  1. Nice crane! I like how it all folds up neat. I will be looking into a pneumatic crane soon, haven't done anything yet with them. I'm not too sure about the different size wheels tho on the truck. if you are short on wheels, you probably could pick up 4 really cheap in the US!
  2. As soon as I see the RC motor, I'm like WAOH! I bet it is fast! Nice fitting all that in such a small project!
  3. Very cool! Some great functions packed in there. I like Daf's
  4. I'm really sorry I missed this! What a fantastic and original MOC! Great job.
  5. Thanks for the great feedback guys! HAHAHA, awesome, thanks! Are you in QLD?
  6. Thank you very much guys for the kind words! Definitely giving me some more motivation! Haven't started the chassis yet, been trying to solve the steering issues first. I want a nice "void" for the engine. the front steering will hopefully have neg caster and camber using the new parts. I will be using 62 mm wheels, and hopefully they will tuck inside the body work and wont look too bad, I think models of old cars can get away with this. I've made a roof, but have no idea yet how to connect it. I'm guessing i will need U-joints, because LBG 45 degree connectors are very rare and pricey. Thank you very much. I will do that! Dunno what I was thinking, lol.
  7. Thats a good idea! Thanks, will have a look if I have any. Thank you very much.
  8. Here is the 1971 ford GTHO WIP. Hope you guys like it. Any suggestions are welcome, particularly regarding the corners of the car, do you think its smooth enough, Cheers.
  9. Such very sad news. My deepest sympathies go to both you and your family. I wish you the strength through this terrible time.
  10. Think I had an idea for that, let me see, BRB. I can take pics now! hahahahha This is looking like a very interesting project for you man, as its a larger scale than your other mocs. Very interested to see how it come out.
  11. WOW, very nice! That sure is short width! I think I will need your help with my 4 x 4. I really need to get some of those new tires! haha
  12. Really cool! So good to see more EV3 mocs. I could use that to mop the floors, hehehe.
  13. Thank you very much, I'm still learning tho! Just keep trying, Heaps of people here will help ya out if you get stuck. I'm not a fan of 42000 hubs or CV joints, as I broke a brand new one in 5 seconds flat! This is because they have a design flaw that locks the joint when at an angle of about 30 degrees or more.
  14. HAHA, that is awesome! I have no idea tbh, I would really like to see some awesome stuff with EV3 from great builders, and see what is the limit of the computer. But I guess 32Gigs of memory is a lot of code to fill.
  15. A fire truck would be a great addition! Imagine an extendible ladder and turning water hose. I like the Tan police car. Very big. haha
  16. Sweet! Really good job with the model, programming and using MIDI! Do you think it would be possible to make it longer? I was waiting for it to kick it up a notch.
  17. That good advice Jim, Thanks! What sensor do you think would be a minimum for this kind of project?
  18. Thanks for the info! Sounds like a great project too. :) Do you think that amount of programing will take long?
  19. I wasn't eggspecting that. I thought pelting was throwing?
  20. Such a beauty! Wish I had those wheels.
  21. I was just wondering how hard it would be to implement an idea I had for a EV3 moc. Basically I want to create a patrol dog model and its functions include the following. -Search and establish territory perimeter (living room) -Randomly patrol in the area -Return to Red water bowl occasionally -Return to Blue dog box to rest occasionally. ( when battery gets low, with a unique bark to let owner know) -Bark at any loud sounds (if possible) I'm not sure what the minimum of sensors would be required to perform such tasks, or if all the above is possible. Any advice would be very welcome. Also are the NXT motors and sensors are compatible with the EV3 block? Thanks!
  22. Here's what I developed for chitty. I will be refining for the GTHO very soon. I made a more reliable version but didnt take any pics, and choose this one because of looks.
  23. My first studless set, totally love and hate it! Superb job with these mods! Great filming and editing too!
