  1. I love it. Reminds me of the white-and-yellow trams in Hungary I used to ride as a child.
  2. Thank you for the images. Looks really great cmobined. I even prefer this version to the asymmetric one (two orginial sets connected). I wonder how a district with four mirrored version would look like.
  3. Looks really good! I really like the mix of colors and styles. I think the computer screen can be improved by either adding some pieces to create a logo or something. Another possibility would be to use a trans clear or trans blue plate as a screen and add a Batarang behind that for example.
  4. When I already had a lot of bricks from teared down older sets, ebay sales, and the LEGO store walls. However, I only did that for one build. I hated all the extra cost for shipping and handling. Not worth it in my opinion, so now I just build stuff with the bricks I have or acquire through LEGO store walls and tearing down sets. Sometimes, I tell this to my wife and myself, knowing full well that I would never sell anything of my collection. This is the way.
  5. Make sure to think this through! I did this earlier and regretted it a couple of times. Never again. I am sorry for you. I think this set looks like 100 or 120 euros tops, but 150 is too much. Will wait for something like 2x VIP points. But 170 euros is just insane. I will have to check out a comparison of the earnings between Netherlands and Germany.
  6. I can’t wait to check this out tomorrow. I remember that I had a old catalogue when I was a kid and would be going through it again and again, thinking of which sets I would have loved to get. Thanks in advance!
  7. This will look great I am sure. Also hopefully sounds like the start of a great Castle town. Of course this building looks great by itself too!
  8. Using the yellow technic beam plate as a floor is my favorite part of this great MOC. I thought about the doors. The upper rod is not symmetric. While this does not bother me, an alternative could be to use two rods, one with the length of a light saber and the even shorter one. Would look the same except it would look symmetric.
  9. I just cannot wrap my head around what these memories and moments could be. Seems so abstract to me. Like out of a science-fiction movie. But do not mind that, it is alright. I can imagine that will give more variety regarding parts and colors, I definitely would try that.
  10. Great build! Do you have more pictures? I am interested in seeing the the central floor a little bit better.
  11. Looks great. My favorite trees are the monkey trees. I also love the use of the swim fins. And the deer (?) looks very nice too.
  12. Looks great!
  13. Great build. I really like the front and the back, especially the bumpers. I have been looking at the car for a long time and I am not sure if I like the swords. I think I, personally, would prefer the car without swords. Still a great car that will surely look great next to the Police Station.
  14. Fantastic tread and builds. Thanks for all the inspiration and help!
  15. Indeed! I will try that out too. Thanks for the idea. The MOC looks great. Just looking at it, I immediately can envision myself in a jungle adventure. Really immersive.
  16. Great build and great surprise. Initially, I did not click on this thread because I thought it would be another Star Wars walker. My favorite parts are the overall color scheme, the cockpit, and the part above the tracks.
  17. Love it! My favorite details are the ropes leading to the guns, as pointed out RocketBoy already. I also like the usage of the quarter round white brick. I got a bunch of them too not long ago during my last visit at the LEGO Store. I mainly got them for building roofs but now I realize I can make good use of them for terrain too. Thank you!
  18. Nice! Looks really packed and alive with all the minifigures. My favorite part is the titantron and the camera guy.
  19. Not going to lie, I do not really understand it either. But it looks really amazing and unlike anything I have ever seen. Can you elaborate on the backstory?
  20. This is both interesting and disturbing (in my opinion). I like the layout, the groundwork, and the positioning of the arms (could also be used for weightlifting e.g. MOCs). So, even though this is definitely not my cup of tea, it is interesting to see something unique like your build. Cheers
  21. Wow! I remember seeing the Winter Chalet years ago and bookmarking it on Instagram to use it as inspiration for the future (never followed through with it until now) because it looked great. Now seeing it embedded in such a nice scene really creates an awesome winter scene. I also want to say that I really like the slopes and the sleds. And the winter village layout looks stunning. Really a piece of art (just like the rest of your Flickr gallery).
  22. Wow. This looks so realistic, I almost scrolled past it on Instagram! Very impressive!
  23. Looks great. Really great combination of space and hospital. I have two questions: How did you create the sketch of the ship (white-blue image) and why did you use an old street base plate? Not that it is bad, it is just so... unexpected. Cheers
  24. Love every module so far! Love winter builds and will definitely follow this thread. This also is really great inspiration for my Christmas setup I plan to build this year. The frozen pond looks so cool, immediately creates a great scene. I can’t wait to see some kids going ice skating there. Santa’s workshop on top of the mountain looks really great too. Is there a specific reason you went with light grey ballast instead of the usual black? How big you want to go? Cheers
