to have all imperials with no hero characters present! Quite a departure from the last few years of sets! The fact that they're doing a large set that has less screentime than the T-16 tells you that TLC has basically done all the vehicles justice now, only a few minifigs and creatures left to wrap everything up! Unless you're waiting for all the old figs in flesh..... X-D

Funny how for a tiny while Lego did make an AquaRaiders faction with the Hydronauts and Stingrays (Aquazone 2nd Generation) and now they're calling a different brand by the same name. http://www.brickset.com/search.aspx?Theme=Aquazone -
I was pretty certain that Lando's helmet was going to be made out of the same stuff the exo-force dudes have as hair pieces, that soft, flash-prone plastic, but now the helmet actually looks like it might be normal lego! (The only good that might have come out of the new exo-force hair is that it might be cheaper for lego to produce imperial navy troopers helmet moulds for instance)

Hi there! :D I was somewhat unimpressed with Lego's V-Wing so I decided to improve on their original design. The wings now fold down for landing, and the main hull is a little bulkier. I didn't want to beef it up too much as the fighter is only supposed to be 8m long. I also added those triangular pieces behind the wings/gun attachment. The lower wings are also 1 stud longer now. EDIT by Sinner: Removed links added gallery link and picture. *sweet* It's by no means perfect - I still need to work on the engine pod - but I'm generally pretty happy with it! As always, comments are appreciated! :D RenegadeClone

Slave 1 - I'll be picking up a couple of them eventually!

Neat, the Tech is my favourite thing in the set - with my black kepi hats I might finally have an answer to Imperial Technicians!! :) Is the A-Wing helmet new or just the old motorcycle mold?

18 and 5 months.... and running out of places to store Lego!

The surprise is over, only the v-wing was a 'new' craft, the others are carbon copies of existing designs. What a waste of bandwidth to post teasers! *wacko*

I'll need to buy four of them. I need two pilots for the republic gunship (frees up 2 clones!) and I need to put the dark red droid as R4-P17 in the epII jedi starfighter! The other two can escort the ARC-170. :)
-
2nd last one is up: It looks alright - If you use your hand to cover up the front of it from the cockpit! Well, i'll get some for the pilots, need to have a cool battle breifing scene.

FBTB has posted a slightly clearer image now! Damn, this is excruciating! :|

I just compared the two of them closely, and for the most part, I can change the colour scheme of Boba's to Jango's using the dark blue, black, and white parts from the old one. I'm seriously considering buying two of these and redoing one of them with the colours and parts from Jango's version. Bricklink can supply me with the rest of the parts! *satis*

Back to plastic track eh?! The new system sounds awfully like 4.5 volt. Hopefully TLC will make the best of the infrared system for electric automated lights and crossings etc. A sort of melding of 4.5 & 12v. The best news is that the new infrared trains will be compatible with my 12v railway! History repeats itself!

The move to Digital Command Control (DCC) would mean that the electric track would stay (the signals are sent through the track: read link), but each motor would have to have a microchip in it. I find it unlikely that lego will sell lone chips to install in exsisting motors - they will most likely expect you to buy brand new motors with chips installed! You would also have to buy the equilvilent of a control console for each motor. Think back to the 12V system of chained controls linked to the track. You would buy three controls for three motors (each of the signals sent to one motor) and plug them together into a control board. You could then control each motor individually! Have a read of this: DCC Control
