  1. That's a bit odd. You'd think there'd only be one instance of penguins in the series.
  2. If you prefer the comics sets, then it should be a no-brainer! I generally prefer the lighter tone to the comic-book sets, which understand the inherent silliness of comics a lot better than the DCCU, and the minifigures are always much more interesting to me.
  3. NOOO! I can't wait that long. I thought it was some time around February!
  4. Not really. He was a big figure in sets about the same time as polybag minifig Hulk came out.
  5. No. The only difference is the addition of a brick-built venom pack on his back.
  6. I think Scarecrow, Blue Beetle, Killer Moth, and Harley Quinn are great minifigures, as well as the 1966 Joker. The worst would have to be the farmer and maybe Katana, whose hair just doesn't look right to me.
  7. I'm surprised no one is rejoicing that they gave Scarlet Witch the correct magic color!
  8. Is it me, or does Hobgoblin's cape look like a new cut on the box art?
  9. There isn't one, they're trying to make us think the reactor is.
  10. I enjoy the cartoonish look of the Scooby-Doo world, but to be honest, that's all I think it has going for it. The Simpsons world is pretty fun, as is Aperture Science if you're fine with getting lost.
  11. Again, I pray it's not a costume (total waste) but three costumes could happen. Why not? They might be building on a trick-or-treat subset of costumes, though. Pics and leaks can't come soon enough!
  12. I've discovered a great little skill game to play: The Portal Rocket Jump! Basically, it takes advantage of the physics of falling into a portal and jumping out of one above, using a pair of portal tiles behind Burns' mansion. Instead of using the momentum to land on the black Aperture platforms, stay airborne and fall toward the bottom portal again and again. f you aim well enough, you should hit the ceiling of the world's boundary sphere after a few falls.
  13. It's precedented! I really want a penguin suit, and there's nothing saying it won't be female. We just had a guy, so I hope this one would be a girl.
  14. Wait a minute. What if she's a costume like the Unicorn Girl? It would be a fun idea, and could easily reuse the flipper arms in black. That way, we'd get an animal and a henchman for Batman's foe!
  15. I thought usually the USD number was usually lower than the GBP.
  16. I'll take it. I thought originally that this was going to be quite a bit more expensive, and it's not too shabby (content-wise, not aesthetically) for that price.
  17. I just had to highlight that wonderful accidental pun.
  18. No. It's either blank or a new print showing Drury Walker's face.
  19. I accept the Elves minidolls, as their designs to have a sort of magical beauty to them that makes me forget they're minifigures. The fixed hands will always bother me, but the body type works for the Elves really well.
  20. That's her finishing move. While I'd adore minifigures of the heroes, Dorothy is the only one I can justify gameplay-wise. I fear a Ghosbusters situation, with only Dorothy being sold to give access to the whole team.
  21. Of all the models, Zane's Tumbler interests me the most, but the real highlights of the wave are Echo Zane and Sensei Yang, so I'm going to have to see. I'll probably get the lighthouse for EZ and a better way to get Nadakhan, but I don't know if I can justify the Raider. Reviews will tell.
  22. I don't believe Moth has ever been seen under the helmet, so LEGO didn't really have much to go on.
  23. I don't care if they look the same, it really bugs me that all three Spider-heroes have the exact same head. And I like Scarlet Witch's coat. It think it blends in more seamlessly than a full cloak, and it takes up less space.
  24. I believe at least one franchise is supposed to be expanded, so I hope that's not true. If LEGO gets a new license, they should use it. For Oz, I had some more ideas. Tin Woodman would be able to chop down vines, and Dorothy could use Slipper Spots to teleport to a hidden area in the level, like the TARDIS and DeLorean. Scarecrow and Lion, though...
  25. You know what, I give up. She's "Woman with Penguin" for now.
