I thought about that, but Angry Birds will be a one-off theme, and the movie will probably last for a very short time in the public mind. Wait, how is the Doctor Who level accessible when the pack to unlock it isn't in the first wave?

That would be nice, but I'd expect him to be capeless. I don't think a short Batman cape would be very useful.

Nobody else is new, so she most certainly will be the old 2012 version. The only new Catwoman will be the '66 version.

Okay, I totally need this game and everything associated with it. I'll need every add-on pack because I would hate to miss any of the gameplay experience. I probably wont' be able to get the proper game for a while, maybe Christmas, but I'll be collecting packs in the meantime. One other thing I like about this game is that it may be difficult and expensive, but it'll be possible to experience everything, since there's no Wii U-incompatible DLC!

The Hammer Truck set in the original Batman theme had Batman riding a Pod-style Batcycle. What a tease with that image! Hopefully the characters won't require leg printing, so regular-size ones can be used...The characters shouldn't be micro, too.

That's a really good point. I always loved hunting for character tokens. However, there's an upside. In the other games, there were always so many new characters in them that weren't available in physical form. Here, the opposite is true-almost all of the new characters are real minifigures!

Every single LEGO game I've played has had this happen. I'm playing around minding my own business, when: BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP......and game is frozen and I have to unplug the system. I don't know why it happens.

There's a series of a German team of football (soccer in the U.S.) players, presumably similar to Team GB. There's a thread for it.

I think it'll be a mix of the classic cartoon characters, the classic animated film characters, and maybe one or two Pixar characters.

I'm almost certain Winston will have a team pack with Ray or Egon or a solo pack as a way for LEGO to give us that new hair in a cheaper set. Or is it just me wanting a way to avoid buying the Falcon or GB HQ for it?

That doesn't look like the Mechanic hair...new piece, or bad picture quality?

Okay, now that I've gotten over my delighted shock of having the whole series, here are my final thoughts: * Banshee: A fantastic figure, with a great design and some very nice parts. * Wacky Witch: Such a perfect representation of a Halloween witch. She does everything really well. * Gargoyle: Another perfect design, who's very unique and useful in several ways. * Monster Scientist: I'm quite fond of his wacky design, and it's very cleverly executed. * Spider Lady: Elegantly spooky, and just over-the-top enough to work really well. One of the highlights of the series. * Fly Monster: He's bizarrely adorable, and just a very nice design. The claw hand is great, and the head is perfectly done. * Tiger Woman: I have mixed thoughts. She's a bit awkward and confused in design as is, but I love her printing and colors. If they went all the way with the monster design and made her head and hands orange, I'd like her much more. * Specter: He's a bit basic, but he does a good job of being a classic spook, and he's pretty cute, too. * Zombie Pirate: One of my least favorites. On his own he's okay, but his design really bugs. By apparently abandoning the S8 Pirate Captain design along the way and ultimately making him a separate character, they weakened the design and made him less interesting to me. * Zombie Businessman: I really like him. His suit and hairpiece are great, and he's quite expressive. * Skeleton Guy: A cleverly-done idea, and very nicely printed. He's another winner! * Zombie Cheerleader: Cute, and adds some variety to the zombies. I like her. * Square Foot: I think he's underwhelmingly designed, but still a great character to have. * Plant Monster: He's rather colorful and eye-catching, and works well as either a costume or monster. * Wolf Guy: I love the call back to Series 5, and for a standalone character, he's done really well. * Monster Rocker: This one is actually a really solid minifigure with some good parts...I just don't care for the idea.

Some of the potential characters won't need specialized heads, like Peter Pan, but the nose problem comes in if some have molded heads with noses, but the regular ones don't.

I should just stop reading this thread, shouldn't I? By now, I'm completely sold but despairing inwardly at the cost of this monster.

The Witch looks amazing/ She's my first purchase when I find these.

LEGO would definitely lose more sales from bag-feelers. And that's most of the CMF buyers I know of. Without a fair way to determine which minifigure you're buying, the collection would be less fun, as it would be forcing the blind aspect rather than leaving it as an option. I still think Mr. Good and Evil should have been an S10 figure. I heard someone suggest it, and it would have been so perfectly mean of them!

Microfigure? Or, more exciting, an official baby figure?

I seriously doubt Phil and Pocahontas would be in the first Disney series. Maybe a future one, but the two series are almost certainly separate.

They're separate series. Perhaps the date is wrong. Orange isn't a particularly Disneyish color, anyway.
