  1. Here, I present you the final entry of my Gyndine-arc in the SW Factions RPG. Here is the accompanying comic:
  2. This build is carrying the essence of what I imagined urban Gyndine to look like. Of course, a lot of the designs evolved during building, but the flair with the snow heaps and the ice floes on the canal have very much existed since when I came up with the whole Episode pitch! For this Factions episode, I'm really proud that all the entries from other builders have strikingly well nailed the visual identity of the town, we from the game development team had in mind. But not only that - we developed a culture with the palette and look of buildings, the cheese references, the minifigs, the waterside and winter scenery. It was fun and privilege to finally add my vision into the mix. No entry without a comic!
  3. Today, I'd like to share a little interior of an imperial command center that I built for the SW Factions RPG. The command center has been features multiple times in my continuous comic story around the Episode we had running until recently - the Gyndine Crisis. Here are a few close-ups that were also featured in my comic. Lord Commander Vonreg is disatisfied. Comic chapters featuring the build: https://swfactions.net/community/season-iii/episode-v-nro12-reytha-nr3f-defiance-on-reytha/ https://swfactions.net/community/season-iii/episode-v-iro12-gyndine-fz-vonreg-legacy/
  4. In this one, the heroes of my campaign finally landed on Gyndine, in the outskirts of the planet's capital. It's winter time on Gyndine and the landscape is covered under a thick blanket of snow. Hiding in the woods, Pria Sungazer and Borres Laredo observe a duo of Snowtroopers trudging along the so-called Cheese Trail... This was particulary fun to build. I really enjoyed how all builders embraced the challenge of the Gyndine Crisis prompt and came up with the winterly aesthetic of the city in their builds. Here, I took it even a bit further. And why the Cheese Trail? Cheese became a running gag during this campaign, starting with a promotional figbarf of Gyndine denizens. One of them was a cheese shop owner. The Gyndine cheese became big part of the planet's lore in the community's canon. It's the luxury good of the planet. The trail is an old transport route from the alps to the city. The complementary comic:
  5. Here I would like to share with you my interpretation of the Mt. Corvast Citadel on the volcanic world Sarapin. Build amidst a lava lake, the city of Mt. Corvast is the capital and seat of the the Satrap of the planet. The complementary comic:
  6. Here, I present you a build that has been featured recently in a comic chapter for Episode V - The Gyndine Crisis at Star Wars Factions RPG. The scene depicts the cotton marshes on the agriworld of Reytha. Feel free to check out the comic. The comic: Bonus - the Med Bay shown in the Comic: A familiar scene, recreated...
  7. Here I present a build I made for my continuous "Flame and Ashes" - comic. For my comic, I usually would build a scene with a clear aim to support the action and dialogs. This often yields builds, that look like a theater stage or filming set. This time I wanted to create a scene, that is both nice to display and supports the dialogs and scenes. Hence I started with creating these little houses, that would make my little village and early on I realized I need to place them to each other in an interesting way. The outcome was very satisfying and it was a lot of fun adding life with the props like the water tank, the sealed well and of course, some Ikkrukki villagers. The landspeeder is an alternate version of the blue one I have used in another work. This one is the Delvin 57-Radiant. Last but not least, it was a great pleasure to feature two well-known, obscure bounty hunters (see comic in the spoiler section). I tried to write them in character and incorporated some traits form the legends book 'Tales of the Bounty Hunters'. I simply love these memorable side-side characters and I hope you enjoy them appearing in my story too. Here are some additional diorama images: Episode 6 of the comic* * For new readers who are not familiar with the characters and want to learn more about them, I advertise to look into my Flickr account where you can find all the comic episodes of "book 1" Flight of the Phoenix and "book 2" Flame and Ashes, that is in work now.
  8. For long, I was reluctant to build a TIE fighter, first and foremost because there have been already so many different takes on this iconic starship - both the standard ones and custom versions. For an upcoming comic I needed a TIE and didn't want to use the series model by Lego (I would maybe use as some background space battle filler), since it will be featured more prominently. What should I say - it was a lot of fun to dive into the visual identity and design of TIE fighters. Funny enough, I started with the name. I wanted to build a TIE Ranger - a long range patrol star fighter that could operate far away from its home fleet. The TIEs are usually heavily standardized so TIE pilots can fly any craft at anytime. This one was projected to be a different, rather rare model line that was abandoned, but now reactivated by the Imperial Remnant during the Gyndine Crisis [a story we are building for right now in the SW Factions RPG]. With the name, I found a wonderful custom fighter render on Reddit by user Healthy-Ad-973 and started to shape my Ranger accordingly. I hope you like the lore I build around. Finally, to enter it as an FZ ship, I made a more colorful version, better fitting to the visual identity of the Flame. Nvertheless I think the grey and black of the original imperial design suits it the most. What do you think? Link to the digital artwork by user Healthy-Ad-973 found on Reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/StarWarsShips/comments/1cz2vrn/tie_ranger/ The Flame of Zhar Syndicate* Version: No photo edit: * The Flame of Zhar is the faction I'm leading in the SW Factions RPG. If you are interested to learn more about the faction and the game, write a comment or dm me.
