  1. I've planned to build a new vehicle for Boomerang- I'm thinking some sort of plane/biplane with boomerang-shaped wings. I tried a mockup of that in Photoshop, and I wasn't pleased with the result. I think both Scarecrows look best with their own headgear.
  2. Ragana looks really nice. She's younger than I thought, but I think that's a good thing, and her evil face is much appreciated.
  3. Of course. Someone posts a great high-quality video of the minifigure turntables, and Marvel is absent. Really?
  4. Echo Zane looks really nice, but what's with Kozu and Zane's striped shirts? Are those placeholders? And it seems LEGO will stop at nothing to keep reusing the black/red jester hat. Yang looks nice, but the lack of new ghost colors is a bit disappointing. It's accurate, sure, but I already have his tail from the Banshee.
  5. I'm so surprised. Actually, I think Scarecrow's face looks rather Arkham-ish. I'm not crazy about the random patch on the forehead, but I still think he's a worthy successor to the Arkham one, and definitely looks more like his namesake. I thought I liked the basic Moth from the games, but I do have to say that it looked like nothing. This version is taken from the days of detail in the comics which make him look vaguely mothlike.
  6. I tried to, but it embedded automatically.
  7. DC figs at the end! Scarecrow and Beetle look great! And Moth's wings seem to be solid here.
  8. Accidental repost. Hmm...what to say? Oh! I like Killer Moth now. I think the detailed helmet is a good thing, as it actually resembles his namesake. Gas Mask Batman looks promising, and is necessary for the Bat's prepared nature to be represented.
  9. Thank you! Scarecrow's face is interesting-perhaps more gleefully evil on the other side?
  10. I must be the only one who's fine with his face, then. It's just the hair that looks a bit off to me.
  11. I was referring to Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, and Portal, not the themes that had no new minifigures. Doctor Who is certainly popular, but the others are, too.
  12. Probably won't happen. Disney had the placeholder grey, but now that it's correct, the S16 box should be, too.
  13. Ah, I hadn't looked at the design for a while. That's why his eyes are surrounded by darkness. I'd love a second face! I'm wondering what Moth will look like under the helmet. Have we ever seen Walker's face? Surely it's not a molded head... Also, the similarities are uncanny: Joker Steam Roller vs. Fear Harvest * Vehicle with front roller * Vehicle with front roller * 3 heroes, 2 villains * 2 heroes, 2 villains, a civilian * Flying Bat-vehicle * Flying Bat-vehicle * Gas-based weaponry * Gas-based weaponry * Sidekick in peril? * Citizen in peril * 2 builds * 3 builds So the farmer's inclusion is the only major difference between the sets!
  14. That's a bit narrow-minded, but I get that the exclusive characters/new franchises are definitely a good idea for selling sets, but everywhere I go, the unoriginal ones like Laval, Gollum, etc. are still on the shelves untouched. So while exclusive characters and the new properties are definitely drawing people to the game, the prices are going to restrict people's purchases to only the select few they really want.
  15. I'm not quite sure that compares, as no new molds were present that indicated something related, and a theme would be difficult to construct around the idea.
  16. While we don't have any 2017 rumors...yet...it seems that there are quite a handful of new pieces that suggest a hospital theme or modular building. Now we have crutches, a head bandage, a wheelchair, and a baby, so it seems logical that they might all show up in a medical environment in the future. We're long overdue for a proper hospital in any form, so these new parts seem to be hinting toward something... Thoughts?
  17. I literally just noticed the mech's tentacle feet. Now I love it and need it.
  18. Ah. Thanks. Now Cyborg will be more useful to me than I thought, as there are also some pesky underwater gold walls which won't send me a hero anymore.
  19. Oh. I looked too quickly, and didn't see it off to the side. Yeah, same old boring yellow as ever.
  20. *sigh* Still no closeup of Hobgoblin... And to be honest, I'm not sold on Ghost Rider's hair. The closeup didn't make it look much better to me.
  21. Scarecrow looks...interesting. Still can't make it out, but I may or may not hate his new face. He looks like he's wearing goggles...? Moth looks better, but I didn't realize the farmer was a hilbilly type.
  22. Agreed. But if LEGO doesn't see sense and lower their prices, it may also be the shortest-lived TTL game. So, I'm one minikit short in The Final Dimension, and that's a hovering cracked wall with the strength-spot on its underside. How do I break it? Do I need Harley's hammer to throw at it? Oh, well. Harley and Joker are on my want-list, so I'll get around to it someday.
  23. I'm sorry, but I was talking to someone else. And there is a thread for wishlists.
  24. Alright, we need to petition LEGO now. No one messes with Aunt May!
