  1. She'd be a nice way to introduce a minifigure mushroom accessory to be used later in the all-but-confirmed forest subtheme of Nexo Knights.
  2. I see why they chose him, since his "gothic whimsy" seemed like it would work quite well for the strange Wonderland, and the idea of it becoming darker to reflect her age is an intriguing one, but that wasn't what Alice was about. It was a silly nonsense story to entertain a little girl boating at Oxford, and it did a great job of it. Dissertation aside, it'll definitely be the classic version, as that's the iconic Alice image that people think of when the story is mentioned. I don't know what she'd come with, though. Most likely a printed brick and a stud to look like a "Drink Me" bottle, and maybe a playing card? I'd love a Cheshire Cat, but I think he'd be too big.
  3. I think the three animals was just a misunderstanding, not something from a source.
  4. Would the owners post a few pictures of the Book? I'm not asking for every page, but some cover shots would be nice. Also, besides some minor spelling changes, why should the US version be so much later than the British one?
  5. Ah, that makes sense. An arctic photographer with a penguin included...yeah, I like that.
  6. I think classic Alice will be used. The film version is less visually interesting costume-wise. Besides, 1951 Alice is classic for a reason.
  7. That would be great, but he was a commentator, not a judge. I imagine someone older, so it shouldn't be the ponytail. I'd also like the dog to be a dachsund, to give to Harley Quinn.
  8. Interesting. A dog judge sounds nice, and I'm intrigued by the Arabian Knight.
  9. I've heard the Dimensions rumors, too. It won't give us anything new, though. Probably just Fred and Velma.
  10. Information can't be given if there isn't any. Patience.
  11. Honestly, the black armor is a bit too techy for me. It looks much less knightly, and just a black and blue blob with a vague medieval armor impression.
  12. I think Dimensions is the likeliest, due to TTG being a rumored franchise. I just hate the TTG design, so I'm crossing my fingers that they go closer to the LB3 route.
  13. I'll admit, the set got me on board with the film. But I don't think it can be awful. just mediocre at worst. It's helmed by talented SNL comedians (like the original) and. while I think the decision to reboot vs. make a sequel is primarily out of fear of the original fanbase, I think this could be interesting. If the film has the same creativity and humor but a different plot, it may become more popular than GB 2, if not on par with the first. And I've said this on Brickset, but if the film flops, we still got an excellent set with a lot of effort put into it. Three new hairpieces, a more practical Ecto design, and some superb minifigures (usually I don't care about the hero minifigs, but this is the exception).
  14. Disney would never allow that, they're very serious about keeping the magic alive in the parks.
  15. I have to say, fork-hand somehow seems incredibly generic to me. It helps that you can't even pin down a theme he belongs to.
  16. I don't think the extra head and torso for Holtzmann are in this set. It most likely got mixed in with the promotional photos and is going to be in the Dimensions sets. And I agree. The outdated ponytail with bangs would actually look better on Erin than the new one.
  17. Stass Allie was the first black female, though she wasn't exactly human. I really appreciate the recent hairpieces for black people, though.
  18. I feel like a traitor saying this (let it be known that I love the originals) but I think I prefer the new 'Busters in minifigure form. The new hair and maybe even the uniform color is more visually interesting to me than Venkman and co's figures.
  19. That's a great mockup. And I still don't know why, but I love Jillian's hairpiece. No real reason, I just do. Since the full set image didn't show any spare parts, it can be assumed that Holtzmann is one version in the car, another in Dimensions. EDIT: I just realized- why are the car the logo, and the proton packs the same? It's been stated that, in this film, Ghostbusters never happened. Awfully coincidental that this new version would come across the same car, same license plate, same ghost-fighting packs, and same logo. If you're gonna pander, let it make sense.
  20. Looking again, I have to agree. At least painting the ears or horns dark grey would have helped. We'll have to see the demon's design in the film (if it's even in the film) to be sure.
  21. Well, at least there's something to complain about...heaven forbid we enjoy a set.
  22. It can be dangerous to hold out for something when you're not positive it's going to happen.
  23. That makes me feel that the gargoyle horns at least are ruled out for the imp. The wings are probably going to be done in solid black, but seeing the set using the piece, I think they're more likely to develop a new mold.
  24. Yates, Holtzmann, and Tollan's hair are all new pieces! So yes!