  9. Hello, here you find two recent small builds and comics, that I created for the current episode - The Gyndine Crisis - in the Star Wars Factions RPG. The story of the episode is about a conflict between the New Republic and the Imperial Remnant in 6ABY and unfolds across three locations, the volcanic world of Sarapin, the agriworld Reytha and the industrial sector capital Gyndine. Feel free to check out the episode description and building prompts on the Factions homepage: https://swfactions.net/episode-v-the-gyndine-crisis/ The following vehicles and diorama were built for Sarapin. Here, two comics featuring these builds. The first one features Partt, a recurring character from my continuous stories Flight of the Phoenix and Flame and Ashes in Factions RPG. PARTT TIME JOB THE VAAPAD Thanks for reading!
  10. Hello, here I'd like to share some recent small builds and short stories from the most prominent planet in a galaxy far away. Delvin 57 Supreme Landspeeder: Here, I was aiming for forced perspective, where the Sand People spy on a Prospector encampment. As usual, my builds come to life in my comics, so feel free to read through. No need for background info this time, as both stories are "stand alone" entries for the Sands of Fortune player campaign in the Star Wars Factions RPG. Tatooine won't be tamed Warriors of the Dune Sea
  11. Cloud City Upper Level - built for my brand new story "Flame and Ashes" following the adventures of Pria Sungazer and her Flame of Zhar syndicate, in the framework of the current season of SW Factions RPG. As a teaser for anyone interested into reading, I'll attach the current comic episode here: All the episodes from the first book and some spin-offs can be found on the SW Factions webpage. You can navigate through the episodes chronologically at the bottom of the entry: FAA 01 Dinner in the Clouds
  12. I have built this midi-version of my F-Wing for the Factions RPG some time ago - it was even featured in one or the other space battle scenes of my comic - but it never received a own entry - until now. I'm really proud of this version and while the minifig-scale F-Wing I built for last year's May the 4th contest here on EB was not very robust and swooshable, this one definitely is. It's one of my favorite fanon ships (created by artist Jason Hazelroth). The model scales with the official midi-Millenium Falcon quite nicely, showing that the F-Wing is indeed a large, heavy starfighter, somewhat filling the gap in Slayn and Korpils program between the B-Wing and the MG100-Starfortress.
  13. Hello, This time, I'd like to present another recent creation for the Factions RPG - The C-Wing Starfighter. The C-Wing is heavily inspired by a design from Jason Hazelroth, from whom I recreated the F-Wing in EB's M4-25 contest. Check out his original renders of a C-Wing here: https://jasonhazelroth.artstation.com/projects/EVdm92 Additional images and info: I'm especially proud that it got featured on the brothers brick https://www.brothers-brick.com/2025/09/03/this-star-wars-c-wing-is-an-a-in-our-books/
  14. *Your entry has earned 5 XP* Imperial Communique 639184.88e—CLASSIFIED Code: Endless Sun Report No: O10-029 Ambria [LSM-036] to [LSM-663] and [GA-004] High Command Regarding Project: Eclipse & LUXUM As stated in my last report: We found some remarkable crystals near Lake Natth. The Locals call them LUXUM. Powerful crystals, much stronger than we first thought. The results of first experiments look very promising. It seems they are created by immense pressure, lasting for up to hundred years. In accordance with your orders: we've occupied the affected area. Lake Naath and its surrounding land is now under Imperial Jurisdiction. Imperial Code 94364. The "redistribution" of its residents and the establishment of labor camps are in full swing. Camp 1 and 3 to 5 are set up and ready for use. Camp 2 and 6 should be ready by the next rotation. But I have to tell you, Ambria is far more hostile than we first tought. More and more troopers lose their lives to the dangerous fauna. And there is something else. The workers are talking about a strange feeling they get, when they are near Lake Natth. Like if something is watching them. Some evem refuse to continue working. I ordered immediate action against such behavior. I don't know if and how this reduce the efficient of operation. We have already lost precious time. But I assure you, sir, we will be successful. This operation is far too important to fail. Long live the Triumvirate. Rufus Calahan Captain [LSM-036] end of Report No: O10-029 Minifigless: Minigures: Greeting MAC
  15. *Your entry has earned 3 XP* Sir, we detected a small group of fighters in the orbit of Odik II. It seems that they are Pyerce´s ships. What are your orders, Sir? Shall I send a squad to interfere? No, our fleet is to far away to get there in time. But it is an excellent opportunity to test the new TIE Droid Fighter. Inform Admiral Val, she will take care of the traitors. Yes, Sir! Just a small MOC. I always wanted to build a TIE Droid fighter and i love the Versus-Sets from 2003. So the best chance to get both done. Greetings Mac
  16. *Your entry has earned 5 XP* Somewhere deep within the Botanical Garden of Odik II... Chancellor Vankar: Gentlemen. Even if you do not recognize the imperial remnants, you must acknowledge their existence. Even on prominent New Republic worlds the remnant has more influence than the sitting government. I’m not asking you to openly support the Imperial Triumvirate. I’m telling you to look the other way. Senator Gunch Mau’te: The Neimoidian society agrees to your terms Chancellor. Senator Bjiel: I’m not convinced. Eventually the New Republic will uncover the imperial entanglements buried in bureaucracy and corruption! Chancellor Vankar: Eventually yes. Until then we will make it worth while. /// Wanted to do plants from these bricks for a looooong time, but I couldn't find a jungle planet to do an entry on...
