  1. Can Bane's tank drill downward, though?
  2. I wasn't trying to state a fact, rather, I was trying to state why people don't feel the price is reasonable. I'm not saying others can't like it, but I was illustrating why people aren't happy with the price.
  3. I think the point people are making is not its price, but its price for value. I'm sure many people will be able to afford it, but there are several reasons for people to feel that the set simply isn't worth the high price. It's neither an attractive display piece or a very playable playset, and it looks generally unfinished on each module. The minifigures are fantastic, but the model itself is lacking in many ways. So people aren't necessarily complaining about the price, but that the price isn't justifiable.
  4. If you want them because you're a fan of the show (let's face it, the sets have almost nothing to do with it in the game), that's fine, but practically, you only need one ninja for gameplay, although there are different ability combinations.
  5. Dang, it looks like I was too late for the puns. I guess I'll just pretend and ride the wave... Also, while I would love a Pinocchio figure, I don't think he'd be S1 material, and even then, he'd be tricky to make. I can't see them shelling out for a head with a hole in it, especially because the curved surface would be awkward.
  6. You don't even need to change the structure, as long as you're fine with two in front, two in back. Removing the kitchenette setup leaves two seats in the back, and sitting Scooby can look into the front.
  7. Strange. I don't know if I'm missing any lost episodes, but I have what's billed as the "complete" Hartnell series on DVD, including the first serials.
  8. I realize that it's very hypocritical to make a post, but it's clear that you're trying to keep a stagnant topic running by posting things which have little value due to their already being said. I like the set, too, but for a press-revealed one, the potential for discussion ran out quickly.
  9. Whatever the case, they were convinced that this film wouldn't do the existing continuity justice, and you're only proving the point by being upset anyway. It's just a film, made to entertain and make money.
  10. If more people voice negative opinions, there's a better chance of them being heard by LEGO. People need to know when a set has problems, and multiple people expressing the same opinion isn't redundant. That's only the case when one person repeats their point many times.
  11. The reason it's a reboot is because they didn't think anything they could do as a sequel would satisfy the fanbase. By doing this, they'll still attract a lot of fans, but they won't have to deal with canon-based anger from those who don't like it.
  12. DeLoreans are timeless? It's one of the most dated cars today, only still known because of the movies! But I do sort of agree. The original car looks good, but the new one isn't bad. I'm not going to get hung up on the car when there are characters and plot to worry about.
  13. Umm...the two look very different, and seeing as the hat would likely incorporate the hair, it wouldn't work for DC's at all.
  14. I think the big reason is probably color. I don't recall if or where dark red hinge bricks have appeared before, so they'd have to be ordered extra off Bricklink.
  15. They're an ancient Japanese breed and unrelated to Corgis in any way. Also, Best in Show is a great movie, but Gerry (in Tragic Banjo's picture) was just a contestant, but, seeing as he's a main character, he's recognizable in the proper context.
  16. That movie makes me hopeful that SD is just taking a break for 2016 and will come back next year, a la SpongeBob. I want this minifigure so badly (from the movie, apparently).
  17. Intentional or not, it's still a pathetic excuse for why we've gotten such an underwhelming set.
  18. Doge is actually a Shiba Inu. I'm guessing the dog will be small-to-medium. I'm guessing a poodle, either standard or toy.
  19. If they make Zoom an exclusive, then I'm sure the comic-based Reverse Flash would be in the works. My only interest is in the comic-based characters, so, in that regard, I've been quite pleased with LEGO recently.
  20. Why is this a question? The first Jafar is the most recognizabe look, and the only one marketed. Why would the minifigure be any different?
  21. While putting the Babysitter in charge of the Spooky Boy would be a fun idea, I fear that it's make him too young, when I'd prefer him to be about the same age/height as his (presumed) sister.
  22. We're not getting genie Jafar. It'll be his human form for sure. Are you referring to the list with the Inside Out emotions? That's long since been confirmed to be fake.
  23. The show's not for everyone, especially those who prefer Batman "played straight" (in quotes because Batman is honestly taking itself too seriously these days), but for those who like it, the set's a good one. However, many, myself included, are saying that it's been one of the worst D2Cs yet, due to a lack of play value, display value, and a general "unfinishedness" to the model. It's a shame the minifigures are so excellent, since the set's not very good.
  24. I don't think LEGO would be as cynical as that, and to not include a baby at all would be a very odd decision.
  25. While I think a dummy or scary doll would be excellent for the Spooky Boy, I can't see the reason for two babies other than confusing bag-feelers. LEGO's done that before, though, so it could happen.
