LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 15 Rumors and Discussion
8BrickMario replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
LEGO does like to get a bang out of their new molds, though,so if the piece is real, I think Princess Macy is entirely possible. -
I knew it was a plume! How on earth could a ponytail come out of a visor, anyway?
-
Well, River's proud of the wild hair...don't know if Alex is.
-
Perhaps she could use the Banshee's hairpiece?
-
I'm less interested in the hero stuff, but I think the villain sets look great. They're very strange and threatening at the same time, while the Fortrex is the only knights set that doesn't strike me as "generic".
-
Funny, guys, but I think everyone would hate you if you were seriously reconsidering the move to Action Themes. Like it or not, there is absolutely nothing historical about this theme. I don't think that stops it from being a Castle theme, but it doesn't fit the "Historic" label at all.

Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion
8BrickMario replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Keep in mind that fleshy figures are a necessity when it comes to characters of different races in licensed properties. Having incompatible torsos is unavoidable for some characters, though. I'd personally love a brickified ballgown like Boudon's/Macy's but I still can't see it happening.- 4,155 replies

Lego Minifigures Series 15 Guessing Game
8BrickMario replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
LEGO already did a gangster, and a Pope would never happen. LEGO doesn't do religious imagery/icons/symbols. -
I'm afraid Merlok won't be a minfigure. He's only ever been shown in holograms, and he wasn't at NYCC, so I don't think he's a physical character or a physical minifigure. It's a shame, too.

Have you seen the Ideas submission for a Disney series? They look just fine with normal minifig eyes.- 4,155 replies

I'm really liking these robots. They're sort of the good-guy version of The LEGO Movie's robots. The chef's face is perfect.

75827 Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters Discussion
8BrickMario replied to kelceycoe's topic in LEGO Licensed
Considering that the Batcave is an earlier release than the HQ, it makes more sense for the HQ to be revealed later. -
I like that the Book of Monsters is considered to be its own character. But if the face on the cover is animated, that ruins the whole idea for me.
-
I like that the early TARDISes are black-and-white!
-
I think so. LEGO probably thought it would be a waste of time to fully reveal the sets most of us already saw in prelim form.
-
11 and 26 are the exact same piece. The shoulder armor is Shredder's. The topper of Jestro's staff was used in several Ninjago sets this year.
-
I like the room on the bottom of the Evil Mobile, and that the lava beast pulls it! The Fortrex opening is cool. Maybe that's how it is when not on the move?
-
There are three. The goofy one that's plain red in one of the sets, and the magma-belly and a really wicked-looking one both in Fortrex.
-
Okay, Scottish? I haven't seen the videos, but that makes me like Jestro even more. I'm only in it for the sets, though. I'm not surprised that the show isn't fantastic. Although it shouldn't be lazy just 'cause it's a kids' show. Ultimate Lavaria will apparently have several of them as her legs.
-
One thing I really like is that all the mini-demons are unique! Sort of another incentive for collecting them all. I definitely need to have all of the baddies, so that means I need the whole theme. So many fantastic new parts, both useful and just plain cool, and the minifigures are great.
-
Yes, he is. Or, at least, a book by the same creator. I wonder what purpose the other magic book (in Fortrex) serves. And what's below the ladder-hatch in the Evilmobile?
-
In Nexo Knights there's a guy who'd be perfect for a custom Dormammu!
-
I'm actually liking those blue soldiers! The colors are bright, but they look pretty good.
-
If you don't like the theme, you are free to say so. But please refrain from repeating it fifty times over. By now, this theme's audience should be clear, so I don't see why you should hang around after realizing it's not your thing. I, for one, think this theme is very creative and fresh. Silly is not bad, and I think this theme excels at the "cool factor" it's going for. It's not supposed to make sense, it's supposed to entertain.

Whoever she is, I need that hair. I like Robin's hair in that color, but the Queen is probably the worst one they've done. She's so bland!