  17. *Your entry has earned 11 XP (x2 for limited challenge)* The secrets uncovered in the Emperor’s Observatory on Byss has led to a wide range of experiments and top secret projects. One of these projects has been hidden in subterranean caves, beneath the abandoned Imperial prison base on Kalist VI. Protected by New Republic bureaucrats and corrupt politicians, the Imperial Triumvirate is experimenting with the creation of a new super soldier for the Empire. The Horror Trooper… Mwuahahahah… By drenching the clones in liquified Artusian force crystals, these troopers should have enhanced senses, and some even force powers... The experiment was a failure, and the escaped clones are unaccounted for... This intel is highly classified! /// Another horrible entry for the Halloween LTC... ??
  18. *Your entry has earned 8 XP (x2 for limited challenge)* The secrets uncovered in the Emperor’s Observatory on Byss has led to a wide range of experiments and top secret projects. From these, an unlikely alliance has risen between dark side acolytes and a subdivision of the Imperial Triumvirate. For a considerable amount of kyber crystals, the Sith cultists agreed to imbue kyber crystals with dark side energy for experimental weapons application. Unsanctioned and unofficial of course. Bleeding kyber crystals is an ancient Sith ritual... These rituals harnessed the fear and terror of innocent victims... And when fear and terror was at it's highest, the cultists started inflicting pain and suffering... Until the kyber crystal started fracturing holding immense amounts of fear, horror, pain, suffering, and the dark side... /// This was a little disturbing to make!
  19. *Your entry has earned 7 XP (x2 for limited challenge)* D-3ATH was a common protocol droid. It enjoyed boasting its vast knowledge to other droids and being polite to its owners. He was a simple droid, in a simple world. Tracking cargo, reading manifests, translating for offworld visitors. Essentially living the good life. At least the good life a droid was capable of living. One night, in the deepest depths of the Quarzite quarry, a new republic cell sneaks through the triumvirates quarters. Unbenounced to the presence of the triumvirate, and a certain protocol droid, the rebel scum navigate the crystal caves until they enter the quarry. A vast area covered with ore. A dark pit in darkness. A single light to prevail it. The droid makes his nightly routine in the darkness. Its eyes illuminate the path towards a single light post, standing alone. The supplies placed here shouldn’t be here. In fact, they should already be shipped. D-3ATH sends a notification to the sector commander. Around a corner a reflection catches the droids sensors. It is unlike the normal reflection of the crystals. It is a new reflection. The droid approaches, curiously. The lonely light shining on his back, as the darkness takes it into its cold embrace. A life form, no… multiple lifeforms are interacting with each other. They are armed with A280 blasters. The droid sends a silent distress call. D-3ATH walks closer, it can sense their quiet speech in the darkness. “supplies”.... “Republic”.... “mission”....”extraction”.... Circuits flare as the droid computes his next move. It’s defense protocol activates… It’s eyes turn red… It’s joints reinforce, and it walks in a controlled manner towards the new republic group. A rebel trooper jumps on its backside as D-3ATH makes itself apparent to the infiltrators. The trooper shoves a computing device into the droid's head, trying to overcharge and short circuit the droid's electrical system. The droid turns its head 180 degrees towards its back, trying to locate the threat on its backside. STZZZZ! D-3ATH falls to its knees as a charge of electricity paralyses it. “ No problem boys. lets get these supplies and get the hell outta here before these imps come a lookin’ for it. “ says the trooper… The new republic troopers look at him horrified. A confused look covers the trooper’s face as he turns around to see two red eyes in a dark silhouette against a single light. D-3ATH swipes his arm towards the trooper sending him flying towards the other republic troopers, knocking them down as one. One of them raises his blaster as D_3ATH marches towards him. Before he can fire, the droid yanks his blaster from him, ripping off the barrel with the axe head, and plunges it into him… the imperial reinforcemens arrive, but D-3ATH has fried parts of his CPU, and is incapable of deducing foe from friend. The new republic troopers in this sector never stood a chance, nor did the triumvirate’s stormtroopers...
