[MOC] Unimog U400
Aleh replied to MajklSpajkl's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Wow. 8110 set is still one of my favourite! This one looks not as a set mod but like a separate advanced version of unimog with the addition aim to look like 8110! Looks very functional! Are you going to release the instructions? -

Do you mean giroscope as it's implemented in 42100? It shows the tilt angle... -

Aleh replied to Maaboo the Witch's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
450 Euro is even more expensive that 42100. I hope we will get something new there, except new parts in yellow color.. From another side we had yellow Volvo an 2020 and the new flagship should be in another color. White? Liebher says "No".. Interesting. though.. -
Rotating Paddles
Aleh replied to Charbel's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I built this mechanism abnout a month ago, it looked and worked fantastic, but when I installed it into the car, I discovered two issues: - I can swith only in one direction, forward, I wasn't able to return previous position. - When connected to the gearbox it has not enouth power to swith gears, I have to pull it too hard. If the second problem may be resilved, I wonder about the first one most of all. Could anybody please explain? I confirm that. UPD: I saw the video once again - it switches in both side, but I/m able to switch only when the left paddle is pushed and the right is pulled (5L white beam is on the bottom). -
Looks absolutely mindblowing! But I don't understand what function are motorized except steering? Can it drive? Or the model is manual mostly? BTW this is the most number of differentials I have ever seen :)

Great project! And the building speed is also very impressive. I guess project was born 6-8 weeks ago and you already have front skeleton ready! I know how complex is to develop all this. Keep looking for you project! -
[MOC] 1968 Dodge Charger

Only after publishinh building instructions for the Charger. -
Hello! Here a have some updates. It may seems nothing changed, but actually model has several major udpates. General chassis view. Now in scale. Front suspension: I've replaces those dogbones and the steering becomes much smoother! Now I have to handle steering anywhere... Rear suspencion also changed - I added brakes and make the axle thicker 2 studs. And here is the model "as is": Axle with yellow knob is a gear shifter - it's suppossed to be connected anywhere. Fake V12 has dravt connection to the gearbox output. The gearbox itself is the moderated Didumos one. I make it AWD. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-16088/Didumos/sequential-8-speed-transmission-tunnel-with-rotary-catches-and-8-to-1-gearblock/#details So in the theme of the chassis I still have two problems - how to handle steering rack - I have a total lack of the room for the steering axle... and how many attempts should i need to connect gear shifter to the steering wheel... And it's time to call the project - 2020 Rollce Royce Phantom EWB

[MOC] BMW X3
Aleh replied to Jeroen Ottens's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hello! Bodywork looks complex and finished! Every part is on it's place! Great job! PS: Front gril is.. epic! Es[ecially I love front and rear lights!! -
Hello! Oh, susprisely, topic hasgreat responce. I have rebuild front suspension a litle bit - a replace dogbons for regular steering arm, sterring became much smooother! Thanks @Jurss! As for now chassis has connected AWD, luckily I was able to rebuild front drivetrain and now gear connections are strong without undensity. Then all four hubs has connected pneumatic cylinders - this caused rebuild of the rear chassis and rear hubs. Now I will investigate a gearbox and consider taking someone's decision as a basis because I won't develop my own - my weak point is gearboxes and differential's advances properties. I will upload several photos a bit later.

Allright then, if removing front driverain it will give me a lot of room between the front wheels and I can make an attempt of housing the W12 there...

Hello guys, let me introduce my latest creation - this Rolls-Royce Phantom EWB VIII generation. I was always dreaming to build something like this, so it last I could implement it. Car is fully manual! It has complex suspension - Front with anti-roll bar, akkerman, pneumo disc brakes Rear - Multilink with pneumo disk brakes V12 fake engine, connected with Didumos 8th speed gearbox Openable doors, hood and bonnet. Rear doors are opening via big linear actuators. Interior has dark tan installations, imitating natural leather, each of 4 seats is adjustable in two dimensions + support for head Adjustable support for legs, two TVs, remivable tables, vine glasses. Front interior has crystal-installation above the glove box. Stereosystem with 8 dynamics Video of it's features is in the progress. Sorry for the delay, Here are several photos of my tiny modification. The weight is 2 Kilos, not lb! All photos: https://bricksafe.com/pages/Aleh/not-a-moc- As you can see the Y-arrangement helps to the main boom independently from he boom's extension lenght or raising degree. It's fully adjustable and manual. This is the simpliest and cheapiest way. More realistic view you can get if to use chain links from 42007 set for example instead of the low string which support the arrangement from bending to the high. BUt you will need I don't know even, but at least 100 of them.
