LOTR & The Hobbit 2013 Set Discussion
General Magma replied to CM4Sci's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Well, since they'd have to create a new mold for Anduril, I can see them having two different versions of Aragorn in those two different sets (ship and gates), both with Anduril. That way they would already have two sets to use the sword for.- 7,499 replies

Thing is, in the Corsair Ship we'd have another regular Aragorn, while in the Black Gate set, he would have his Gondor armor equipped.- 7,499 replies

LOTR & The Hobbit 2013 Set Discussion
General Magma replied to CM4Sci's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
For some reason I think the person who originally posted these rumors mistook the Mouth of Sauron for the Witch-king. I still hope we'll see the Witch-king in another set in the same wave, though.- 7,499 replies

Hello all. I'm looking for several LOTR and The Hobbit figures, so continue to see what I'm looking for and what I may have for you. Haves I'm willing to trade several SW figures. This includes clone troopers (Clone Wars (maybe but doubtfully commanders too), ep3 clones (2007 versions), and NEGOTIABLE stormtroopers (2007 versions). Maybe some Jedi, Ewoks, etc, stuff like that. Anything else depends on your wants, though the stuff above should be up for trade. I've got multiples of most of the stuff, and I may have some collectible minifigures. Note: Spiderman is gone. Still have an old Doc Ock figure (Hideout set) in sand green clothing, which I'd have to put together first. Wants Here's a list of the LOTR/Hobbit figurunes I'm looking for: [AMAP] = As Many As Possible * Must come with originally included weapon LOTR Rohan Soldier* - AMAP Éomer* - Several - (Loose helmets, legs, torsos and/or green capes are welcome too) Uruk-hai* (Breastplate) - AMAP Uruk-hai* (Breastplate, White Hand) - AMAP Uruk-hai* (hair) - A few Uruk-hai Berserker - AMAP Ringwraith* - x9 Mordor Orc (preferably w/hair) - AMAP Moria Orc - AMAP Merry - x1 Frodo (green cape) - x1 Brown Horse - AMAP Ringwraith Horse - x9 The Hobbit If you trade figs from a certain set, I prefer to have all the figs from that set, otherwise if I can't find the remaining ones I might have to get the set and I don't want duplicates unless they're generic figs like goblins. Probably don't need Gandalf. All 13 dwarves - x1 (of each dwarf) All editions of Bilbo Baggins* - x1 Gollum (Riddles) - x1 Yazneg - x1 Hunter Orcs - Several The Goblin King* - x1 Goblins (all available 3) - AMAP Legolas* (Mirkwood) - x1 Tauriel* (Mirkwood) - x1 Elf Butler Dark Red (With Key) - x1 Elf with Brown Hair* - x2 Mirkwood Elf* - Several White Warg - x1 Grey Warg -AMAP Star Wars (New - Additional Wants) Sith Trooper (2013) - AMAP (red and black - mostly the black ones) Republic Trooper (2013) - AMAP Jacen Malcom (2012) - x1 Satele Shan (2012) - x1 FM or post here.

LOTR & The Hobbit 2013 Set Discussion
General Magma replied to CM4Sci's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
sup2yous: We've already seen that months ago. Could be good for those who haven't seen it yet, though. Also, that's not just a *possible* Isengard set, it really is Isengard.- 7,499 replies

I'm starting to see a pattern in this... One great polybag and one bad (or less than average) one at a time. Mhm...

LOTR & The Hobbit 2013 Set Discussion

That Gothmog figure is pretty nice - the head, less so... he should be tan as well, and he didn't have yellow eyes, plus there's way too much red on him. Looks like I didn't have it completely right when I tried to make a Gothmog fig design that looked like something TLG might go for:- 7,499 replies

I've got a Shadow ARF Trooper. FM me if you're interested.

Woah, those are some great prizes. Thanks again, CM. Generous as usual! Rooting for that Darth Malgus figure...

Great to see another raffle! I was happy when I won the previous two, so here we go again... and it's yet again a sequel to my entry from last year: Star Wars Christmas Episode III: Revenge of the Creature Behind After having received several strange Christmas presents from Emperor Palpatine, a certain Nautolan's head, a pair of horns from an Iktotchi, a dark skinned hand stuck to a lightsaber and Zabrak hair last year, Darth Vader noticed his master finally started picking out decent presents for him. This year, Vader felt a bit more satisfied with it for its value and apparent special powers, but perhaps he had cheered far too early, for he did not know what was awaiting him this time... Thanks for hosting another raffle, CopMike. Those look like some very generous prizes so far already!

Looks like a cool polybag, but it's probably exclusive to some countries AGAIN... I missed the other two as well and since I wanted to get all Middle-Earth sets and figs, I wonder if there will be any other chances for me to still get at least one of each, and hopefully as many Uruk-hai as possible... or was it only to be given away at the Sun Promotion-thing?

Great review, meh set, fantastic figures and Wargs. Also, did anyone else notice how these Wargs seem to resemble both kinds of Wargs well enough? It seemed a bit more like the TTT one to me, there may be a chance for us to see brown or (preferably) dark tan ones in a TTT Warg Attack set.

Of course not... how does it? TLG doesn't even have the license for those and I think they never will.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion
General Magma replied to LEGOman273's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Can't see why they would tone down the violence just because the story arc was aimed at younger children. I mean, it's not like they're advertising "NEW CLONE WARS EPISODES ON CARTOON NETWORK AIMED AT YOUNGER KIDS" all around the planet, it's on the same channel as all the other episodes after all, so most if not all kids watching this story arc will probably end up watching previous and next or have watched the previous episodes as well. -
Why does the AUJ cast still mention Orlando Bloom as Legolas? I thought he was to appear in the second film along with Tauriel...

Wow, that's some luck there. Any chance you're willing to trade one of them or are you keeping both? Tried to pre-order for the Elrond fig today but apparently, that store won't work for me either...
-
The PS3 demo still isn't out, or is it? Oh, either way, Boromir's death *does* involve a banana just like I predicted some time ago... well, sort of predicted...

If you decide to place a spoiler, just use a spoiler tag. If you place the text right beside it, people can easily read it by accident.

????? He was talking about the LEGO LOTR video game... Anyways, the first LEGO LOTR gameplay video is up... I'm gonna toss in a quick pre-order before it's released in my country in 10 days. EDIT: Well, can't... that's a shame. I wanted the Elrond fig.

LEGO Star Wars 2013 Pictures and Rumors
General Magma replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I still don't understand the need of having a video taking up 3 and a half minutes of your time to show a single LEGO figure... -
Space bugs thing = Galaxy Squad, which is mentioned earlier on in that post, set for release in the first half of next year. Can't be Insectoids.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion
General Magma replied to LEGOman273's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I suppose Embo is marked for death, then. Nice clip, though, looking forward to seeing the future Maul episodes. -
We have. I was hoping there would be pictures, though. The reason you didn't see it here is because we already have a LOTR 2013 topic, so it's not supposed to be in the 2012 one.

No More Elrond Minifigures Available?!?
General Magma replied to Deathleech's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Any (online) stores that still have them in/for The Netherlands? If so, I'd like to know. I remember seeing a Dutch site with a supply of Elrond figures some time ago, but I can't find it anymore.- 146 replies
