  1. Ghost Cole looks pretty nice, but not like Cole.
  2. HUGE Dimensions day for me today. I bought all of the level packs (Simpsons, Portal, Doctor Who, BttF), Jurassic World, Scooby-Doo, Cragger, Zane, Wonder Woman, and Legolas. I still need Unikitty, Emmet, and Gollum, and am waiting with anticipation for Doc Brown, the Cyberman, Aquaman, Stay Puft, Venkman, and Slimer. I've been playing the Doctor Who level, and I really enjoy the idea of switching between time periods to alter the other.
  3. Wonder Woman would probably be paired with Cheetah to make our exasperation at the lack of a proper one more intense.
  4. Saw all of the Ultimates (minus Lance), the Evil Mobile, and the Fortrex at my B&N. Picked up Aaron and Lavaria, which are pretty nice. I'm glad to have both of the new firing bow weapons as well.
  5. This series? Far from it. There's info, but no pics.
  6. I've been wondering what I want to do about this set. I'm either thinking of making it the sole, huge item to ask for for my birthday (in March, long wait) or to figure out another way to get it. Right now, I have about half the money I need, plus perhaps some VIP points to take off a little...I really want this set, but it looks like a longish wait for me.
  7. If it is February...curses. I don't want to say this, but I want it to be released in March, so I don't have to wait as long before my birthday! But the good news is that we'll probably get info soon.
  8. Yes. You're not using the Wicked Witch. In all seriousness, though, I don't understand why the vehicle explosives seem to have problems. I haven't needed them, but it should work better. I'm going to go get some more packs today, as I got a pretty good amount of Christmas money. I haven't worked it all out yet, but as many level packs, new-world characters, and puzzle-solvers as possible.
  9. I'm going out looking today, but I don't think I'll be buying from this theme yet. Also, don't expect Nexo Knights from the Entertainer. They won't carry anything related to magic or the occult/supernatural. Considering that the theme's antagonists are borderline demons summoned from magic books, there's no chance of them selling it.
  10. Unless they really want to push it, I doubt that'll happen. Until it proves to stand the test of time, it's unlikely to get figures.
  11. That's the case over here in the US, too. I usually think "someone who watches kids", not "hired from a business". A nurse for newborns would be interesting, but I don't think she'd be described as a babysitter.
  12. Both Hook and Peter Pan have swords, and Arthur is not something many people would think of. Mulan would be good. I agree. They were just suggestions for a potential second Pixar pair. As discussed before, Mike and Sulley would be difficult to make as minifigures, or at least, made to look good. It's possible, though.
  13. ...then why not sell them everywhere? Delaying a CMF series in certain parts of the world is really unfair.
  14. For Pixar, the pairs could be: Woody and Buzz Joy and Sadness Carl and Russell
  15. Maybe a checklist of things to do from the parents? I don't think LEGO would promote young motherhood, but when I think "babysitter", I don't think of someone from a service or company. Could be interesting depending on what they do. I'm wondering what the Spooky Boy might come with. A skeleton teddy would go nicely to match the Spooky Girl, but if he's like Pugsley, I expect something mad-sciency. Perhaps a flask with solid grey "liquid"?
  16. Those are usually a spare part wherever they appear. Same goes for the Lighthouse, where they're used as railings.
  17. Here's a pic showing off the fixed America Chavez.
  18. Well, regardless, I don't think Pete's worthy of a first-wave appearance. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Pluto, and Goofy are much more well-known.
  19. Thing is, Friends parts are rarely used with minifigures. Midwife? Do you mean like at a convent? I think "babysitter" here refers to an enterprising teenage girl watching someone's kids.
  20. He'll be disappointed to find out that it's apparently a February release...
  21. There is a LEGO Brand Store in Rockefeller Center, if you can stand the crowds.
  22. Probably more like Pugsley, since the Spooky Girl was more like Wednesday- apparently human, but spooky nonetheless. When pics come out, I call using him as my avatar. I love my monochrome minifigs!
  23. That is sort of horrible. Give someone else a chance to buy it! And it's idiotic to buy out sets when they're days from mass release. Who are you going to fool by reselling them? I think I can wait for the news, honestly, I'm still not quite done processing this year.
