  1. Great Build Ecc! Glad to see Varlyrio alive! Funnily enough, I was finishing up setting up my new Lego room today and was looking around the guild. I recently moved to a new space and have a dedicated building space. I'm getting organized and ready to start building again! missed you guys!
  2. congrats Rouge! Hoping to be able to get back in the fray in the next couple months!

  4. you must have never been to the Clermont!
  5. I received mine yesterday and really like it I love the modulars and have all of them but most my MOC has been castle builds. I am interested in doing some WW2 military MOCs so I feel this book is a great source to building a few city scapes
  6. I suffer from PTSD and found building with Lego extremely satisfying. Its good to see others have found a sort of therapy through Lego. I also remember reading an article about a professional Hockey player that used lego to help regain motor skills in his hands. I also believe David Beckham did something similar.
  7. Anyone been to the downtown Disney site lately? Nothing seems updated on the usual sites and going to be driving past on Thursday
  8. impressive work z. it is encouraging me to find a solution to get myself set up at my new place even with very limited space.....
  9. wow. very nice. I wish I could see this in person. so many nice things here. well done
  10. Rock work is great. I am assume you used the new joints from the chima Legend Beasts for the angles? if so they are going to open a lot of possibilities for builders
  11. the new Chima legend beast have a good number of them as well. the lion legend beast has nine of them plus a good assortment of tan pieces.
  12. Lord Arlindus will help de Gothia in quelling the plague.
  13. very nice. I spent many hours in the backside of a MH-53 in Afghanistan and Iraq.. instantly recognizable and the details are great. good job!
  14. De Gothia, Well done. your builds really enforce the fact that I need to get off my butt and start building. I keep thinking Ill pull apart my USC Yoda to get some Sand Green for a build but haven't done it yet. great story too.

  16. so much I like about this build. i have always like wagons and I think yours are great. the tree is awesome as is the landscape! great job and feel free to visit Circardia as well!
  17. Great challenge and a great way of building up many of the settlements! My older moc And the MOC I am currently working on will work right into this challenge!
  18. nice first MOC Hammer. having a nice exterior and interior is tough, it is something I have been working on and feel I have only captured once in my builds. maybe try building brick walls or a tile paneling method inside the cobble stone walls if you want to clean up the interior walls. Looking forward to your next build.
  19. Welcome Hammerhand. I think the map on the first post is the most up to date. Look forward to some of the new challenges and hope I budget my time better this round!
  20. Fantastic job and you have inspired me to attempt a similar project in the future. I am looking forward to the rest of your modules !
  21. it was tough but my vote goes to de Gothia
  22. great job I think I am building an elvish build as well so it is great to see your take. I really like the swan and the use of the R2D2 legs. I think I may have to borrow both of those for future builds! Great job! Mikey
  23. thanks for all the positive feedback. I wish I hadn't wait so long to finish this build I always seem to do that for challenges and was glad I got at least one category in. When GoH started up, I told myself I wanted to enter ever major challenge and I got in just under the wire. Glad so many liked the roots, I wanted to show the tree was growing into the cliff edge
  24. yes time hasn't been my friend lately. Combine that with my daughter keeps loaning out the camera I like to use to her best friend and I had to use a little point and shoot digital and the fact I was concerned about the 16 x 16 limit and the reasonable overhang!( tree limbs) the base of my builds is something I want to work on. it always seems to be an afterthought
