I've been thinking of making a big order of brick bricks but cant bring myself to do it yet. keep hoping the individual prices will come down. That said it seems Poland has some very good prices for most things but I have no experience ordering from there. I have a few sellers that I know I can order one day and have my parts within two to three business days.

thanks guys, I can't take total credit for the crane. I remember seeing something a year or two ago but can't find it again but I rememberd the use of the skeleton arm for the neck and just kind of went from their. I have had it built for a few weeks and basically just wanted to show it off so I built this little scene. I was lucky about two years ago, I loaded up on plant pieces from PAB walls. so I have shoe box plastic container filled with leaf pieces, and a couple PAB cups with grass pieces. I also scored a 9 cypress trees (and 60 other various trees) for $25 from a local Craiglist find about nine months ago. I need to work thos cypress trees into a buld soon

Before the days of Victor Revolword and the Corrupt Hand, life was much relaxed and peaceful. Jars would spend his day down by the stream catching fish, dreaming of beautiful women. Some days, he would go all day with out a bite, but it was always good day sitting by the stream. A good day for Jars. Once again waiting on some BL orders but they have been mailed. that is the problem with getting started too early for me as I constantly change things right up until the day or two before the deadline. I might do another small vignette of some sort just to step away from the big build and work on something small and basically mindless! Looking forward to seeing everyone's builds

Im working with staff to run a contest. It has been agreed in principle but need to work out a couple details before posting the details. Hold on a couple more days. but the basic idea is to build a scene based on daily life in Varlyrio. Glad your raring to go kabel!

There should be a new challenge for Varlyrio the new fifth guild shortly. As all contest now have to be approved by staff, It has been approved in principle and just working out the details and should be coming out in a few days!

lots of great details here! I am currently building for the Guilds of Historica Challenge and I really like your watch tower. mine was looking too 'bulky" but yours looks great! I may have to adopt that build for my MOC. Great job all around!

I have some ideas for builds but my brick count is being eaten up by Challenge V. I also want to do some Varlyrio builds and run a challenge with the fifth guild as well. other than that I seem to be pretty busy with life right now. things like working around the house is getting in the way with my build time!

If you want to create a character or two that your sigfig is interacting with and they keep showing up in other builds thats cool. I'm still waiting on some guidance so what ever I have told you might be wrong anyhow!

personally, I think the intention was to have your sigfig visit Varlyrio (meeting with a merchants, adventuring in the Inland Sea, an encounter with pirates off shore, at the wharf or docks or even just on trip to enjoy Varlyrio's capital.) and not to create another character and abandoning your old one. I don't think anyone wants to take away from the existing guilds. My first build is the Minitry of Trade, i envision a large hall type structure, with a detailed facade and have several merchants meeting.

I added some history and more details to the first post. Start thinking of some ideas for builds! .

some great details here. like the roof on teh little shed next to the house and the trees. I also like the use of the beard for hair, And a fine job with the story too!

It is my understanding that anyone can build in Varlaryio and still maintain their current guild. I plan on continuing in Avalonia with my character as long as I can do both effectively. I am working on setting up a community build and/or mini challenge for Varlaryio and have a build I want to started it off with. Love for details in the next week or two. In the mean time, I will continue to expand upon the background in the first post so people will have even more ideas for builds! thanks again everyone for the support and look forward to getting the party started! has anyone bought the Hobbit game yet? was interested if the tile pieces where printed or stickers. Also is the tile piece the new 2x2 inverted tile like in the Ninjago Samurai Mech?

There were so many good entries I am surprised that I won, but I am grateful mine was chosen. Not just because of the great prize but because I have some great ideas for builds that I wanted to start on! I mentioned it before the crash but I want to start a community build or a small contest to help build up the new guild. Don't expect it until the Challenge V starts to wind down though but I will post some details later once I know exactly what is expected of me as guild leader.

And We'are back! Surprising how much I got done around the house while Eurobricks was down! I did do some major building on my Challenge V and started the first build for the fifth guild, Varlyrio as well. On top of that, I also created a flickr account so look for some of my past creations their. That said I will likely post the majority of my photos in my smugmug account as I like the ease of uploading and other feature, plus I don't have a limits with them and can post a lot more photos How did you spend your time?

thanks for the comments guys. @rouge I was going for something along hovel come homestead come shelter for the house. I was trying for a thatched roof of sorts. hope that came off. @kai The sheriff nailing up the notice was the spark that I built the MOC around. Most the time I start small like that and build out from there. @NM glad you noticed the Deer skull, I was pretty proud of them and I imagine they will pop up in my builds from time to time! Most the citizens of Circardia are an independent sort. It is known as place for those looking to start over and forget their past, for one reason or another. Lord Arlindus doesn't judge based on ones past, only their deeds and actions since settling in Circardia, the same goes for the Wild Ones. or at least thats my story ;)
