  1. It's a theory, yes, but I doubt that's LEGO's intent. Either there's an answer and they've gotten it screwed up, the company itself is fighting about it, or LEGO themselves don't know what gender Flama is supposed to be. But for now, we can assume anything until we get official word.
  2. Animals such as....? You don't see quite as much wildlife near a magma-filled mountain.
  3. Those Djinn Blades would make great ornamental pieces in an underworld setting.
  4. You'll get your wish, he's been confirmed for the summer wave.
  5. I feel that we'll probably get Shazam and Bizarro someday, since they're too important to never release in the main sets. But for now, it was an ill-advised decision made by a company who was still thinking only of Batman.
  6. Well, we were just talking about how the past years have had less desirable characters as exclusives. If anything, they've gotten much better.
  7. The exclusives won't ever make everyone happy. But these days, LEGO's tended to make obscure characters or variations that nobody but the most hardcore fans would be angry about missing. They also don't tie in with current sets to avoid making you feel like you're missing a part of your collection, so by that logic, comics Alfred and '66 Batgirl wouldn't be exclusives.
  8. Yeah, reevaluating my thoughts has brought me to the conclusion that this is not worth the full price. Yeah, it's a great piece of nostalgia, but the cave itself has little to play with other than the excellent right side, and the figures can only take it so far. Definitely going to wait for some VIP points and gift cards to make it easier to buy, because, for once, I wouldn't feel satisfied in the end for the price they're asking. I do want it, but it's less exciting to me than the HQ, which packs in a lot more for its price.
  9. It is indeed Wayne Manor, and my favorite part of the set, as you can physically slide back the bookshelf and send them down into the Batcave. I wonder if there's a two-stage stopper mechanism to halt the civvies and deploy the superheroes? That would really add to it, and the box shows Dick and Bruce going in, but Batman and Robin coming down.
  10. I know it was a typo, but that made me laugh. Dorothy Fun Pack with dismembered Munchkin! Cowardly Lion comes with the skull of a Winged Monkey! Tin Man and Scarecrow with chunks of the decimated Emerald City!
  11. What I want to know is why people never seem to have good cameras when they find something like this. Surely a closeup or better focused picture could have been taken?
  12. $270? Yeah, I'm using saved VIP points if I'm getting this. It's not too horribly overpriced, but should be at least $20 less. It just feels visually less interesting than it should be, and the large stud wall probably contributes to it. For such a bright, campy, series, this set looks rather dull with its colors, although it is appropriately cavey. I do really want this set, but I'm hoping for gift cards and VIP points from the GBHQ (my main birthday wish) to lower the price for this one. I do love the office area and sliding bookshelf, though. The right side is probably the best part of the set, but the rest looks rather spare.
  13. I hope for all four heroes, because they're all iconic, and it would be a waste of the license to not include them. Due to their relationship, I'd expect Dorothy and the Scarecrow as a Team Pack, and the Cowardly Lion and Tin Woodman might be Fun Packs. Builds could be the living trees, the hot-air balloon, a bed of poppies to put enemies to sleep, and maybe something from Munchkin Town?
  14. If you're referring to the armor, it has been released in green. A couple of pages back, I showed it off on Green Lantern.
  15. I understand. I think the big thing people aren't liking is the large studded wall, but I heard the idea that it's for scaling the wall with the rope...not likely, though. I'll texture it up a bit. The only other issue is that this set needs to be a playset, but I'm not seeing much functionality here, besides the possibility of something in the reactor. I do love the office (which seems like it could be its own vignette if removed) and the classic vehicles, but I want more to convince me that this will make me feel no regret when I get it.
  16. ...only to be inevitably published again within a week. Seriously, what's the point? Also, yes, I suppose Batgirl would be possible with the old cowl, but since they didn't do that here, then LEGO might have thought it was a stretch, too. But if she's an exclusive, at least I can vindictively say that she doesn't look right... Honestly, I don't think it'll happen. It would have been like the idea of making Raven one, that is, a figure that clearly ties into a set/collection of characters. That's jsut cruel, to make someone buy a set for a team of heroes and then make one of them limited-release. I feel that 60's Batgirl was too important to qualify for the obscure characters they now use.
  17. New mold required, remember? That means no event exclusivity unless they ruin the figure with the older piece.
  18. WB and Sega vs. Disney and Nintendo, eh? Sonic seems a bit spiteful toward the amiibo market, and honestly, I couldn't care less about him.
  19. As much as I prefer villain figures, I sort of agree, but there is justification. I think it's the molds thing again. D2Cs don't really have new molds, just recolors. If there's a new part, it's a building element seen elsewhere in the year's sets. Thus, the need to use the Catwoman hair in S14 first, and the lack of a Batgirl, whose hair/cowl would need a new mold.
  20. Unless this is meant to be a hint, I wouldn't expect it. This set will represent the most iconic part of the show, and I think the most famous characters have been covered. Sure, Batgirl would be great, but I can't see them making more sets when most of the show's icons are here.
  21. Is it just me, or would Nexo Knights' Flama work as a Ghostbusters character? Some sort of "fireplace spirit" or something. Her skeletal face and lower body make her seem more spectral.
  22. I think J2G said the "S" on the rumored initials list of packs for the future stood for "Scooby-Doo".
  23. Probably the LEGO Brand Store offer during the initial release, being a bonus for purchasing anything over [insert amount here].
  24. I think that would be redundant, though, as Ninjago's Nadakhan uses almost exactly the same parts. If we do get one, I'd expect one closer to the Boudon design, with the genie tail and Snake Charmer's turban.
  25. Too much for $120. I think it was said to be over, so perhaps $200 at the very least.
