    It's just showing a lack of creativity. There are definitely a few colors/shades they haven't done, so to have nearly-identical series colors, like 1 and 12, 8 and 14, or 4 and 15 is frustrating.

    If it's a big set exceeding the price of $120, then it's almost certainly a D2C, because it's impressive and has collector's value. It also makes it more sought-after when the only way to buy it is through the source.

    I feel really stupid, but what are the realms? If it's some big "universal canon" theory, then meh. I think LEGO's own attempts to connect the themes are quite pathetic. I like the bios for the characters!

    Since the coin piece has been discontinued, money is now represented by tiles and studs. But it's still a nice detail.

    The name "Misical Muxels" physically hurts my pedantic language-loving mind, so I'm glad they went with Mixies. I like Tapsy's Beatles homage.

    I think the park is a bad tie-in to the Bank, if that's what it is. The fountain/bench don't go anywhere (perhaps in the courtyard) and nothing connects it to the Bank at all. I do like the crystals and golden frogs, though. With all this crime in the city, I expect the next set to be an art museum!

    I think a bank is very interesting, since we've never gotten a proper one before. On topic, the release date is now stated to be July next year, which probably means no news from NYCC.

    Ultimate Destroyer looks great. I just wish capes/collars were included in the custom characters. I'd be making some vampires if they were.

    What I want to know is what people will do with the courtyard formed by a complete block. Since it would only be accessible through the buildings' back doors and the plates are all different colors, it would be interesting to see what it looks like.

    That sounds interesting. Maybe it's more of an exo-armor with his real arms operating it. He is part-giant, though, so it might not be.

    I don't understand why you expect everyone's tastes to agree with yours. Your opinion is not technically correct, even if it is valid.

    They probably wouldn't make an armless torso, so I think it's a faux-torso molded into the armor.

    Purple, LEGO. Purple. Grey is an awful color. It's dull and depressing, and doesn't do anything to say "Hey! This series is lots of fun!" There are a few colors they haven't done yet, and this color is terrible for Disney. If not for the Simpsons, I'd expect light blue.

    The tan effect is mostly due to the ridges in the pillars, but the lighting and colors were wrong in general.

    I'd like to see a proper modular skyscraper someday, but I'd never be able to afford one. Honestly, I like to leave the facades as is. They look fine, and short and tall buildings exist in the same areas. I'd rather have a playable interior than a bare one.

    Don't count on it. The image itself is merely a teaser. I'm hoping the factory will show off something, but they're the only source of info besides LEGO's own teasers and the list.

    I don't understand why all of the pics were pulled though. I get the licensed stuff, but why are tooth monsters considered so important? Everyone's already seen them anyway, so pulling them down is pointless to me. However, I am glad I decided to save this time. I can't stop looking at these sets!

    Oh, what a letdown. I was wondering if that was the piece they meant. Yeah, that piece isn't even close to new.

    The pin tile/stamp and the scrolls have already appeared in Friends sets, but they're great pieces, and the pin tile is so practical.

    I'm desperately hoping that whenever LEGO figures out that , hey, maybe we want a new Poison Ivy minifigure, they decide to use that new hair. It's fantastic.
