Are you sure it wasn't the attack of the space disks which planted themselves into the figures? I've never seen anything like this before...

It's just Polish for "corsair", actually.

Oh yes, give me those figures! They seem to look great. Good for those who like to have lots of different kinds of alien species in any kind of Sci-Fi theme like me. I like to see that those Arkham Asylum wings are being used here as well. -
Thanks - though as far as I know they're not NinjaGO blades, these are from the Uruk-hai Army and Helm's Deep sets.

LEGO Star Wars 2013 Pictures and Rumors

Am I the only one who thinks the Phase II clones look a bit mediocre and way too cartoony? -
LEGO Star Wars 2013 Pictures and Rumors
General Magma replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
These are troubling times for the Republic! Their arsenal has been sabotaged and their vehicles have become oversized to the point where they are inaccessible! Might as well call it a UCS AT-RT... Anyways, some useful minifig parts in there though the CW troopers look cartoony. That Umbaran thing looks pretty great, they managed to get a good shape on this. -
Thanks! I decided to give this general ("this" general assuming that there will be others too...) two weapons: the gun you see up-close in this, and an Insectoid staff (top left corner) which is still a preliminary design. Hopefully I can find a way to create the standard Insectoid infantry soon for a battle scene.

Hello everybody, and welcome to this thread showcasing my latest creation... For a long time, on and on, I've been thinking of creating my own Sci-Fi/space theme within the LEGO realm, mostly featuring elements that I thought up myself, along with things that were inspired by other Sci-Fi/space related works such as video games. This would also include elements from official LEGO themes - think of SP3 or Blacktron when it comes to that, but especially Space Marines. Now, I've finally decided to create the first thing related to that. I can't say it's related to the old Insectoids theme in any way, this guy's just part of an Insectoid alien army that will end up being one of the main adversaries of the intergalactic Space Army and other kinds of peacekeepers. This theme can't go without a story, however, which is something I've yet to start on. Let's hope the upcoming (though rumored) Insectoid figures will be of use to me... But enough said, let's move onto the real reason you're here, the MOC: The Insectoid General And an alternate version of the picture with the MOC on its own without the surrounding pics: "Deep beneath the surface of planet Ivargath V, in an underground facility, an Insectoid hive is being created for one single purpose... to build up the largest Insectoid army the galaxy has ever gazed upon, consisting of one of the deadliest Insectoid species known to have lived, and to lay waste to all who dare oppose them. The intergalactic Space Army is about to face their most dangerous adversary yet..." Follow this link to view a larger image, or simply click the first picture - it gives you a much better look at the Insectoid General. http://www.flickr.co...N02/8097914426/

I'm sure he does. The only figures I can think of that didn't in the entire LOTR minifig line-up were Gandalf (back of his head wasn't fully covered) and the Nazgûl, which just used black heads anyways.
-
The site may be, but nothing we see there is new to us. It's all stuff most of us have already seen before.
-
Oh, right. I assumed he was wrong about the "back printing" part since parts of belts on the back of LEGO minifig torsos usually don't have belt clips. Well, if it's only the back then it could easily be put to good use with help of a cape anyways. I see some great and useful torsos being used on these dwarves.
-
What about the back of it? I don't think that should differ too much in design.
-
Unique way of describing them, as much as I hate the word "swag". Either way, wasn't the exclusive figure to be given away these days at the ToyFair? Shouldn't we know a bit more about it by now? The black TMNT fig (promo) was revealed a while back already...

That looks very good! You seem to be an expert at the use of Photoshop. I'm hoping they'll use this for actual TTT Wargs.
-
Movie accuracy only matters to me when it comes to the minifigures. Other than that, I've been considering ending up using most of my LOTR set parts for MOCs of my own, I prefer that - while it is also nice to have all those figures as a LOTR fan. Either way, this new stuff looks great and I like to see more leaf pieces in sets.
-
3 different prints for the goblins yet they couldn't refuse re-using the Mordor orcs? Oh well. Not happy to hear about an exclusive minifig, especially not when considering that I wanted to get each and every of these figures from both The Hobbit and the LOTR lines, and the sets as well. If not all sets, all figures would suffice... but I've got the feeling I won't be able to get this.
-
That blue creature was supposed to resemble Shagrat? Dark blue would've been a more fitting color then... or dark grey for that matter.

You mean, no unlockable characters or no Elrond figure...?

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion
General Magma replied to LEGOman273's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Hondo said "laser sword" - is the first time we actually hear lightsabers being referred to like that in actual Star Wars media? I thought it to be an incorrect word use at first, but it looks like it is not. Also, Hondo and those horn references of his... -
Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion

I've been looking for a place to watch the season premiere, but millenniumfalcon.com still doesn't have anything. Don't they always have it up on the day of release? -
Those weren't characters (troopers...space marines...) fighting off 'evil' creatures on some distant planet... More like astronauts who had the magical ability to survive in space without a visor on their helmets. I don't need a rainbow space marine corps hanging around. Slight color differences (or uniform adjustments on some) to represent ranks would be fine, but please, no jellybean warriors again...
-
I hope it's not what this sounds to be like, I'm not waiting for another rainbow fest. It seemed fine for NinjaGO, but these 'troopers' certainly sound like they're part of one organization with certain uniforms, another jellybean club doesn't work for this imo.

It all started with "Faint" earlier this year, and I remember some others from the past, but ever since I fully "re-discovered" LP, I must say it's likely to be my favorite band now if not one of.

Does anybody know of a site to pre-order this game in Europe, along with the Elrond figure? Still haven't heard of anything like that, just Gamestop but that's far, far away from here as far as I know...
