  1. As person who made a C model I'll give you advice - make sketeches of every module you want to build. It allows to switch rare parts (like pneumatics, 14L racks etc) between ones that need them more. Otherwise you could end with nicely shaped chassis, but, for example, without these few parts that are needed in the crane.
  2. Few questions: How are you going to operate the driving rings? What will be used for front outriggers? How are youg going to build the crane? Which functions will be pneumatic, and which mechanic?
  3. I have tried to build an american style logging truck with trailer, but I have ended with mobile crane. Reason? Pneumatic hoses were too long for the crane arm :)
  4. I am afraid that you have became favorite instruction source for Lepin...
  5. Sorry, but for me it looks like Ingmar's truck in different colour scheme.
  6. Listen, everything you have written about these two sets could be written in topic about 2017 Technic sets.
  7. Fascinating. Really, you should make more of these comparission topics. Only things that they have in common is type of vehicle used as a inspiration and a colour.
  8. More interesting is lack of Servo in steered model. Anyway, 42070 side outriggers are interesting, it looks like those LBG liftarms on sides of red casing pull 1x14L rack down.
  9. It takes some practice, becuase with liftarm constructions sometimes you have to build in three directions almost in the same time.
  10. I do not see exactly what you have put inside the frame, but at first look it looks like mix of these two:
  11. For me it looks like a mix of few Ingmar's trucks. Both chassis and cab.
  12. It depends on how they were handled by previous owner. Check these connectors for cracks too:
  13. I am glad that you like it :) I Wonder how would it look standing next to the 42064?
  14. Try to build those side panels from something else than 2x3 plates. Underside of system plates does not look too good with Technic panels.
  15. It is a low deck version :P
  16. Because M_Longer always likes to compare LEGO models with its real counterparts, using bluperints, to make sure that your model's is shape is realistic. I am not looking only at trucks to be honest :P
  17. I am here. Basically, run* And I must say that it has really good proportions (at least after seeing these two pictures). Does the front wheels have enough room for steering? *But I am not The Doctor. Only a person who likes nice and clean shapes based on bluperints... :P
  18. Turn those silver plates with tooth upside down.
  19. Was it that "hey look I have it FIRST!" type of review? ;)
  20. It's my little secret :) 3x5 actually, with sloped front part. And so far it is at 5-6th position on models list to do, so it will take a while. Which does not mean that I am not waiting for a video showing your model in action :)
  21. I love when people say this :)) OK, I'll take a look at that PDF (thanks for linking it) and see if (and how) it could be done.
  22. I think that it could be built within scaled dimensions. Anyway, do you have documentation for this machine?
  23. ... and says what he thinks about the model. Oh come on, don't tell me that you do not see those things that I have pointed :)
  24. They can be find here: http://store.rc4wd.com/MIL-SPEC-ZXL-22-Tires_p_724.html Nice tyres, really. Have few of those and they are great. 42054 tires are equal in diameter with them and are a bit wider. Time for some comparision shots: Your model have lost proportions of the real machine. You have used one of the biggest tires possible, so it could allow to make model with great proportions. In this scale, making the front part of the frame angled should be easy. I do not know what did you put inside it, but could it be a little thinner? Do you have some photos of real machine? Blueprint maybe? Quick search on Google didn't find too many data about this machine. Rear ripper does not resemble its real counterpart in any way. It looks like unfinished. Cylinders that elevate the center blade could have some extensions from round bricks (like in 8275 set). For me your model looks too bulky when compared to real machine,