  20. *Your entry has earned 3 XP (x2 for limited challenge)* Mission Log from Pvt Joka: Operation Purge is well on its way. Silvertail squad was tasked to mop up any remaining resistance. Easier said than done....The Pirates dug their heels into the mud and dared us to come after them....and so he did.....Only to be met flesh-eating diseases, night ambushes and raids, cut off for weeks in the dense jungles and abandoned by our superiors... Silvertail squad status: 2 KIA, 1 MIA and two injured. Our sergeant is clueless about what to do in our situation. We are combat ineffective. I have done right by my brothers in arms, I have always kept a sharp eye for ambushes. Nevertheless, I no longer believe the mission...Not Operation Purge...but the Corp mission...After we get out of this hellhole and going to discretly ask transference to the Special Forces Command. [End Log]
  21. *Your entry has earned 5 XP (x2 for limited challenge)* After the administration takeover of Molavar, the Triumvirate high command has expressed an interest in surrounding systems in the sector. Ever since the incident on Scarif, the planet has more or less remained unknown and almost forgotten... Until now...
  22. *Your entry has earned 14 XP (x2 for limited challenge)* Fortifying a new garrison planetside on Nanth'ri Securing Nanth’ri has proven a little more difficult than initially anticipated. The Imperial Triumvirate has established valuable connections to the local hutts, but somehow that hasn’t been enough to ensure a smooth take over. In order to deal with the increasing pirate uprising in the sector, the Triumvirate is mobilising a full occupation to pummel the criminals on Nanth’ri and send a message to other cells in the sector. In order to coordinate an assault on Mott City, Lima Company has been charged with establishing a forward communications base... Even the presence of imperials is not enough to snuff out the audacity of these pirates. Pirate attacks have been a constant since establishing the base, forcing the Triumvirate to dispatch several stormtrooper patrols... A busy communications officer... Our first catch of the day... /// I've been wanting to do an imperial camp for some time - somehow I still feel this could be better. Feel free to come with suggestions for improvements... A few additional shots:
  23. *Your entry has earned 13 XP (x2 for limited challenge)* Excerpt from Cdr. Bannon’s Journal: The locals of Nixor may have avoided imperial attention for a long time, but now they find themselves in the heart of the newly established Triumvirate territory. However, their strategy still work. Their decrepit cities and spaceports have forced us to establish imperial compounds and double patrol efforts to secure both imperial compounds, spaceports and cities. This will work for now, but in time we will establish imperial cities on Nixor. /// Short story this time around, but as always... Behind the scenes, and take a closer look... Let me know what you think...
  24. *Your entry has earned 2 XP* After a long campaign in the Eclorar sector, Cdr. Bannon and his crew retired to the polar region of Nixor, for some very well deserved RnR... Happy Life Day from the Imperial Triumvirate! /// And to everyone else! A very Merry Christmas!
  25. *Your entry has earned 14 XP* Outtake from Reaper Squad’s Report: Intel reported that Pyerce forces fleeing the Fondor system had scattered and hid in the Outer Rim. Specifically the Wazta, Koradin, and Tunka sector. Our first lead was a Pyerce Gozanti-class cruiser escorted by a few TIEs that had been shot down somewhere over Virgillia 7 weeks earlier. I guess they did not know about the Virgillian Free Alignment. We should make short process of any survivors. Cdr. Bannon had made it clear that any intel they intercepted at Fondor, could pose a potential threat to Triumvirate activities in the Core. The orders were simple! Search and Destroy! The first TIE was demolished in the crash, but the second one had been turned into a makeshift habitat for the surviving pilot. Her plan must have been to hide out for some time - not expecting any visitors. She was unarmed when we confronted her. Last mistake she ever made... *BLAMMM* /// Balancing the TIE was a real challenge... The ropes, pipes, and nets actually serve to keep the makeshift hab in place...
