  1. Few days ago I've bought new 8878 Rechargeable battery and I was sure that it will be perfect for creating small and remote controlled truck ;) It's small, It's blue, and I hope that it looks nice? And of course, a movie: Brickshelf Flickr MOCpages
  2. Believe or not, I HAVE 50 of them :D Thank you. Yes, you have right. I'm not sure why I didn't set the rear wheels 'backwards', but let's say that they are set to the crab steering ;)
  3. Second part of my project: Truck, trailer and a nacelle. One of my fastest built MOC. I've spent only 10 hours on building it. Unfortunately, my 'big project' requires much more parts than I firstly thought. So it will be suspended untill I buy more parts ;) General view: Without nacelle: The trailer can be extended by 10 studs. Truck with trailer is 110 studs in length at maximum. All axles in trailer are steerable: And a truck. Probably Scania 8x4 Highline ;) Brickshelf Flickr MOCPages Now I need only 'few' more parts to continue this 'little' project... ;)
  4. Unfortunately, that "bigger MOC project" needs to be suspended for some time. I need much more parts than I firstly thought, so it will take some time to buy those parts... Anyway, I'm going to show you only one more MOC related to this "Big project". Be patient ;) And yes, this crane IS small. My project requires two cranes, and bigger will be taller than 100 studs. I think that LG 1550 could be that second crane ;)
  5. Thank you :) Yes, the spare tire controls steering. And a photo of the carrier: Thank you. Yes, it's a hockey puck. When I saw them on BL, I knew that they will be perfect for my crane ;)
  6. Another 6 axle crane, with 4-axle steering, pendualar suspension and two-section telescopic boom. And yes, it really is orange ;) I built this crane, because I'm working on a big project, and a small crane is a important part of it. It's a model of Liebherr LTM 1300 mobile crane, in minifig scale. It's in orange-grey colour scheme, because most of my red, yellow and white parts will be used in other parts of my project :) Four axle steering: Pendular suspension on all axles: General view: Extending the outriggers and raising the boom: Other photos (and a counterweight): Brickshelf MOCPages Flickr ;)
  7. Thank you :) The strenght of the arm depends on the friction between 1/2 pin and bar 4L. As you can see on the picture, it can lift one log ;) Well, the biggest problem with building hydraulics elements in minifig scale is that you mostly need to choose between functionality or look. It took the second. Each cylinder is made from pin connector, 1/2 pin, bar 4L and hinge piece. When the cylinder is retracted, it remains in one piece, because bar 4L goes trough the pin connector and connects to hinge piece. But when you extend the cylinder, bar 4L goes out of the hinge piece, and cylinder needs to be put in place to look good. I know that's cheating, but as I said, in this model I preffer look ;)
  8. I don't write too much posts here, but I said that I will share my MOCs with you :) So, here's my newest model: It's a forest machine, used to transport delimbed logs outside of the forest. I tried to add some playability to the model, so it is possible to load and unload logs. Overall view: Loading logs: And we're going out from the forest: More forest machines on their way ;) Brickshelf Flickr MOCpages
  9. When the first pics of the PM sets appeared on the net, I was sure that I will never buy a PM set, because I dislike a lime colour. A bit later Misterzumbi showed his Power Miners themed models. He also wrote something about AFOL's and Power miners in his letter. Then I've started to like lime colour... Few days ago I've bought a 8959 Claw Digger. And I must say that it's very funny :) Some AFOL's who I know said that Power Miners isn't succesfull theme. Too unrealistic. Too childish. Well, It's a good thing that PM vehicles are unrealistic, because real mining machines are... boring. As you can see above, I've built an underground mining loader in Power Miners colours, which shape is based on the real machines. And... it's booooring, because it doesn't have claws, or saws. It even doesn't have oversized drill ;) Brickshelf Flickr MOCPages And that's all. Now go and build something that is less boring ;)
  10. RTT-21's are a three section wheeled transporters used to transport dangerous liquids through rough terrain. They are named as a 'Caterpillar', beacuse they are usually painted green and articulated chassis makes that its move is similar to catterpillar's. The cabin is taked from one of the 4 Juniors sets, 4653 It has an awful pattern on front, so I rotated it on the back. It looked better, but there was no room for whole minifig. But his half fits perfectly ;) The tanks for transportnig those dangerous liquids are made from white Airtanks: With and without load: Each section have a pendular suspension, that provides great stability when vehicle is moving through obstacles. City '09?

Yesterday I finally gave that 8402 to my friend. He opened it and took some pictures :) http://www.flickr.com/photos/rafalholub/33...in/photostream/
  12. M_Longer I'm two meters tall, so I'm 'longer' than most of people. And for some reason word 'longer' is used in polish conversation as noun, not as a masc. And 'M' (M from my name, Marek) has appeared in front of my nickname when I discovered that there are too much 'longer's' in the internet, so that 'M' is making my nickname more... unique ;)
  13. I found it on auction. The seller had two 7634 and three 8402. All of them was in MISB condition. So it's possible that those 8402 leaked from Kladno factory. I don't like look of that convertible, but my friend asked me to buy for him one of them ;)
  14. I bought few days ago two sets. They are: Farm Tractor 7634, and new 8402 City car. The tractor is mine, but car belongs to my friend. So, don't ask for pictures of this red sporty thing ;)
  15. Rene & Angela - I'll be good. Does anyone remember this? ;)
  16. Well, the IR Receiver is very important. Why? Because this new remote will allow to smoothly control train speed: I also hope that this new battery box is NOT a PF version of old small 9V battery box ;)

    MOC: Roller

V-LV-27D Few days ago I’ve bought 8159. I liked those mudguard pieces, so I build something with them for the first try. I’ve also used my black 20x30 wheels. The drum uses three of them. The chassis is articulated, so it’s fun to roll on trough desk ;) The model is quite simple, built just for fun ;)

    Tatra 815

Sometimes overall functionallity is more important ;) (yes, I'm a maniac that puts motors bigger than minifig in minifig scale... ;)
  19. Well, to be more precised: This is my first MOC shown here on Eurobricks, but it's not first MOC in my life ;) You can find all my creations in my Brickshelf gallery :)
  20. Tiles? No, snow is better ;) Placing minifig inside is possible, but with some problems: the cabin is a little too low (there is pneumatic tube for front blade under it, so minifig cannot sit lower) and when I put minifig inside and the roof on, little gaps appear on sides (and I don't like that) So, it is possible, but minifig must take off his hat ;)
  21. Thank you Sinner :) I'm collecting now booms from 7632 Crawle Crane (I have already 3 of them, I need at least another 3...), because I want to build something like this (I hope that it will be higher than my last crane ;) ):
  22. V-LI-05F Snowgroomers are possibly the most recognizable winter vehicles. I thought that it could be fun to make a minifig scale snowgroomer with some functions and take it on the snow :) There are two pneumatic circuits inside, each has got small cylinder and pneumatic switch. One for raising the blade and one for raising the smoothing plate: This movie shows how it works: flickr Brickshelf (not moderated yet)
  23. Hello everybody :) After a half year of reading this forum I thought it could be a good moment to introduce myself ;) My name is Marek and I come from Poland. I'm a LugPol member and one of the Klocki blog contributors. I like cranes and trucks, and few other types of machinery. I usually try to combine functions of technic models with sizes of minifig scale, but I sometimes build bigger models. All my models can be found in my Brickshelf gallery and some of them are also on Flickr. Some of them works, so I also have my Youtube channel. I will try to post my MOCs regularly, starting from today ;)
