Great Build Ecc! Glad to see Varlyrio alive! Funnily enough, I was finishing up setting up my new Lego room today and was looking around the guild. I recently moved to a new space and have a dedicated building space. I'm getting organized and ready to start building again! missed you guys!

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
MikeyB replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
you must have never been to the Clermont! -
I received mine yesterday and really like it I love the modulars and have all of them but most my MOC has been castle builds. I am interested in doing some WW2 military MOCs so I feel this book is a great source to building a few city scapes

I suffer from PTSD and found building with Lego extremely satisfying. Its good to see others have found a sort of therapy through Lego. I also remember reading an article about a professional Hockey player that used lego to help regain motor skills in his hands. I also believe David Beckham did something similar.

Rock work is great. I am assume you used the new joints from the chima Legend Beasts for the angles? if so they are going to open a lot of possibilities for builders

De Gothia, Well done. your builds really enforce the fact that I need to get off my butt and start building. I keep thinking Ill pull apart my USC Yoda to get some Sand Green for a build but haven't done it yet. great story too.

Great challenge and a great way of building up many of the settlements! My older moc And the MOC I am currently working on will work right into this challenge! -
nice first MOC Hammer. having a nice exterior and interior is tough, it is something I have been working on and feel I have only captured once in my builds. maybe try building brick walls or a tile paneling method inside the cobble stone walls if you want to clean up the interior walls. Looking forward to your next build.

Welcome Hammerhand. I think the map on the first post is the most up to date. Look forward to some of the new challenges and hope I budget my time better this round! -
Fantastic job and you have inspired me to attempt a similar project in the future. I am looking forward to the rest of your modules !

it was tough but my vote goes to de Gothia -
great job I think I am building an elvish build as well so it is great to see your take. I really like the swan and the use of the R2D2 legs. I think I may have to borrow both of those for future builds! Great job! Mikey

thanks for all the positive feedback. I wish I hadn't wait so long to finish this build I always seem to do that for challenges and was glad I got at least one category in. When GoH started up, I told myself I wanted to enter ever major challenge and I got in just under the wire. Glad so many liked the roots, I wanted to show the tree was growing into the cliff edge

yes time hasn't been my friend lately. Combine that with my daughter keeps loaning out the camera I like to use to her best friend and I had to use a little point and shoot digital and the fact I was concerned about the 16 x 16 limit and the reasonable overhang!( tree limbs) the base of my builds is something I want to work on. it always seems to be an afterthought
