    Yes, it's coming next year. Half of a century with LEGO Technic. I'd like to remind you, that 9 years ago we got those; Technic 40 year anniversary model was only a combo model with PDF instructions. Ah, and these sets got this: What we have now are tons of licensed cars in all scales, a dying Control+, which was supoosed to be a multi-platform succes, 2in1 RC chassis and basically no decent flagships like 42043 and 42082. And true Technic showing mechanisms and various functions is carried lately by 42209 and 42242. What are your expectations about incoming wave of anniversary sets?

    This time designers decided to put that HUB front to back. Single motor used in 42214 for steering drives the rear wheels and both front wheels are steered by single motors usually used for propulsion.

    I'm reffering to this HUB, which can't be controlled (or maybe something changed?) with something more than official Control+ app:

    2in1 HUB is locked.

    Motors? What motors? Here, take this 5k piece Pokemon set and put it on shelf! There's no way that Control+ will be continued, all individual parts are discontinued, and last set with L motor uses dump hub from 42113. I hope that they will get back to physical controls, look at CaDa and see how it should be done.

    Bickset has just posted article about new Education sets: https://brickset.com/article/129116/new-education-products-announced The thing that caught my eye are specialized track pieces, which basically look like upgraded monorail pieces, both straight and curved, along with bracket allowing to keep motor on track.

    It does, for parents. There's a parent app, allowing to change the volume of sounds etc.

    Maybe, there are addtional hinge plates, probably to mod it to have a hitch. Older red tractor looks like a toy compared to new one :)

    LEGO wants only 24€ for it :))

    Well the extension wire is better, becuase you can place the controller further from the motor. Over 600 units available at Bricklink, not to mention local pages which sell LEGO. And average price is 19$. ANd can work with any 9-12V supply/ With $98 price range it's hard to sell your idea for BT controll for $78

    What's the advantage over old 9V controller, except wireless/wifi control?

    It's hard to say if LEGO managers have any regrets - the market has changed, lots of car sets show that people want just something to put on shelf. Having Control+, where each motor can work as servo and propulsion motor skyrocketed the prices of motors itself. Only thing PF needed was bluetooth control, yet they made completely new, overpriced and weaker range of motors. Not to mention that system now requires two large HUBs if you want, for example 5 motors used, not 3 small IR receivers/two Sbricks.
